Anime League Winter 2019

Ladies and Gentleman, dear Otakus,
welcome to MangaHelpers' new season of the Anime League!

About

• This league has one purpose and one alone. To crown the best Anime of the season.

Rules

• Every user gets to nominate his top 3 episodes of the week in THIS thread.
• Nominating day is on Sunday. It is possible to nominate BEFORE that day, but NOT after the following Monday.
• A week goes from Sunday to Saturday. The Nomination day for that whole week is the day AFTER that Saturday. For example: This week goes from Dec 31st to Jan 5th, 23:59 CET. Voting days for this week would be the 6th and the 7th 23:59 CET.
• The nominations get counted. The Anime with the most votes in total wins the league.
• There won't be a restriction for Anime which have no threads here
• Only TV shows count (no OVA, no movies, no ONA, no TV specials)
• The nominations for all shows will count as if they all had the same amount of episodes during this season. Shows with just 10, 11 or 12 episodes will get additional points based on the average they got so far to make it fair.
• A show which is longer than one cour is eligible for the season until it gets a new opening song or until halftime. Whichever comes first.

Results

• We will post an updated table each week to keep you updated about which Anime is leading so far.
• Every user who voted for the winning Anime has the chance to win a badge at the end of the year. So keep on nominating!

Boogiepop wa Warawanai ( heard a lot of good things about it, that its a gem of the past especially the LN version aka the original material )
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai (a friend recommandation )
The Promised Neverland ( for obvious reason =3= )

Natsuo Fujii is in love with his teacher, Hina. Attempting to forget his feelings towards her, Natsuo goes to a mixer with his classmates where he meets an odd girl named Rui Tachibana. In a strange turn of events, Rui asks Natsuo to sneak out with her and do her a favor. To his surprise, their destination is Rui's house—and her request is for him to have sex with her. There's no love behind the act; she just wants to learn from the experience. Thinking that it might help him forget about Hina, Natsuo hesitantly agrees.

After this unusual encounter Natsuo now faces a new problem. With his father remarrying, he ends up with a new pair of stepsisters; unfortunately, he knows these two girls all too well. He soon finds out his new siblings are none other than Hina and Rui! Now living with both the teacher he loves and the girl with whom he had his "first time," Natsuo finds himself in an unexpected love triangle as he climbs ever closer towards adulthood.

- 1 Fail. Can be outweighed by other parts, but not often.

Total appeal score of -2 from the synopsis alone. So it's a no from me, unless I start to hear good things.

Change this MC, Natsuo, to Natsina, and I'd be on board.

Pretty sure, that's the girl from the strangest gambling anime Kakegurui. Which is getting a second season. It's funny how nobody recognizes her when she's not making a creepy pervert face.

Everything else is a "wait and see"

Kakegurui was sure interesting. Will be keen on watching the second season for sure. Neverland is an easy pick. I've been waiting 2 years for this anime. Tate no Yuusha, Mob Psycho 100 II are the other series I plan on picking up.
