Kind of would be interested if the writer will kill a student or two off.

The 1st page was hilarious, the Shinigami is impressive, even Karasuma noticed nothing.

I doubt these three will die but it will be interesting to see his skills.

I wonder how Assassination Classroom will actually do in the USA. Despite the series being a success in Japan it's a total failure in France (doesn't sell much) so it makes me wonder if it'll be the same thing in the USA.

A manga based around students who are trying to kill their homeroom teacher for a bounty while firing all types of weapons at school.....people will obviously read that type of synopsis alone and will likely have a huge problem with a manga like this. This is assuming that the manga does well which I unfortunately doubt it will here, but if it does gain attention then expect your typical knee-jerk reactions from idiots who think it's not appropriate in a country like this with so many school shootings. I love this manga but I've just expected to hear things like that about this manga for a while lol and haven't yet.

It'll be like most manga here in the US: a handful of people will hear about it and even less will buy it. There will be no commotion one way or another.

My friends gave me the first 4 volumes for christmas. before starting it,due to university exams, I'd like to know how much time is still needed before the end, if in your opinion there's a clue for this. (such as, I guess One Piece will last 10 years,whereas Bleach should end in 3 years). Furthermore, how many chapters per month?

Matsui said he had already planned the ending and that it would not be too long, maybe 2 or 3 years? It is in Shonen Jump so it's 4 chapters per month if there are no breaks or incidents but the translated chapters are behind, there are about 10 chapters not translated in English.

Just read chapter 112 and wow. Seriously. That chapter is so Matsui my heart started beating faster. Plus that social commentary is turned up to a whole other level.

For the moment, the whole manga seems wasted behind a banal plot, filled with boring arcs (the baseball match, the school trip, the cinema ). I think I'll sell these volumes without going on with the plot.,although that would be rude towards my friends who gave me them. Tell me,is it worthy of continuing? or does it stay like this forever? maybe it's just that it's not the type of manga I like,hence advancing would be pointless...

Well if you don't like the story from the first 4 volumes then you won't like the rest either, that's for sure. Prolly just not your thing, Matsui's style and writing is quite special and not for everyone.

Loving the new group working on this series. And LOL at the Socialist bit in chapter 124 page 2. It's the little things that keep me coming back...and my intense love for the way Matsui tells stories.

Do we have any idea where the raws are at? This new Edited Manga group working on it is going pretty quick so I want to know where I should expect it to stop.

I think we're on 126 or 127. So they are going to be caught up pretty soon. I am loving the faster Edited Mangas though.

Their quality is ok,not as high-res as they could be. But considering we are reading them for free while waiting for Viz to catch up they do they job nicely.

Who is ready for the Chairman's inevitable sob story? some I have mixed feelings about this. I don't want him to become a totally good guy. I feel that would be too sudden of a transformation.

Already saw the past story of the chairman in the RAWs. What happened really left a scar on him.
Anyway, the class only has 3 months left until the deadline. Does anyone else think that God of Death will return as a teacher for the students or be a returning enemy on the side of Shiro?

The God of Death was so disappointing to me imo. I wouldn't want him to come back, if ever.

I think the next enemy should be Shiro since he clearly knows more than he lets on. Now that his two prodigies have deflected to Korosensei, what other plans are up his sleeve?

Well, Shiro has some plans with GoD so his returning is likely.
I wouldn't be surprised if Shiro him-/her-/itself has tentacles. If he gave them to a child why not use them on his/her/its own body?
