We wouldn't have this problem with berserk if miura never had so many god damn breaks.... This screws up anything epic happening in berserk. It's going to turn berserk into 4kids kind of stories!!

First of all Berserk is released in an adult magazine, so right there there should be a stop to prevent kids from seeing it to some degree.

I don't see Miura changing anything. Even when he had rape scenes they were all, sickly enough, important to the story and development of characters.

lol Thats a little bit creepy. Guts' heart is all Caska's and no one else's so I don't see this happening. Anyways that affection from Shrieke and Farnese is to just help develop their characters by adding a bit of romantic conundrum to the story. Its not going to go anywhere.

Berserk is targeted at adults so its not affected by the bill. Then again everyone is blowing this bill way outta proportion, it'll only affect borderline titles like To-Love-Ru for example. And even then, TLR can just switch over to a seinen magazine and it'll be fine

That's a relief, if it just changes it viewers and doesn't kick the manga/anime away then it's good.

Berserk won't be banned. That law affects only the anime/manga that are not made for +18 and have explicit sensuality or sexual insinuations and gratuitous violence.

But I'm concerned with the animation. Anime always get censored, and I think maybe Berserk remake would get censored too.

I think that if they wanted to protect their minors, they would've done it in the first place. Banning adult/violence oriented works now won't help them because there are always ways to get your hands on adult content magazines... especially in japan... Also, the law should concern the future mangas, the ones that are just starting not the ones that have a large fanbase.

First, making the online scans illegal and now censoring the scenes that make manga manga. :S I don't understand these people... If you are against it don't watch/read it and you can always raise your kids the way you want

Adult magazines wont be affected. It's just that it will become really sad to watch/read the fighting scenes in the shounen series.

I think that the type of manga they are trying to ban already made an impact on their culture... It's gonna be a hard battle .

I don't see it affecting Berserk or Gantz, considering they're marketed in adult magazines. And really they don't tread the line of "maybe legal" so I don't see how this is going to be an issue.

This line from what I can understand says to expect something big on January 8th next year. New chapter? More about the anime? Either way I will be thrilled. Regardless it isn't specific more than just saying something Berserk will come up on the 8th.

Half read about some law thing... HA! Japan trying to change laws is a laugh. I've got relatives in Japan and go there somewhat often. It's so easy for kids to access adult-based content. One summer i saw my cousin out on the back porch looking at a porn mag and NO ONE did a thing. I bet this law's true undertones is the declining birth-rate issue. Though for that, i'd say get rid of all the sex toys and host clubs.

In the end, the Japanese are just too horny to give a shiz about the law. I forsee a failure to preserve innocence. =.=

Most likely, what it is and when it's release date is. If it's a series of OVAs or something I'm fine with that, too, so it doesn't get as censored as it would have to be if it were on TV. But it does seem like they're in it for the long-haul now and it's not just gonna be one arc.

Yeah that BS leafs covered on caska was prob just for the ad, cannot have nudity of nipples in ad's i think. I love how caska was in the first anime she was one of the most prettiest female anime characters imo, when she was wearing the formal clothes at griffith's general party.

Berserk scans by Evilgenius

I have seen all the volumes released by the Hawks but when I came to volume 31 which was released by Evil-genius then I witnessed a drastic difference in the quality. I checked in Baka Updates, Evil-genius has released volume 4-30. However I have seen that since the English version of those volumes of Berserk are available to purchase so they have removed the corresponding torrent

Could someone tell me where I could find all the chapters of berserk scanned by Evil-genius. Since I am not familiar with IRC so any other way will be much appreciated
