I'm actually not that productive, I'm very slow at drawingPS I checked you deviantart, you like to draw pokemons a lot! Compared to you I'm not that productive
Anyway I'm glad that there's still people out there who start reading Berserk. I miss that feeling when you just start reading it, and you can't stop because it's so good. I think I read everything in 3 days without getting much sleep lol.
And the pokemon thing is a mix between a nostalgia and practise project, that's why there's so many of them.I actually haven't read Claymore yetfinally made it here from the claymore thread....
i know man...most mangaka's just glane past the backgrounds...but miura's is intense in each and every panel....
I might do that sometime in the future though.
Yeah It's pretty powerful, and it would take him a whole day to finish it. I read somewhere that he works 16 hours a day. I'm not sure if it's true but if it is then he must be very exhausted. Thankfully he has assistants called Studio Gaga, and they can do the inking or sometimes draw some panels, but the spreads are definitely his work because of the amount of detail in them.His work reminds me of Gustave Doré, a french illustrator and engraver.Miura's drawing have all these lines and complex shading, it almost feels like the product of engraving and not just a drawing.
Good to see such a tribute. 
In the latest Young Animal (May 9 -- No. 10), Miura drew a tribute for March Comes Like a Lion's 100th episode. As fans may know, he's good friends with that series' author, Chika Umino. Needless to say, Miura's tribute was by far the most impressive.
Obviously, it's depicting that series' characters in Berserk's Fantasia. Aaaaand there's a dwarf! Berserk's first true dwarf designs, confirmed? :badbone: The girl on the far right also has a Falconian wing crest on her hat... Interesting.
Also of note in the issue was this, which was associated with March's 100th episode. Either one or all three of these guys are Miura. Different sides of the same guy? Different guys altogether? Dunno. But his name is definitely there in the top right.

The thing is I think 19 pages are not monthly capacity, and that is how much we get now, for it to be monthly it needs to have around 30 pages, at least, 50 at most ... with the current state we get a 19 page chapter every 2-3 months. 
Or even longer hiatuses. SO yeah he needs to up the pages if he is to make a monthly regular I think.

Exactly. If a manga like SnK can have 40 pages or something, but comes out once a month, I think we'd all benefit from Berserk becoming a monthly manga.He can still take breaks if he wants, but if he were to release a chapter, it would have like 40 or 50 pages, instead of just 19 pages. I really feel cheated right now because it simply isn't worth it to wait all this time for just 19 pages. Also Berserk has been out for more than 20 years, it's about time we get a conclusion.If we don't rush him, Miura will never finish it, and prolly die before that happens.It's irregular, bottom line, but no idea why Miura just does not make it monthly, or even bi-monthly ... or something involving months, lol.
