Eh I think movies are too time-constrained. They had to cut out a good bit of detail to make the movies short enough. An anime series at least allows them to include all the details if they plan to have multiple seasons (which I sure as hell hope they do). So ideally an anime adaptation will always be more accurate to the source material.
It's scary... If you think about the anime you've watched and start listing the ones that were actually faithful to the manga... That list will probably be shorter than Puck... While they did remove some great scenes from the moviesn, (the one with Zodd throwing his weapon to Guts was the one I felt so bad about)... They didn't add some crap that doesn't exist in the manga... Plus, the pacing was great (You know what I mean no over the top staring contests, no summaries or previews that eat half of each episode, no unnecessary flashbacks and the other shit anime series seem to love shoving in our faces...).
Yea that being said. This is not a shonen anime so it will have an emphasis on quality like the original anime did. No bs. Just content I hope. I loved the movies and ya the zod scene being cut has me scratching my head. Also no giant penis monster before the Eclipse. I have faith. Just wait and see I suppose.
Oh and what was Farnese, Azan and Serpico showing up at the ball? And SK showing after the Guts and Caska love scene? They did add or if you want alter some scenes but what's even worse is that they cut some of the more important ones, like the bonfire scene which is pretty important if you want to really understand the BoTH and how they were willing to sacrifice everything for Griffith.
Yea there is no reason Berserk will get the shonen treatment. 26 episode seasons seem to be the best possible route to take. Split the seasons into major arcs as well. I really wouldn't mind if they did the golden age fully detailed. I know it's been beaten repeatedly but I never get sick of it. It's such an awesome story.
What I'd like to see is something like JJBA, with each arc or saga adapted into an anime series. And when they do catch up on the manga it's likely they'll take a break, till there's enough released material.

Because Griffith raped caska infront of Guts, i wanted guts to take his revenge so bad it fucked up my faith for this manga i want grifth to die, Every time i remember this part of the manga i hate it but i really wanted to know what happened after that, thanks man for your help.I see that people are as helpful as ever around here, well @Tryndamere it all depends on why you dropped it in the first place, but to put it shortly Griffith got what he always wanted and got his own kingdom after defeating Ganishka(the head of the Kushan army if you reached that part) and Guts...well he just reached Elfhelm where he was hoping he could drop Caska off and get her healed. Does that answer your question?
And I just gave you the grand lines, of course there's a lot of stuff that happens in between but those are the most important bits, oh yeah and the merging of layers happened because of Griffith (and SK) so the Berserk world is a big fucked up place right now with all kinds of magical creatures going on a rampage.
It would be nice to know why you dropped it in the first place and if this kind of development could spark your interest again.
My curiosity dwells within, who will lose and who will win Griffith or Guts only that.
Sure no problem, and tbh I'm not sure if what you're suggesting is feasible anymore since Griffith used Guts+Caska's child as a vessel in order to be reincarnated. So he would be killing his own son.:/
