The last "zombie" can throws laser beams so it can be something that Asta sword can't deflect.
Maybe he can summon higher ranks zombies like a number 2 or 1.

But this guy has a flaw in his tactic. He needs to put a portion of his mana in the bodies so he can control them.
Unless he has a Kyuubi inside him, his mana will deplete very fast.

Fuegoleon giant lion attack is the coolest.
But some attacks are very weird, like the mercury rain one.

And last but not least, is it just me or the art kinda improved?

He's arrogant like the other members of the Magic Knights which just imply that he has a high level of magic because if not he will not use multiple zombies which could deplete his magic exponentially.

Unsurprisingly, they pretty much ripped through the zombies with casual ease. Aster's magic is pretty effective against the zombies, even if it requires him to keep working at it. It seems as though we're going to get a look at his top-shelf undead, now that the fodder's been dealt with.

Well, he need something bigger that can contain a larger amount of magic than his smaller zombies and this time he also needs to be attached to the zombie in order to give him a continuous supply of magic since just a single slash or stab from Asta's sword can cut the flow of magic from the user to the zombie.

Some pages seems to be out of order, but from what I grasped, there's some teamplay between Asta, Leopold and Noelle.
The "laser beam" are more like fire balls, and Asta can deflect it normally. But he can't attack directly as he need to protect the little girl, so the teamplay came in the right time.

I love the teamwork I'm seeing in the raw! Fuegleon karate chopping Noelle looks funny, I look forward to the translation to see what he said to Noelle about her siblings. That dual wield tornado spin by Asta was sweet, I like the art for the last few panels especially. Anyways I wonder what Cyclops death mage is gonna do now, I still think it'd be too early to beat him and we did see before the attack that he has an accomplice.

Noelle helps Asta by creating a barrier around the girl.
The Cyclops dude summon more zombies.

Asta attack the big zombie with the whirlwind attack.

The whirlwind is probably the magic that he absorbed from either the nearest person to him or the last magic that it had absorbed.

What i honesty feel is that this could be written better. The pace is a little bit too fast for me. Was hoping it separate itself later on in the future. What keeps my attention is if Asta becomes corrupted or not.

I do not enjoy this force harem/romance

And I do find Yuno way more interesting than the MC.

A pretty solid chapter. Leon knocked some sense into Noelle. And with the extra back-up, Aster managed to take down Jimmy. Although, considering how he summoned him, I'm fairly certain he has some other special zombies in line.

A good teamplay.
There's no as many of this nowadays as it used have.
If we takes in account that Asta's second sword need the power of others, It's gonna happen more often.

There's something weird about this necromancer dude. He seems capable enough to invade the city, but he is not taking serious his opponents.
Maybe he can summon a higher rank "Jimmy" like I said earlier...

This is the first time i've seen someone use zombies to such an effective degree also we don't know if he has better more mobile and stronger zombies capable of even using stronger magic jimmy was using its own magic.

I do see Aster becoming corrupted though I wonder what other skills Aster has in that grimore aside from two swords I wonder if he can make a third sword appear or a shield as he could clearly use a shield right about now or even a set of bow and arrows would be perfect for him

With the translation I liked the chapter as much as I thought I would. The pacing is really fast though, but at least it's unpredictable because I have no idea if they'd beat Cyclops guy that quickly and where's his accomplice. Highlight of the chapter was FuegoLeon's lecture to Noelle, I like his character more and more.

With only 27 chapters so far. It is not that sure whether this Manga is gonna stay long or not.

I like it! I prefer him looking older but I really like that "devilish" look to him. I wonder how Yuno's looks.
