Finally up to chapter 10 of this manga.

Short-sta never gets old. Loved this whole arc and the resurrection of some type of being going on in the background.

Excellent art as always, and the pet bird is kind of cute.

Just read the whole 1-10 chapters and i feel like the characters are a combination of Naruto and Fairy Tail because of the MC doesn't have skills yet and also the guild thing. Also i forgot but i think i saw an anime or manga pulling out a weapon in book somewhere

Anyway i like that the MC and other people doesn't even know that he got a 5 Clover Leaf Grimoire.

I can see that in the future the MC's Grimoire will evolve making his anti-magic sword even more OP.

You probably thought about Konjiki no Gash bell, another great manga. Spells there are casted by a book holder yet the spells are preformed by demons.

I like the Wizard King based off first impressions at least. I kinda hope his random disguise thing is a running gag of his, it would make his appearances more random (and hopefully cool). And with his introduction happening so soon, I wonder what's next.

The Wizard King's personality is similar to the one Jin has in World Trigger, kind of an easy going man, people have trouble handling. I loved the latest chapter. Gotta say the girls in that series are hot...

Yeah you're right he reminds me of jin, easy going, untamed, and strong. Hopefully like Jin he is a step ahead of the threats his kingdom faces, and reliable when things get bad. And oh yeah haha Vanessa is a treat to look at, Noelle is beautifully drawn too. Noelle also reminds me of Claire from Claymore design wise.

I'm looking forward to seeing more about the Black Bulls and the plots direction, but I still hope we can keep tabs on Yuno. Because I'm interested in what he's doing too.

Yuno still protecting his Asta even after theyve been apart for long is nice. I wonder if he will challenge Asta to find the treasure in this place first since I do think they had some rivalry going on. Asta team lacks anyone for long range attack so they will be at a disadvantage here.

Yes based on the plot Yuno and Asta may not only reach the treasure at the same time but may be highly important for the destruction of these Lotus characters. Love them pairing up on the same team.

Maybe I'm not as experienced with Shonen manga as others but this feels weird.

I've never witnessed a rival relationship start off on such...friendly terms. Hell, all of the initial "hostility" was actually just a misinterpretation of Yuno's actions and words. I'm interesting to see how this relationship evolves going forward.

Outside of that..a lot of the plot thus far feels a little lackluster. I like the magic premise but I haven't seen anything that has made me really want to latch onto this series.

Well this other guild has some pretty strong members. They actually have interesting personalities as well, the old man and his daughters and at least not wanting to eliminate the promising ember Luck. Though he did have the teammates are sacrifices opinion, I still think he is an interesting antagonist.

I wonder how Yuno's group will fare. One already eliminated isnt good. Though maybe its a setup for Asta to save Yuno?

14 was pretty good. I thought bought were actually going to charge toward the treasure and not worry about Luck and megane kun but to have the friendship message come up was pleasant and surprising. Loved their promise to each other back in the day about their bond thats closer than friendship and also about getting many more friends. To come from such a small village the value in bonds being so high is a expected. Love the execution, and all the high powered attacks.
