Wow... green mantis order. :L Wasn't expecting that. Also, is it just me or does it seem like Charlotte likes Yami??

The first half looks like it's comic relief and the Asta is badass at the end totally sneaking pass all of the captains and third eye members - surprising even Licht, landing an attack on him! People were complaining about how useless he was gonna be, turns out they were wrong. Hopefully, the other captains will begin to acknowledge Asta here.

I'm just hoping they don't continue fighting and leave this fight for another stage - I don't know, it just doesn't feel like it's time for this battle yet.

I think we have had enough battle for a change its time for both side to step back. The vilians must have had enough today and should be reminded that they are are hidden rebellion not an equal opposing force for a reason by now and the good guys should go back congratulate themselves

I knew it! Charlotte totally has a crush on Yami. :L
In the Korean scan I didn't realize Nozelle targeted Licht, it's good that translations point these things out. Just as expected no one but Yami realized Asta passed everyone to reach Licht - hopefully ending the fight for now.

Wow so we have some one with a crush on Yami. Lol this will get interesting. Yamis magic seems a bit low copared to others that is he doesnt have a wmd type attack likeothers. I suppose lnowledge of ki , physical strength and swordmanship makes up for the lack of such.

we don't know that Yami is weaker then the other. Yani's playing around hasn't been serious in this fight from the first panel of the first page he was introduced. The fact that he's a captain and the fact the main lightning villain said he's equivalent possibly to the Emperor King should not be taken lightly for all we know he's holding back.

When the pscycho mantis captain asked him if they were tough he said no there like little kittens so we know for a fact he doesn't take them serious and he only took this damage as his magic carpet suggested to save his comrades otherwise who knows what the hell he'd have done.

Throughout this fight Yami never has gotten a serious personality he's been screwing around and having fun even when it got three on one, Yami had to almost hold back so Asta, Gauche and his magic carpet didn't get killed I'm sure few have seen his full power in serious mode.

the fact that charlotte loves Yami is amazing this will definitely lead to some interesting and hilarious twists in the story and hopefully I hope they do marry. I mean if charlotte and Yami married and assuming the resulting kid had a combination of both powers he'd be a hell of a fighter using vines and darkness he'd be a real force.

Maybe asta will be the catalyst to get them married

Oh, Asta took down licht finally. Quite interesting. Guess they won't be getting that tome now. Asta not having mana has its perks. He managed to slip past all the high tier fighters unnoticed. I guess they'll try to retreat now. With licht in this condition, they'll probably want to take him away. Also, it was hilarious to see licht use rasengan

Well given that he used anti magic sword not the magic channeling one i am pretty sure the healing ward like fire magic has been negated, add to that a heavy blow from a muscle hardened asta and may be yami will do a follow up to that Litch is in fore a decommissioning for quite some time. Its good to see that they managed to hit back after getting played by these goons back in their capital.

Well, his black hole + slash combo was impressive. And yeah, ki is a great boost to his overall strength. It provides him superior reaction to attacks compared to the others mages. He was able to defend against Licht's attacks with ease only because of ki. I believe, other captains would have much trouble to just react to the light magic in comparison, who knows. But Gauche's feat of counter his strongest unavoidable spell when it was already shotted makes it less believable...

Is that Marx?? - I think that was his name, the guy who is like Julius' assistant or something. He appears to be talking to Asta about 'White Night Eye'.

On the brighter side - it looks like the fighting is over for now.​

Yeah, the same thing happened to me just now - I checked it when I posted it and seemed to take me to Black Clover. Not sure why it didn't work; I just swapped the link for mangamint - it should work now. :L

It's the guy who was looking after the king when the Magic Emperor was M.I.A during the kingdoms attack - he has appeared to be talking with Julius a couple of times as well if I remember correctly. Marx is his name, I think. He is apparently one of Julius' advisors.

You can find him in chapters 29 & 37.

Apparently Marx is requesting Asta to use his anti magic on Catherine and George - to remove the protection spell. Asta's swords also used to belong to Licht's 'master'. Not sure yet, chapter should be out soon.

Asta's swords could be called; Demon Dweller and Demon Slayer.
