Nice colour page - I'm just assuming that those are something similar to dungeon creatures in Magi, they could also be more things the priest has made with his magic. The Korean scans for One Piece and Bleach are out so Black Clover scans should be available in the next few hours.

Rather average chapter - but it brings up the point that Noelle doesn't know any offensive magic, which had surprisingly never crossed my mind before as she only knows the one spell. I trust she can find her way out of this one though.

Best thing about this chapter (other then the awesome colour page) would probably be the fact that Yami - without any argument really, just sits down and watches his underlings fight with a drink in his hand and again shows how much confidence he has in his squad as he just knows they'll make it through... well because if they don't he'll kill them himself. :'D

The chap is out, that was a fun chapter. It seems too easy for now so i guess soon we will see the villians to tip the odds against our main charas

Yeah, it looks like we get to see Vanessa, Finral and Gray fight in the next few chapters. I don't think we actually know Vanessa's magic, I know she's good at mana control. We know Gray can imitate someone's appearance but I wonder what else he can do. I just hope Noelle will be okay and maybe get another spell in her Griamore.

clearly the black bulls are way stronger then they look and it seems like a few interesting matchups are being built such as Gauss, fireball and lightning dude are a serious dangerous three man team and they all think alike. The shape shifter is missing as noelle figured out and that's going to be a key to success he may have already gone to find the stone ahead of everyone else.

wonder if asta and noelle will get new spells noelle said she doesn't have an attack so looks like she will now and asta needs a battle axe and mace to complete his weapons set

in this arc i see all the characters getting a huge power boost aside from the stone a few powerful weapons or spells will be given to everyone

The most useless being in existance is that girl who eats. 0 feats to date. Even the hag she captured was done in by Yuno. She has 0 likeable traits as well. I dont see why the author want to waste time by drawing panels for such abysmally poor character.

As you can see after Yuno 'took her down' she could still steal mana and he wasn't able to do anything as he collapsed from exhausting his mana. Had she gotten to anyone else, Catherine would have been able to continue fighting whereas Yuno was done. So, technically Charmy has done something because they got intelligence from her later on.

I kind a dont buy that She was the only one capable. I believe any other magic knight could have done the same. Ofcourse it would require a magic knight not a rif raf magician.

Sorry, I meant anyone else as in had Charmy not been where she was - Catherine would've just stolen the chefs mana. But yeah, had another magic knight been there - as long as they knew an attack with similar force the result would've been the same.

Kahono and Kiato's father looks badass!

I haven't been active here recently cause I was waiting for this arc to really pick up. Not much to say about the recent chapters. Finral's escape from the fish was creatively funny, not surprised by Charmy's defeat (hopefully she'll still have a badass moment later).

REALLY looking forward to Vanessa in action, and I personally loved the reveal about Noelle subconsciously not wanting to hurt people. Better character development for her, learning to overcome that, rather than learning to aim.

Vetto's appearance doesn't surprise me that much, I was expecting the White Night Eye to run interference. I look forward to how all this'll break down now.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. There isn't much to talk about so far, but given how things are looking - this arc is about to get better. So far it hasn't effected the popularity over in Japan as BC has been in the top 3 for about 8 weeks - maybe a bit longer... it ranked 2nd this week, under OP but above BNHA.

WNDE appearing was obviously expected - I forgot about their water mage from Asta's first mission, but they have about 60 (?) members so they probably have more then one. Basically if they take the water mage out - Vett and the others should have trouble escaping if they need to. I'm curious about who'll end up with the magic stone and when WNDE will take the one from Black Bull.

I'm also liking Kaito, he seems like a cool character so far.

This chapter has raised the hype, while there wasn't much to talk about up till now, I have enjoyed this arc. Having almost all the Black Bulls together is entertaining.

That panel of Luck and Magna all fired up is the best one in the chapter, I wish it was a color page. I'll save my other thoughts for when its translated.
