Naruto's character was a Luffy clone but I don't remember you crying about it.

I don't agree this is anything like Naruto I mean for 1 it's not annoying. This manga is more like early not annoying FT if I'm honest, Asta is an MC who took the best character parts from different MC's, though it is pretty stupid of the writer to not have given us any information about Astars book, the enemy has said something about it so many times heck it's a 1 of a kind and no 1 close to Astar has tried to find out about it ever for a 100 chapters, this now leads me to believe the author has no clue what he wants to develop with this and if this issue is not addressed soon or at least hi tshego given I'm seriously going to start disliking this story with now way forward

well , in 2008 , the first manga I read was Naruto ... I just start to read OP from 2012 .... and truth should be told , I hate Naruto character and his hypocrisy while I really have a natural view on Luffy and Goku and Aster .... this manga is not bad and doesn't annoy me like FT but writer should try to be more creative ....
the good point of this manga is that has no useless fan service and has a fast pace .... but the story and especially main character doesn't have any depth ...

anyway the fact that I even cared to say my opinion about this manga mean this manga is not bad , maybe I just wish this manga become better and compete with like of OP and HxH ....

of course I hate FT ( while I like Zeref character !! )

both Black Clover and World Trigger have best fights between Shonon manga , I really enjoy world Trigger fight and did like Vetto fight in BC ....

From the looks of this chapter, the Diamond kingdom invasion was pretty much just throw away to allow a Golden Dawn, Black Bulls meeting. William is indeed powerful he, Yuno, and Rangils effortlessly defeated three captain level opponents.

I do like Asta and Yuno's friendly rivalry so far, I just wanted slower pacing for an arc focused on Yuno's development.

The part that interested me the most of this chapter though is Lotus recognizing Yami from a prior meeting, and him being disappointed that William didn't recognize him. I'm hoping this leads to a flashback on a younger Yami and William. Maybe they met Lotus on the same mission. I

I'm just speculating cause I honestly have no idea where this arc is gonna go next. So far a pattern in Black Clover is just when you think the arc is over, its not.

I'm rather disappointed about how weak the generals were. I totally expected William and Rangils to fight one on their own with no difficulty- but Yuno taking one out with ease was unfortunate; but now we know how strong he is now.

Now what I look forward to the most is William and Yami's conversation. What's Yami gonna ask him? How will William respond?? (Also - I had a laugh with a friend because in one panel, William looks like a female; let the 'William is a woman' theories come in. :L) But yeah - William took out something like 100 diamond kingdom soldiers himself; plus the general.

Only ways I see this arc continuing would be; more people showing up (Mars in particular, though I feel it's too soon for him to come back) or William and Yami have a disagreement. Oh! There is also the Rangils and Finral reunion. Nothing else comes to mind.

Not the best chapter; but I still found it good. BAMF William squeezing the General to death. ʘ‿ʘ So savage.

right now who knows maybe there's a second set of powerhouses that are going to come into the fray from diamond to continue the battle and this is where the black bulls will make a fight out of it or maybe it did end but asta needs wings and flight

BC fights and world is better and ART IS OF DIFFERENT LEVEL!
Two weeks number 1 in weekly shounen ranks and constantly ranked for last year number 3 after One Pieece and Boku no Hero shows that this manga is already liked from japanese people who are actually more important than us.Someone need to kick your ass and fuck of from this section.

I have to agree; Asta shouting "I'm gonna be the Sorcerer Emperor" - is annoying and can be cringe worthy a lot of the time. There were only 2 times I've found it used well; the exams and at the promotion ceremony. Of course it had to be used in ch. 1 so we know what his goals were and what story was gonna be about; so that passes too.

But no doubt Asta will be Sorcerer Emperor. As much as it makes a lot more sense for Yuno to be it - it's highly likely Asta will be it in the end. Though; what I wonder most is who the King will be at the end, of course Noelle's father is gonna be disthrowned or killed. (He's an ass)

Yuno becomes SE and Asta becomes king after marrying Noelle... I kid. Yes, I admit it'd be strange for him to become the SE because he himself isn't a 'Sorcerer'.

But - I think the Vermilion family should take over as the royal family, Fuego was said to be the one who could be both the SE and King; so maybe just the King? (The guy just has to wake up!) The current king is who I believe to be the one responsible for the massacre of Licht's people; so I wouldn't be surprised if the Silva family is dethroned in the future.

likely Noelle will be the Queen of all 4 kingdoms because her power is monstrous it's larger then yami and since yami was said to have mana at the level of soul king then technically her mana is very high too. As for SE it depends Asta or Yuno both could take it it's very possible for Asta to become the demon king or demon emperor and Noelle will be his right hand. That part of the manga can also occur and happen

Rangils went to kill them all with Yargos - basically thinking of them as 'collateral damage'. But Asta and co. chose to take him down, saving the citizens in the process.

Yeah Asta looks fine but Yuno is just ehhh. He doesn't have that cool guy factor, he looks too feminine, hoping its just cause of this pic.

Well Rangils is an asshole, figured he would be, but didn't think he'd be this big and dirty of one.

It's funny how the Black Bulls are considered the "worst" order of Magic Knights, because of all the destruction they cause when on missions. But Rangils and Yuno are doing some hefty collateral damage with buildings being destroyed, and Rangils planning on killing civilians, makes me wonder if he has done it before. I would hope they get a black start like the Bulls have for this damage, but I doubt they will since they so efficiently stopped an invasion.

Looking forward to the Yami and William conversation.

Overall I liked the chapter - other then Asta using his mouth to wield his sword... I just don't understand how he could actually hold it with his teeth... Oh well ~

It's unfortunate Rangils is a douche - but I imagine some of the reasons he is like this is; being praised his whole life, achieving so much at such a young age, having the burden of becoming the head of the family even though he is the younger brother, his brother being a 'failure' and abandoning him and his parents. Even so; it doesn't excuse him going to kill innocent people because he didn't want to waste time. It was good to get some development on both brothers though.

So yes, the good part - we may get to se William's face next week; unless we ourselves don't see it, there is an interruption, William talks himself out of this one, etc... other then that I don't see any reason as to why we don't see his face.

But Tabata... I waited a week for that conversation and all I got was that?! Come on...

yea rangils is a douche but i think the difference is that the black bulls stand out in society and break all social norms and there powers are terrifying and strong and normally you don't them developed to keep your social status hence why the black bulls don't get appreciated for the same work everybody else does for some reason i don't think willaim is the bad guy but the sorceror emperor too much emphasis is placed on willaim for him to be a bad guy

Yami: What? Is it ugly? I absolutely won’t laugh, ha ha ha.

Yami: Light magic and Yggdrassil magic, they’re completely different… but the physique, voice and above all the presence… but
William*I am not sure about this one… but it’s something like this*: I met you about 10 years ago, fighting together occasionally on the battlefield, becoming a captain *Nozel is also mentioned here for some reason*

Yami watches William take off his mask, his face is shown to be burnt from his nose upwards, part of his forehead has even worse burn scars.

Yami: That’s a ridiculous scar, did you get it on the battlefield?
William: No… When I was born, I was called the cursed child…This mark will not even heal with magic, I was feared by the humans I guess… a noble welcomed me into their family *Something about not being the heir?* I received terrible abuse day-by-day by the wife in my childhood, it was hell.
Yami: It must’ve been hard(??)
William: But meanwhile, I met Julius - like that person who did not care about my appearance (the noble who took him in), he only saw my power

[Flashback]

William shown as a child, near trees using his magic

Julius: Yggdrassil magic!? Such majestic and solemn magic you can do! Amazing!! More than anything, your kind - trying to protect all, but your magic is wonderful! Do you want to enter the magic knights?

William looks up at Julius in surprise: But… this face of mine…
Julius: Eh? But you don’t have to worry about that… Well - I’ll give you this mask!
William: This is… not a very smart idea.
Julius is shocked: Eh?

[Flashback END]

Yami: (Not really sure, but Yami thinks that maybe it was an accidental resemblance, but he still thinks Licht and William’s appearance is similar and he apologises to William)
William: No… to speak the truth - I’m glad you could look at me. Thank you Yami

“Captain Vangeance! Diamond has began to withdraw!”

*I left out a bit - but I am pretty sure this is the important stuff, rest of the chapter shows Yuno, Rangils and Asta + co. then the chapter ends with Mars in a room with a few of the Diamond Generals. (Counting the people there, Mars is not a General, unless the silhouetted man is the SE equivalent.*

This could be wrong in quite a few areas, but I guess this about right? Sorry if it's wrong. T.T
