Guys.. This is only my fan theory.. If you don't agree it would be perfectly fine... But take some time to read and share your thoughts..

I was a big fan of the old shichibukai.. Particularly with Mihawk, Doffy, and Boa.. And during the Marine War, they were the only characters that survive without even a scrath. Although Boa wasn't fighting any top tier opponent, I still give her a credit.. I mean after all the explosions, quakes, battles, ect. she still came out flawless.. I also think Oda doesn't want to show more of her and want to reserve it for the right time.. Unlike Doffy, Oda wants to give him a better hype to make him more intimidating as for the dress.Arc. But I believe there's more to boa that we are about to discover in the future...she doesn't really have much feats but her hype makes up for it. Like when Elder Nyon said that, because of her strength there's nothing to worry about partaking in the Marine War although she new fully well that it's a battle against WB pirates where there's a big possibility that Boa might be attacked by the commanders or even White Beard himself.. Also when Senguko consider her as valuable ally and stated, she's is a strong woman. .

In this trend I want to share my idea to how I think boa could showcase her power..

First, we all know boa knows both Conquers and armament.. I believe she also has observation since her sister has it.. as the captain (like luffy) she should posses it as well since it can be learn through training.. I think during the marine war.. There's a hint to her observation Haki where she knew luffy was fine after oakiji and Kizaru attacks them while everyone wasn't sure if they where including Kizaru (although he likes to troll all the time) I even think she's the one to teach her sister..

I have this crazy idea, since at the time she hasn't mastered her conquer yet, I was hoping for her to master it and fuse with her Df.. She would learn a new move and call it "Stone Age" (similar to Oakiji's). Like I said this move is a combination of conquers and Df.. I anticipated it to be like a big wave of aura traveling round a big area.. As it travels around her, all inanimate object well turn into stone and as it is fused with conquers all the weak Will people will immediately turn to stone (not pass out). I think that's a pretty pretty cool move..

Another Idea for her power ups is a third gear not particularly third gear but someting like that since her and luffy were trained by Rayleigh.(wait, was she tried by Ray.?not sure) .. I think her perfume femur= luffys second gear. But her second gear can be blocked by armament cause if itsnt then she should pretty op (super OP) .. That's just hax at its fullest..
Her third gear would be like luffy's.. The combination of Armament and DF.. She uses stronger version of perfume femur like jelly covering her legs and arms and infusing her armament making it darker shiny red with steam (fragrance coming out) with this move any armament weaker than her will have her Df affects them turning them into stone.. I believe there should at least be limitations to her power because that could put her above yonko level so at least let's base it with haki since yonkos have incredible mastery of haki...

Another power-ups.. Gear 4.. This is anchored with the theory that conquers Haki can be used in the battle.. So Gear for would be Strongest Version of perfume Femur+ Armament+Conquers. By the use of Conquers.. Boa can slightly break into someone's Armament stronger than her making her Df petrify..

.. Again.. This is just a fan theory.. But thanks for reading.. 😊

Idk if you can call it gear? I mean Luffy calls it that depending on the way he strains his body internally while using his df and only because he had his particular fruit. Boa doesn't have a fruit like that. I can see her having upgraded versions of her attacks where her petrify goes in all direction spreading out in a sphere. But yeah...her speed, toughness, battle prowess, etc is all just because she is smart and uses Haki and can not be done using gears.

Like I said its not particularly a Gear but something like that..
Also.. Luffys gear allow him to use armament haki while maintaining his abilities to stretch.. I don't see why Hancock cant do that as well.. Where she can use armament while also retaining the effect of perfume femur. Think about it.. At least in my point of view.. It is somehow possible..

I'm not really saying it isn't possible but rather extremely unlikely because...

If doflamingo can shoot haki laden strings then maybe haki can be applied to Hancock's powers. The only issue is Hancock's powers are like super intangible. It isn't the smoke or ice type intangible... It literally is the epitome of magic, turning people to stone type of intangible lol.. Or like the Noro Noro, slowing you down, how can Haki be applied to that? These powers are too magical to use armament Haki to make them "harder":

"Busoshoku Haki is a form of Haki that allows the user to use their spirit to create, in essence, an invisible armor around themselves, providing potentially incredible offensive and defensive capabilities" - from the wiki

And then in Amazon Lily you see them using haki on their arrows meaning haki can be imbued into physical objects. Katakuri shows that one doesn't even need to touch some physical object to coat them in Haki (although he did generate the donuts himself...) How long the object stay Hakified is yet to be determined or stated explicitly in the manga. I am willing to bet the higher the proficiency in armament haki, the longer your object stays imbued. I just don't see how beams of magic can be clad in CoA. Has it ever happened before in the past where someone did this with their (super intangible) df powers? What I can see is the various users of said devil fruits train harder and gain even more creativity and proficiency with their DFs as well as possibly awakening them. Awakening seems more like what you are describing rather than using Haki with her powers.

Maybe her awakening could be that she could also turn other stuff like water/ice/fire into stone, she hit them? So far she has only been shown to able to turn people and solid objects into stone

Regarding this subject it think it would be cool if boa can create a love snake that petrify the target via biting them kinda like perfume femur except with an extended melee range, her awakening might be an AoE type of thing resisted only by someone who has a stronger haki or even being able to use hot pink flames of love for direct destructive attacks ( similar to luffy's red hawk ).😋

I now I understand your point..
But come to think of it.. Most of Hancock's ability actually are tangible the only exception is Mero Mero.. Yes I won't include Perfume femur.. Because the ability's name speak for it self.. "Perfume".. perfume isnt intangible although it can't be seen because in a liquid.. I believe whenever Hancock uses perform Femur, her body produces small amount of liquid that anything would make contact to it would turn to stone.. That's why I also think she can have stronger version of it producing large amount of it making it visible to the naked eye.. That even the sent it produce would be visible and wound take the same effect of the perfum itself.. What do think.

Ice would be possible.. But water, fire, lightning would be unlikely.. Maybe fire and lightning would not turn to stone but rather disappear..

I see perfume femor as a but of an application of her mero mero. I don't think it's the kick itself that turns people to stone... Rather people turn to stone due to their attraction to her and then she kicks them. I doubt boa can arbitrarily transform people into stone at least, that is way too OP. With momonga we saw that it is possible to resist being turned to stone after all.

As for a combination of haki and the petrification.. that sounds odd to me tbh. I could see conqueror's haki being combined with abilities but I don't quite see what the advantage of the combination would be in this case.

And haki can definitely be imbued into intangible stuff. We know for a fact that zoro can send slashes at an insane range that are imbued with haki. If slashes are doable then it should work for other stuff.

I remember her breaking smoke's weapon but didn't she simply kick it hard enough? Only the tip is kairoseki and smoker lacked haki at that point. And IIRC she defeated pacifista but they were never shown petrified iirc. The manga barely featured those fights iirc. I have no recollection whatsoever about the soldier's weapons though.

Probably. Apparently Haki can even prevent Law's Room ability from having effect. In fact it should work against any ability.

Otherwise someone would have defeated Kaido with some weird Devil Fruit ability.

The issue would be... we don't know the rules regarding how petrification works if she can really can turn people or things to stone via kicking them. It looks like there are multiple mechanism at work.

When boa attacks people in the MW soMe were actually busy fighting each other..

Also one thing to consider.. When Luffy ask Boa to accept the Marine Offer her sister cried something like just petrify him immediately.. Which they already now that Mero Mero does not work on him.. So her sister might mean the other moves that does not require lust..

Yes, but Haki would still protect someone from petrification, even if it is a beam or a kick...

Because Vergo Haki was not strong enough... or that's what Doflamingo implied.

In that case then.. Boa Hancock as a leader of a tribe specialized in haki should have better haki than most characters.. Considering she has COC.. Her strength is not to be underestimated..

But I think CoA would only give you extra protection towards impacts and damages.. It can decrease the destructive capability of DF depending on your on haki.. But Df that works relatively as magic such as manipulation of your age, turning you to doll, turning you to stone, Grabbing your soul and etc.. I don't think CoA can work as protection against it.. Cause if so.. Df should be literally unnecessary for one should have only focus on haki..

It does seem Haki gives almost perfect protection against Devil Fruit abilities. I'm 100% sure since it was not said that explicitly.

But I use Law as an example because he got one of the weirdest abilities. I don't see why Vergo wouldn't be affect by Law ability because of Haki, but the Haki level wouldn't matter for Sugar or Hancock abilities.

Rayleigh also commented Haki is the only way to counter Devil Fruit abilities. He kinda of generalized it, like it would work against any Devil Fruit. Again, not 100% about it.
