Discussion Bounties: How are they Attributed?

That was most definitely for our benefit but also it was Sengoku that asked the question. At the time I thought it was because he had away from active Marine duties so he was curious if anything had changed.

I'm going to merge this with the Bounty thread; there's nothing that's discussed here that can't be done there, but also eventually this would move away from Luffy and Hancock, which it's started to already.

Ah, definitely. Though you'd think oda would find a less awkward way to make this point. The marines should be throwing people who don't know yonko bounties overboard ffs... It's not like bounties are a secret to OP's population.

Especially with characters that are supposed to be at the top of the pirate food chain. It makes sense to have some marine officers carry a stack of bounties, but I'd imagine those are the newer marines or rather unfamiliar pirates.

But emperors have been around so long, I'd imagine high ranking officers are quite familiar with their bounties, maybe less so the background stories such as the ones Sengoku was talking about.
