I represent a new group called Fighting Dreamers Edited Mangas. However we seem to have problems keeping on staff, as we had to make our first release a joint project in order to get the editors. And our translator is leaving soon. So I was wondering if you might be willing to consider translating for us Our Projects are Tokyo Underground and Shadow Skill Invincibility Fire Ball. here is a quote from wikipedia about Tokyo Underground

Under Tokyo's underground railway system is a world called Underground (地下世界, chika sekai?), populated by Elemental Users, people who can manipulate various elements. When the Maiden of Life, Ruri Sarasa, and her bodyguard, Gravity User Chelsea Rorec escape to the surface, they take refuge with swordsman Asagi Rumina and his bespectacled best friend Isuzu Ginosuke. During a battle with the flame-using Seki, Rumina is killed and then resurrected by Ruri. The revived Rumina finds he now has the power to manipulate Wind, a rare talent amongst the Underground people. Realizing Ruri is in danger, Rumina vows to protect her, even if it means going to the Underground to rescue her from her eventual captors before she gets sacrificed.

Here is a quote from wikipedia about Shadow Skill Invincibility Fire Ball

Shadow Skill (シャドウスキル－影技－), is a manga series with anime adaptations, created by Studio Deen and aired on Japanese Television in 1998, and has been released in the United States by ADV Films in 2005. The series is based on the manga by Megumu Okada. A shonen series, it features a lot of combat, especially martial arts.

The main protagonists of Shadow Skill are Elle Ragu, the 59th Sevalle in the kingdom of Kuruda, and Gau Ban, an orphaned boy that Elle takes up as her adopted brother. He is currently a Valle and is improving his training. Gau is so impressed by Elle's fighting skill, and the stories of Kuruda's greatest fighter Scarface, that he is studying Elle's fighting skills so that one day he would become the greatest Sevalle in Kuruda. But before that, they must face demon beasts, spies, and Elle's debts from drinking, and collateral damage from fighting.

Also in Elle and Gau's life is Faury Maya (Folli Maya in the TV series), a Sui Rame talisman sorceress, and Kyou Ryu, a Septia beastcatcher and niece of Iba Stora, the king of Kuruda.

Well, if you had asked me a while ago, I might have taken it into consideration. However, since I've already joined deadbeat-scans, and devote about 40% of my time to translate Shibatora/capeta. Then there's samurai Usagi and code breaker, then toriko. Now that probably leaves me 10% free time. Which I want to do something more interesting than plain translation.

Well, here's a question for those who care enough to help me out:

What's the requirement in order to have a sub-forum in the English Trans vault? that way I don't have to go search in the archive...

[animalia]

thanks anyways

Hi Caesarpk!
You have to have at least 5 translations in order to have a sub-forum, and here's yours! Hope to see you trying out new series in future.

[caesarpk]

Thank you! Yei, my own forum! *feeling a surge to work harder...

[Da-manta-ray]

Hi there!!

Do you watch any dramas?

Have you ever read Peace Maker (Minagawa Ryouji)?

[caesarpk]

Heard of it. Isn't it about some guy who's amazing at using guns? My scan group is doing it with domo-scans, I think. never read it though

dramas? you mean those in japan? well, I'm planning to watch rookies and shibatora dramas, but no other since I don't know any
