1)Captain Rock is trapped in dimension by Oden wife, what if Kaido is a loyal servant of Captain Rock. in wano, waiting for captain Rock, find a way to open up the dimension gate freeing Captain Rock. Kaido have grudge with whitebeard because betrayal in God Village war.

2)Captain Rock hidden in blackbeard body after defeated by garp and roger.

Thats a cool idea, do you think Oden was already part of whitebeards crew at the time? He would have been old enough so it could be.

Lady Toki may be the connection, she could have come from far in the past and been connected with Rocks before meeting Oden. They never said Rocks was dead and he seemed too strong even for Garp and Roger. I wonder what happened to her..

The thing is, another active villain of that scale seems too much. We had an entire Big Mom arc, I think the second or third longest in the story and it didn't end with her defeat. Now we have Kaido arc, and it also looks like it will be one of the longest arcs.
In-universe the requirements to even compete with these people is huge. Luffy has to gather the largest force ever available to him to even get a chance, and with Big Mom and Kaido teaming up it still looks dire.
Then we have Blackbeard, Weevil, the Admirals, Sakazuki, Mihawk (for Zoro) and Imu. All of these need to be dealt with in a convincing way. Blackbeard and Imu are clearly the arch-villains in this story and two of those is already a lot, most stories feature only a singular group of arch-villains, but here we already have two, that are also opposed to each other. A third one would blow it up. Dynamics are great, but they should never change the core narrative of the story, that's confusion.

Via the facts presented this chapter, we can already guess that Blackbeard is this generation's Rocks.

Luffy inheritred Xebec D Rocks Will. The abilitly to make allies is from Rocks. He also attacked the Celestial Dragons like Luffy.

Luffy wanting to beat all the emperors is Rocks like Conquering

All Luffy's actions are like Rocks more than Roger even.

Luffy inherited Rogers will to be the most free on the see.

Luffy is like Garp in some actions.

Luffy like Oden is on his voyage to become Pirate King at the same age as oden 19.

Oden became Damaiyo at age 20.
Luffy will become PK when he turns 20.

Luffy has CoC and Voat like Oden.

Luffy is like Dragon this has been said a couple of times, its just that unlike Dragon who openly fights for the worlds freedom, Luffy is challenging the world for his own freedom because he is pirate.

You shouldnt try to look into who is like who, this is not Naruto where characters are a copy of others from history.

Blackbeard Pirates old ship was named Saber of Xebec and they estabilished themselves in the Pirate Island Beehive.

There are a lot of parallels that this recent ch957 has drawn and most obvious is between Blackbeard and Rocks. A lot of it is vague so I won't be throwing around any theories or opinions that he could be his son but it can definitely be said that it was someone he at least admired; seeing as he named his flagship the Saber of Xebec.

Luffy doesn't want to be King of the world so how he inherent his will? While BB ultimate goal is to be king of the world and the PK title is a means to that end.

?? Looks more like Caesar or Blackbeard than Dragon. Wouldn't be surprised if Rocks did have Ope Ope no mi, or someone else did, and it was used on him to get another body, which would be Blackbeard's.

I don't know about Xebec having the Yami Yami Fruit, but I do think Teach is following in Xebec's footsteps and that they are related somehow.

Personally, I think Teach chose the Yami Yami Fruit to further whatever plan he has. He's looking for sheer destructive power it seems. I think there is a reason for that.

There is a reason why Rocks was at the Valley of the Gods or... God's Valley. Something the Celestial Dragons are hiding. If Blackbeard is the Rocks of this era, he may be seeking that place too to find whatever is there. And he will find Luffy to fight there.

Can't Blackbeard be Blackbeard? Sorry but it sounds like terrible writing if the main villain you built up for around 700 chapter turns out to be someone you just introduced in the very final stages of the story.

Like didn't we have this in Naruto? Madara exploding into a moon rabbit was not very well received if I recall correctly...

She probably hid them away somewhere with Streusen. Seems like the kids had to band together to survive and not get made fun of and bullied even though their mom was a powerful pirate based on Katakuri's flashback. So that probably means that their relation to big mom was kept hidden probably to protect them. Although if it got to the point that they got bullied then Streusen wasn't very good at overseeing them in the first place if they were placed in his care.
