lol, i actually am a member of zarosaki, but i only did one page beose i dont like zarosaki's ways. they say that they're gonna be coloring the manga like the anime but no one was as near as that, i was coloring more like angel's manga type coloring, but now, ull see that every page is diff and splash with orignality, which doesnt work as an overall piece....

Oh my god...I though this was repeated over and over again ages ago....
We tried anime style first. 99% of the colorers got demotivated by having to do a single style of cell-shading forced on them. Having people that is demotivated is a no-go. Also, evn if everyone cell-shaded, it still wouldn't "work as a overall piece" because people will always color differently anyway. So we stick to having same colors froma palette and making sure the lightning is about the same. Also, if you want anime-style, watch the anime. Soft shading is so much better than cell-shading anyday.

actually, i think it will work as an overall, remember you have color palletes, now, every1 just pics random colors.
also, if there are thesame colors, same way to cell shade (basically kow wat cell shade is i.e. NO SMUDGE OR BLUR)

Why should we settle for anime-style? I bet no one would be interested in reading it twice just for the colors. It works for anime only because you have the sounds & animation. Not when you're talking about manga. But if the colors are nice, it is more likely for people to recheck the chapter more then once. I admit, we have a problem with the consistency. It annoys the shit out of me to have styles changing. Hence, I've told people for months now to color a scene instead of random pages. But we're so low on members, forcing them to color pages they don't want, is always a risk. (justaskbatanga :cry)

However, in the future we'll have some nice chapters colored with one person only. Not cellshading, but it should keep even you happy for a while. Thankyou.

looks like chocolate.

the wook is too dark. the best and shortes thing i could say is think like life. the detail. like in the fore head protector, add some white for a more realistic metallic look, same for the cloths and shading, visualize a light source and then use lighter and darker colors where you think the highlights and shadows would be in life.
