i meant to do ch28 pg01 where Naruto first released his kyuubi..but, many poeple already colored the kyuubi page..i think i just skip that..but, Kabuto would be good too... since this chapter(296) is the last scence we will see with Kabuto..i'm guessing..then why not Kabuto....we will not see Kabuto for a while later..

I think out of the three Shikamaru covers so far, I'd have to say clarity gets my vote as the best one so far. Nice job all, though!

And ff7799, you used some really cool effects for your picture, but what's up with his chuunin vest? ( i mean the white/greyish parts close to the lineart... where they that color on purpose? And i myself prefer the chuunin vest to be a lot darker in color... ) nice one though!!

And clarity142, the way you coloured those clouds is so cool!! but perhaps you could have coloured the tears coming from his eyes? some light blue impression to show them a little more clearly?

read tutorials and practice.. ^^
but im impressed with the effects, who knew you could create such beautiful sunrays

btw, your first time is soooooooo much better than mine.. try using the pain can in MsPaint..

tips:
lens flare can be rendered with photoshop.
duplicate lineart layer, multiply, then hide the original layer (this way, you color underneath the lines, not over.)
if clouds are too hard to color, remove them and render.

Well, the colours are way to light in my opinion, so it looks like the picture is black&white if you don't look carefully...
And did you shade it al all, apart from between his fingers...?

Though my try at colouring this cover ( only one i ever did ) was waaaaaaaaaay worse...

funny..i've already am with the Zarosaki..:P but, i guess nobody knows yet because my page didn't come out yet..and you might don't know it either some people up here whose contribute also from Zarosaki..hehe..:P

Nice. I like the clouds and the sky. It's just that maybe with the yellow and orangish sky, you can add a bit of yellow to the shading of the vest and the blue shirt?

This is really bright. Do you do the crack in the vest deliberately? I like the sky though. It still lacks shading. You can do better.

Lack shading too. You got the basic colour down right but you need to shade them as well. *points to Khal.'s sig*
