Ending? I'm not talking about an ending. I'm talking about a regular OST.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen a wall of text from you on MH (besides Mafia Game) xD

hey...he's comfortable with himselfwtf that love confession from niichan!

Hmm maybe it's a bit too obvious sometimes, but in general I would say it's actually the better storytelling and feels way more realistic. It just makes now sense about what characters think while fighting a battle to the death, especially if you could die any second or with one touch alone. You're only focused on the fight and surviving, feels more like we're way too spoiled by protagonists thinking of various things while fighting. The Narrator also helps about explaining things the character itself might not be aware of.Man I got to say the attack at the Palace is being kind of ruined to me. The pace is like DBZ/One Piece level, if not slower. Time flows unnaturally slow, the worst example being Knuckle and Shoot vs the red guy, where Shoot fights for minutes and only 10 seconds pass >.> That's just so bad IMO every time I see such things in manga and anime. It gets even worse in anime because they drag out scenes and thus make the time even more dumb. On top of that progression is very minimal in single episodes. You cut to Gon/Killua walking into the damn building like 3 times without anything happening. Just slow motion walking, and focus on Gon's "stern attitude" which we have been shown with complete overkill proportions. I get it, he's mad, he's decided what to do. I don't need to see it 100 times. Too much slow motion everywhere. Too much narration which ruins scenes to me. It's a really cheap storytelling method to make up for lack of storytelling from the characters themselves. I really don't get it because HxH has been SUPERB at this before this attack. Narration was used to a minimum, but used well, now the episodes are heavily filled with the Narrator explaining/talking, if not majority of the "talking" is narration. The vast majority of narration could be explained through the characters' thoughts (monologue), which is way more impactful, and is what HxH has been doing for the majority of the time up until now. The change is so weird to me. Like damn, I can interpret some things myself. I don't need to be spoonfed that wolf guy found it suspicious that "Flutter" came right after Killua killed two ant soldiers. All you need is a little "?!" by him and him thinking "he came too fast..." or something simple like that. Man this storytelling method in this attack and the pace, heavy slow motion usage and constant cutting between scenes without there being much progress, if not any at all is really killing it for me...

OK back to normal with 116, I'm happy for that. Spectacular episode, the hype build up xD The previous attack episodes were not very good IMO besides the one that focused on Netero's arrival, that one was fucking badass and awesome.
