Maybe someone posted it already but a friend shared with me today:

Is it really that crazy to think Enel might make his return in post-Onigashima? I think there's been teases, rather than foreshadowing.

• He appeared in a color page on finding Waldo in Onigashima, and while I certainly don't take stuff that like into serious consideration... why now?
• We had that cliffhanger with the scabbards and the person who healed them... Obviously it wasn't him, but I'm sure Oda knew it'd spark some wild theories given that portrayal. He seems mischievious enough to do that, only to introduce him later on when people had forgotten about him.
• Nami mentioning stronger lightning, people going nuts, and giving her Zeus to subvert expectations...
• Probably the most reasonable argument: this arc is centered around the moon and we're probably going to learn something of great importance about that side of the story. We had the waning, the waxing and the full moon in display. It'd make sense for him to show up in such a scenario, if he's ever to make an appearance.
• If Wano is Thriller Bark in some ways, up next we had Sabaody, and it started with reuniting with an old enemy, in Hacchi, the fishman. Perhaps a flip on that would be reuniting with an old enemy, a sky inhabitant. Considering the amount of threats left, the SHs might need some help.

Actually, if this is the crazy theory thread, where we're allowed to go crazy, why not add the lunar eclipse in Blackbeard, Weevil representing Whitebeard and the spear, and perhaps even Vegapunk is aboard the WG ships. Oda said Wano would be the biggest war so far, so I'm counting on it.

That's a really great catch!

I really do believe that Oda has told us most of the One Piece story already, and it's all about finding it within the story itself. It's really hard to get all the pieces straight, or figuring out who's who in each given arc and then bridging that to the next one, and there are nuances and unexpected stuff along the way, but when looking across the whole of the story, there are panels that anticipate future events, specific wordings and expressions that have important implications, certain motifs that keep appearing and relate to certain characters, mythological equivalents, historical mentions and a lot of other stuff that go unnoticed.

I've done a bit of re-reading during covid, and I've been mindblown by the amount of references that we had in previous arcs that allowed for predictions on the more recent ones. It's still extremely hard to guess what's going to be the metaphorical equivalent coming next, but as hard as it is to piece that type of stuff together, it's even harder to get people to aknowledge that's a thing.

This deviated a bit from that picture in particular, but it's another example of stuff that would've been impossible to figure out when it first came out, but looking back on it now, it's unequivocally there.

Plottwist, Vegapunk is actually a Revolutionary and has been undercover this whole time. I think he is actually working for the WG against his will and if given the opportunity he would turn against them.

Kaido and BM will be out of the picture for a while, at least til the last war, where they'll show up and support Luffy and the Alliance. Not only them, but the remnants or Rocks Pirates.

In the meantime, the leftovers of Beast Pirates and Big Mom Pirates will "join" Luffy and the alliance as a crew that will not give them trouble or seek revenge, some might even create their own crews.

Batshit crazy prediction for Wano's ending based on the cycling nature of arcs and my interpretation on how some of the elements will be played around: Wano ends in tragedy for the Straw Hats, similar to Sabaody, and we go with a smaller crew to Elbaf while some stuff is sorted out in different places.

Big Mom, Kaidou or both make a comeback, and it takes a joint effort to finally defeat him/her/them. We get a lore dump via Oden's book/Zuneisha. After that:

- Zoro "dies" in the previous fight and comes back later in a subsequent arc where we visit hell, and he's now "king"
- The World Government shows up with Vegapunk or a proxy on board, and they reveal their new weapon. Sanji ends up being taken by them, either because Vegapunk takes an interest in him and he strikes a deal to save the crew, or they are repelled and Sanji "sacrifices" for Robin. (Vegapunk will also have some sort of connection to Xebecs)
- Blackbeard shows up and collects Big Mom and Kaidou's fruits. It all seems doomed, but Zuneisha/Shanks shows up as well and manages to drive him away. Chopper gets his fruit stolen and Robin gets taken by Aokiji, who now wants to learn the truth about the WG.

Blackbeard heads to Elbaf, and we follow him with a smaller crew.

Other parties that might show up and take part in this conflict: Weevil and Enel.

The light Imu wished to extinguish was the Neferteri succession line, putting Vivi in their sights. Sabo protected Vivi and they both faked their deaths and escaped, possibly with the aid of the enslaved Kuma, ending up in Wano.

Vivi will then join Luffy to become the final Straw Hat.

The SSG is a super massive war machine with the 3 coloured Adrimal DFs and can move around Kuma. It'll will beat either Mihawk or Weevil to show it's power and be known around world as the 4th Acinent Weapon.

I'd really like to know about what happened to Diamond Jozu.

If he didn't die/have his fruit stolen by Blackbeard, I think this new weapon developed by Vegapunk will have something to do with his fruit. When the pacifistas were first introduced, their hardness was the big focus, and how most characters couldn't harm them at the time. I'm inclined to think that a post-timeskip upgrade could be to double down on that and have them be as hard as diamonds.

I could also see it being related to giantification, since it's been talked about quite a lot in the second half of the series, and those Punk Hazard kids got sent to him in order to be taken care of. Perhaps he found a way to improve and complete what Caesar started, but it seems like too big of a discovery for such a short amount of time, since Punk Hazard happened like a few months ago within the story.

My bet is on the diamond thing, unless we find out he got his fruit stolen, and then giantification becomes the front runner.

Joyboy was the king of the D clan that lived in a certain kingdom that existed 900 years ago.

This kingdom was far more technologically advanced, but their existence was unknown to the rest of the world. They created the "weapon" Uranus to keep their existence a secret, which possess the power to erase the memories of everyone in the world, with exception of the D clan.

At some point, a person who lived in the kingdom named Imu stole Uranus, and used its power to manipulate the minds of the leaders of the 20 greatest nations and form the World Government.

With this influence, Imu also got in their hands Pluton and Poseidon. Pluton was used to destroy Joyboy's kingdom, and Poseidon to move the islands around the world, and form a continent that split the sea, known as Red Line.

The ruins of the Ancient Kingdom are at the end of the Grand Line, deep down into the ocean where no Log Pose can reach.

In this final island, Joyboy left a Poneglyph with a plan to undo all of Imu's actions: using Pluton to destroy the portion of the Red Line under Mary Geoise, and weakening the link between the islands; Poseidon to move the islands back to their position; and Uranus to erase the memories of everyone. Thus uniting all people and the ocean back into one piece.

Lastly, Pluton must also be used to destroy the walls that separate Wano from the rest of the ocean, meaning Wano has its own one piece.

I think the WG took the bodies of the old legendary pirates, and brought them back to "life" at their power when they died. This is what SSG is

Well, if memory serves correctly it was the Five Elder who were talking about it because Cobra requested a personal meeting and was likely to aks the wrong kind of questions.
Now, this could of course mean a potential wide array of assassins and some of them not flinching an eye because of something like that but it would still draw attention and thus leading to abort the mission simply because of the attention.
Damn, Oda really put this story aside for wayyy too long.
