Chelsea Girl - Tamura Yukari

Yukarin totally won my heart lately. She is just so darn cute, eternally seventeen years old goddess. The only reason I suddenly looked up Yukarin is because I just heard a certain episode of her radio show. She actually said people would rather her marry Mizuki Nana then a guy (also that Sugita should be with Nakamura and Kamiyan should be with OnoD). Oh she watched Junjou Romantica and said it was interesting. Her MC in animelo 2009 was awesome. Yukarin is a good seiyuu idol, her singing is pretty much top notch as far as moe seiyuus are (of course there are alot of singer seiyuus who sings miles better, but they're not moe...are they?). But she's actually *not* boring, Nana-chan's MCs or radio shows are incredibly boring...

The Dissappearence of Suzumiya Haruhi OST in general. It's close enough to be a j-song...right?

Series by KyoAni tend to have a weak OST, at least compared to the animation. The OST had a few tunes that was from the original series but with a new higher budget arrangement. 'Ano Hi no KioKu wo Oikakete' is probably my favourite track, possibly because I loved the respective scene in the movie. I like my orchestra OSTs.

Macross Frontier had a better OST, but then again that was by Yoko Kanno. I wonder did KyoAni actually asked her to work on the Haruhi OST? They did ask the director of Summer Wars/Girl who leapt through time to direct the movie.

I personally prefer Vanilla Salt. But I can't wait for Hocchan's Budokan live to be out, even if it's autotuned by King Records. You'll see what I mean if you hear Music Japan and Animelo version of Vanilla Salt or YAHHO.

Talking about Hocchan, her waifu, Tamura Yukari past two singles were pretty strong. Lately I am addicting to Tiny Rainbow, exactly how a moe moe song should sound like. You & Me is totally love, moe!Yukarin with gar!Motsu from m.o.v.e (they did alot of Initial D songs), the contrast is awesome.

I have heard songs from m.o.v.e. and I like them, they are very cool! And about vanilla salt, it was a nice song but I don’t know….it never managed to stay with me like Silky heart did.

All 4 opening and ending of Toradora are good. Orange definitely worked very well as an ending song. Pre-parade male version was very interesting...KugiRie (Taiga) can't sing...like always...lolz

I'm just biased with Vanilla Salt because I absolutely adore the manufactured idol dance that Hocchan did. The 'robotic' moves is so cute...

What's up with people suddenly listening to my otaku music? ;P

Supercell, or Ryo, who is the the guy who works on the music, is the most famous song writer for using Hatsune Miku as the vocals. Most famous songs includes Melt, World Is Mine, Black Rock Shooter and Love is War. The vocalist is credited as Nagi, who was known as Gizelle, is famous for doing covers of Ryo's famous songs. I became a fan of supercell after hearing her fandub of Melt, before that I had no interest in Vocaloid music.

Sayonara Memories is Supercell 2nd major single. I prefer their first single, but I think that's due to Bakemonogatari. The last TV broadcast episode merged so well with Kimi no Shira nai Monogatari, Ryo actually written the lyrics to match with Bakemonogatari. But yes, Kimi no Shira nai Monogatari was my favourite song from 2009 for sure.

I never thought Nagi sounded like Nakajima, but Nagi sounds alot better with the major release then her own fandubs. Nakajima has a lack of stamina and range.

Who knows. I just know that Kawada fail with live singing, it's idol quality. I have the same headphones as her weirdly...

Lia and KOTOKO are decent (as far as I heard from I've), I mean just decent.

I knew the seiyuus for the K-on girls had to learn the play the instruments, Mio's seiyuu had to learn the bass with her LEFT hand. I heard them playing intruments and singing at the same time for some sort of event (it was played during K-on radio show), of course it was pretty bad, since the seiyuu only picked up the instruments for a maxium of 6 months back then.

They recently released a special version of Fuwa Fuwa Time and My Love is a Stapler, which is a studio recording of the seiyuus playing the instruments along with the vocals (they probably have about a year and a half learning to play the instruments). Being a seiyuu fag myself, this is moe over the top. If Houkago Tea time was real, this would probably what they would sound like. Minus the sound engineering and autotuning of the vocals (they probably can tweek the instruments too). I found these version a joy to listen to, probably because it sounded like a realistic high school girl band. We're not going to get bands like Scandal (cute girls who can play instruments AND sing).

Not my favourite song but I've been listening to it a lot. It just won the award of single of the year in japan wich is impressive because is the first time in 20 years that a foreigner artist won this award.
