I can't wait for the discussions to start, i want to hear everyone's opinions. This list is so hard to make, i'm sure i'll be surprised and convinced by a lot of things i'm considering weird for now.

Technically Avatar should be the strongest even though their performance was the worst.But they faced FT members after timeskip,so it's natural that they will be get one-sided destruction.If it was Tartaros they might have got even worse.So if someone says Ikusa>Mard i won't have any counter.

I don't think Avatar should necessarily be stronger than Tartaros. They got introduced after, but that doesn't mean they must be stronger than previous villains. Especially considering that Mard Geer was an incredible enemy to face, whereas all of Avatar guys were complete fodders.

But they facing post 1 yr timeskip FT members.Suppose current arc Team Natsu members had faced 9DG.Suppose Mard Geer had faced Current Natsu.Would the result have been any different from Avatar members?I don't think so.

Impressive against "pre-time skip FT".That is the main point.Pit them against our current lot and see how they get one-shotted.

And another point Ikusa was most dangerous of them.That's why Mary and others got scared when he was summoned.Mary's magic and Ikusa was something to be noteworthy.

For the Mard vs Hades topic,I think Hades is stronger with his heart because it was stated Grimoire heart was the most powerful guild of the Balam Alliance i think
For the power of Avatar, i dont think they are stronger, Arlock was not that young and he needed to wait for the other guild to be gone to do his stuff, furthermore, Natsu was way more serious against Bluenote than against those Avatar guys, so imo they are not stronger

Yeah what natsulucy is saying is you have to account for the power scaling pre-FT disbanding. While Avatar seemed fodder, and they were mostly, they faced a way more op crowd than the Nine Demon Gates did. At the same time there are still individuals that I would take over any Avatar member who are clearly stronger than the members on their own like Mard Geer, Kyoka, Jackal, Seilah depending on how strong her Macro can affect someone. When it comes to the story nobody is debating Tartaros was way more impressive.

I fully understand that Avatar faced team Natsu after a one year timeskip, but we can't just assume any character who is introduced after the timeskip is stronger than every character from before the timeskip.
One Avatar member was only using Kain's puppet, that's a Grimoire Heart tenrou Island level character.
If at least Avatar guys had shown impressive things, i would have agreed that they are stronger, but all of them were fodders.
The only exception could be Arlock, and maybe Mary. The rest is garbage and didn't show anything worth giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I mean Avatar have members with lame magic.
Abel - Like Kain but he is weaker.
Brair - Kage bunshin no jutsu - Boruto lvl
D-6 - we dont know what magic he use,
Goumon - torture magic (Kyoka is better)
Jermoe - who?
Mary - Virus is very hax,
And Tartaros members all have a really strong Curse.

@Asorx I thought Mary had really good hax as well. She was the only deadly one besides Arlock.
