His ablity was prety hax especialy if somebody could help him geting hairs of other... Also he can transfrom his body into any substance wool iron even somethinh as abstract as light endless posibilities. I know he is werido but when angry he also pretty scary... Almost win agnist Natsu and Lucy[i my eyes he got beter chances than Jacob]ugf for sure beter than Jeroderpome. WHY CAIN COME ON!!! He not only has hax but also power... I see that no one respect that. Also can he use hair from eyebrows? Then not even Jura is imune tu his power[or other bald person ]

Jerome fought Erza, while Mary lost to a team of Lucy and Wendy. Erza>Wendy + Lucy. That alone is enough to put Jerome as the second strongest member of Avatar right behind Arlock. Plus his hax is legit deadlier than Mary's.....a ROTTING sword?! That's like legit necrosis on a weapon, even Erza herself had to maintain her distance when fighting him.

Well if not for Wendy's Enchantments there Mary's Virus Magic could be used on the FT Mages Brains or their Hearts even and kill them Instantly if used correctly.
I mean sure we never saw her do it but she claimed it and well yeah i dont like it either but that's how it is.
Jerome however just had his Sword going for him basically just his Swordsmanship with that Cursed Sword and no other Magic at all,and while Erza did have to maintain her Distance she also made Pretty Quick work of him,i think Lucy or Wendy could've beaten him too at that Point since both have Long Range Spells at their Disposal.
Could be just me though.

Anyway, i don't understand why Bluenote is being trashed that much in this thread. He was top tier in Tenrou, and is still pretty good compared to the rest of the participants. I'd say he's most definitely in the top 10 at least.

Mary's hax was gonna kill current Lucy. Current Lucy >= Wendy and Wendy oneshotted a 9D while half dead. How the heck did Mary not make the top 10? How did Mary not beat out Jerome, most of the 7kin, most of the 9D, and the entirety of OS??? I call shenanigans!

Sorano, the elder sister of Yukino Agria, is a mage who was separated from her sister at a young age and was forced to slave in the Tower of Heaven. Praying that she could someday fade like an angel, she was chosen by Brain to become one of the Oracion Seis, obtaining the code name Angel. Originally a Celestial Spirit mage, she would ruthlessly wipe out other Celestial mages to steal their keys, showing no regard to her own spirits, even going as far as to make Aries and Leo fight. However, after being defeated by Lucy Heartfilia and losing her keys, she learned Angel Magic. Aptly named, this magic allows Sorano to summon different types of angles to attack her foes. It should be noted that a nameless summon was able to briefly down a mage of Jellal's caliber.

Also, why did Mary get out before Jerome? What is so special about Jerome? All he has is a moderately op sword! I think Mary is much more dangerous than him. As well as Kain.

As mentioned above, Jerome was an elite dark mage in the Avatar group, and like his guild mates, he wielded a form of Black Magic. However, unlike his guild mates, his magic was a Holder-type Magic, using a weapon known as the Dark Sword. This sword holds dark magic within it, and rots anything it touches. Whilst powerful, this limitation does leave Jerome vulnerable to ranged attacks, as shown when Erza defeated him by utilizing a sword that can land blows without making direct contact. Ultimately, I do think that Jerome should have gone out before Mary, mainly due to the range advantage.

The Gods of Ishgar at least managed to push Serena to the Point where he had to use several DS Magics of his.
Not sure if Jerome did much other then a Few Slashes at Erza after which he got his A** handed to him quite quickly and that too with just a Slash from Erza.
The GOI at least put some sort of Fight up before they got pwned by Serena afterwards,i mean even Jacob was about to jump in for a Moment(Yes i know another Fodder 12 Member lmao.)
Anyway Point is Jerome did fight Erza but at that Point Hiro wasn't completely shitting on his Manga so i give it the Benefit of a doubt that he would've gone and pit Erza against Acnologia in the Avatar Arc since he wasn't sure for most of the Manga what kind of Attribute Acnologia really has imo.
