Yeah Vergo-sans' finger-gun is quite lethal. I was thinking his defense was a combination of his beast-haki and some sort of tekkai.

Hmm, Kami-e and Tekkai are both inferior to haki. Using Tekkai, once cannot move except in the case of Jabra. With the sort of skill like Vergo, he may as well tank attack while counter attack attack at the same time instead of dodging like Kami-e.

As Devil Fruit goes, Foxy's fruit can be hax if some one more powerful using it. I meant if any of the top tier get a free hit in. It could very well determine the match.

i think luffy will hold on to the mera mera no mi as something "sacred" much in the same way goku cherished the 4 star dragonball.
Besides, i dont see any of the current straw hats desiring it. zoro wouldnt take it out of sheer pride. sanji spends too much time bailing everyone else out of the water (literally), though i see him benefiting from its power, to be interested in its power. nami and usopp have fighting styles that would waste its power. and Franky is a mother fucking cyborg

I have to disagree strongly with this. This is absurd dude, but I won't flame you.
Ace had his Fruit for UNDER THREE years.
Aokiji had his for what we can confirm is over 2 decades.
Ace went up against Aokiji and was still able to comfortably escape.
And you want to say something as crazy as Ace wasted his Fruit?

Ace had his Fruit for UNDER THREE years.
Aokiji had his for what we can confirm is over 2 decades.
Ace went up against Aokiji and was still able to comfortably escape.

On topic yes I also agree the bomu bomu fruit was a waste at the early stages of the story it was shown, I would LOVE to see it on a stronger person, like if White Beard was the one to have had it, it would have been a similar story of amazing destruction done to MarineFord alone...

Kilo fruit as well, wish those 2 had more strength in them, like to return again later in the story stronger than ever or something, but I dunno if we'd see them again.

I believe people are maybe not understanding the title of the thread.
The OP post was describing Fruits that the character wasted. Not fruits that Oda wasted.

Either way... Neither Oda nor Enel wasted the Goro Goro no Mi...
There's still the hugely likely possibility that he is going to rejoin the main storyline.

And in the context of my post, most of Ace's adventures would basically be filler to one piece, now if oda had plans to tell the story of ace, that would be different. but ace is dead. the story is moving forward. The bottom line, in crystal clear terms, is:: It would be cool if toei gave us a filler story that revolved around ace, that was authorized by oda.

You misunderstood, when I say do you trust anime studios, I was asking, do you think that it would be any good?
Fillers in one piece don't happen too often or for too long since the anime studios instead stretch the chapters along the episodes more.

But there are some filler arcs which just... Well suck.
But I get what you're saying, if authorized by Oda then it could be truly awesome.

I am truly interested at the extent of the Ato Ato no Mi's power. I mean, do you think it's limited only to 2-D art styles? Or can it do sculptures as well? Can she increase her own strength by mimicking the physique of those used in Classical Art? For that matter is it even limited to "formal" art? Can it do something with music as well? Or writings? Could it be used to improve things as well?

Another recent one is the Jake Jake no Mi. A person who could easily adapt and has a multitude of fighting styles would greatly benefit from this fruit. And it could apparently be forced on things since Kelly Funk said he could even control animals. It would be beneficial in group fights as the user could possibly jump from opponent to opponent while the wearer takes the hits.

To be honest I don't really see the use of the jacket fruit just yet. In the tournament it only gave the illusion of being useful IMO however in most situations the use it was given would not even work. The fruit created the illusion of usefulness because it gave a strong body to a relatively weak guy thus creating the illusion of synergy. However for anyone relevant what would be the use of the jacket fruit? It only works for the weaker guy a strong body however the strong guy would at large no really benefit from it. If the fruit combined the strength of two people it would be more interesting but so far it only seems to give the user of the fruit control over someone else. I guess that if the user of the fruit is strong, has his unique abilities and combines himself with someone who is also strong and has unique abilities then the fruit could be useful however that is not an scenario we have seen just yet.
