Law's ability is unique. His ability isn't any more hax than most DF introduced during Grand Line, it's just fancier and more complicated. Gekko Moriah's was even more hax. Some logia too, especially Ace and Kuzan's.

i get your point about it being too hax but i still think oda can use some trick to compensate for making such an over powered fruit.just like law's,a time limit on using the copied fruit can work in my opinion.in the absence of a fruit user(within an aoe),the ability can be useless as well.maybe more tricks like these can be made up. anyways,i would love to see this kind of fruit in a filler at least.

Wasted Devil Fruits

It's been 747 chapters as of today, there's been tons of devil fruits.

However, I feel some are really wasted on people....

In the order from present to the past.

Baby 5-cmon. weapons. Who's to say what her limit were? Yet defeated so easily.
Monet- Similar to aokiji... CMON ODA
Caesar- A logia, yes he was the main antagonist for an arc, but I feel he was too weak to be easily defeated by a single hit of haki. If it was given to say... the unamed admiral, it would've been used so much better.
Captain Shu- pretty self explanatory. Rusting is unbelievable
Enel- Possibly my favorite/strongest in my opinion logia there is. Would be a wonderful opponent for Zoro or anyone after the time skip.
and basically every baroque work agent. especially Mr.5 and his partner. (Except ms Merry Christmas... she was ugh)

Who do you guys think fruits are wasted?

Is the Goro-goro no mi wasted on Enel? I really don't think so.
Luffy winning against Enel was Oda's doing.

putting him against luffy just seem lazy, it was too easy of a fight, seeing him against zoro or franky or nami would've been much more interesting

The Goro Goro no mi wasted on Enel? I don't think so.Sure Luffy is immune, but Enel still gave him a hard time with his trident. But I do find it weird that Crocodile's weakness is water. I really think it's a shame, since he has one of the best DF out there, or would be if it weren't for that weakness.Its power is quite frighening and yet it has such a obvious weakness. I think Oda just wanted to make things easier for Luffy by making a logia tangible in a way.

I agree that sometimes DF seem to fall quite short of their potential, but I don't agree with the actual list. Monet and Ceasar were necessary, much like Caribou, to show that simply being a logia wasn't enough in the New World. And even so, both were reasonably powerful opponents. I can't imagine why Enel is on this list, he was a monster. And Shu seems like a rather random addition. When I think of a DF wasted on its user, Foxy's Noro no Mi comes straight to mind.

When I look over the paramecia users, it's easy to see flaws in how some like Foxy used his fruit or as everyone seems to say Mr. 5 (what an epic waste). Jora, despite having a gimmicky power, was only defeated by idiocy too, so her power was wasted. Even Sugar, whose power is simply broken beyond all reason was defeated due to something goofy (though hilarious). Another one that bothers me too is Miss Valentine not because she was a waste but because she was replaced by someone with a much less interesting fruit: Machvice. She could control her weight both ways which was very useful, but Machvice can pretty much only make himself heavy and attack exactly the same way as her. He even uses his with better teamwork due to Senor Pink's interference so it further makes Miss Valentine seem unfairly inferior.

Also, I can't say that any zoan users were a waste since if anything it seems like zoans that we've seen have been capable of things beyond what their basic fruit would give them. Most logias except Caesar who has arguably one of the most dangerous fruits to date, have been used pretty well too so no complaints there. Personally I'd have given Enel the light fruit instead of Kizaru if you want a truly "godlike" persona and not just one based on Zeus, but clearly Luffy needed to be able to defeat him so making him a light user that early in the story would have been too much of stretch for Luffy to beat.

Hi, welcome to this thread. It's simple. What is, in your opinion, the most powerful DF.
1-In this thread we will not count the Gol D. Roger the 'hearing of everything' as a DF. (because we don't know)
2-It's based on the elements in real world as they found naturally. This does not apply on fruit like Nikyu Nikyu no Mi : Bartholomew Kuma.
Example: Fire has no limits to the heat.(no maximum degree)
3- Haki can be applied for both sides with the same amount but you gotta do the whole list accordingly. Meaning, example, "in this list the haki will be applied for DF" and then u list them.
4- The DF must be named in OP, you can't list DF that is not named. Like Kid's DF.
5- You can go as high as you want top 10, top 50, or top 9999 whatever you want.


#After some time, this thread will be analysed and I'll produce A video in the name of Mangahelper after I get the approval from the moderator(S). in case they do not agree the video will still be produced. However, it wont be in the name of MH.

You actually mentioned the character when you said the fruit would suck in the wrong hands.

The yami yami no mi and guro guro no mi are probably the most powerful fruit, with one being able to destroy the world and the other being able to suck in anything and negate devil fruit abilities. I don't think it can really be a matter of debate, other than guro guro vs. yami yami.

Devil fruits can't do anything on their own so the user is required. I thought the thread is about the fruits that are strong without regard to their user. Yami yami has some drawbacks, as we've seen. Not being able to avoid attacks, experiencing hightened sense of pain, drawing opponents toward yourself. That's why Yami yami is not so scary if it's possesed by someone with bad consitution. Gura gura is scary yes, but we come across the user vulnerability territory again.

If it were real life, I'd bet more on intangible logia.

We thought right, but I guess the thread creator thought mentioning Blackbeard as why yami yami no mi is as good as it is was against the rule he made. You could discuss devil fruit in itself though, like imagine the users are the same? I dunno.

True, but yaim yami still seems to be dangerous under the right hand, probably the most powerful fruit next to gura gura no mi. If someone like Akainu had yami yami no mi, he'd be overpowered.

User vulnerability? What vulnerability? I thought anyone could use the gura gura no mi effortlessly, unliek yami yami no mi?

Use it yes, but don't tell me you think Helmeppo, for example, would be as threatening as Whitebeard with it. Point is, the user can still be killed and it's a lot easier if he can't take hundreds of bullets and shit like WB did.

I'm leaning towards either lightning logia or to fire logia. Fire because SheeDeD mentioned there would be no limit to the heat. Lightings can heat air up to 30,000 degrees Celsius and white and blue flames can reach almost 5,000 degrees. You'd be unstoppable in real world, where there is no seastone or Haki. Which is more than we can say about any paramecia.

Moku moku is only worthwhile against people without haki, it does very little beyond intangibility. Ceasar's is pretty much strictly better.
I'm also underwhelmed by yami yami. It was impressive back when it was the first way to ever hit a logia user, but now that haki is around I'd expect more from it than that and haven't seen it yet.

1. Nikyu nikyu (teleportation, light speed projectiles, devastating explosions and basically a one-hit KO make it ridiculous; repelling pain and exhaustion makes it downright silly)
2. Gura gura (the power to destroy the world)
3. Ito ito (puppeteering, paralyzation, extreme (and long range) power, flying, cloning... did I miss anything?)
4. Pika pika (have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?)
5. Goro goro (restarting your own heart is pretty handy)
6. Magu magu (basically turns the battlefield into hell)
7. Horo horo (most people were pretty helpless against it, and you can hide your body to remove any weakness)
8. Hobi hobi (another one-hit KO but without teleporting it isn't as easy to connect with)
9 -> a parade of logia fruits with mera mera and hie hie near the top


I think Noro noro belongs here, but it does require the user to not be completely useless so I'm not certain it qualifies. I would have put Marco at 4 (can you even beat him without seastone?) but it isn't named. I think Pica and Issho have potential to fit in there but we'll have to see how well they do.
