Yes, that moment is a Nea's fragment of memory showing Mana apologizing him years ago because what happened. Allen has not to change to Nea to see "things", remember the shadow?

Now that you mention it, it does seem to be likely that it indeed is just a fragment of Neah's memory:/

Btw, how do you think Cross got to meet Neah? And why do you think despite being a supporter of the 14th, did he tell Allen that he has his own freedom of choice as to what path he should take??

Neah went to Cross (to ask him for help), and Cross didnt want, but finally he does help, but he had his benefits, he gave his debts to Neah and got important information, like a covenant, he is one of the characters that most knows (he, Road and Bookman), apart of the Noah and Nea

In consideration of that, do you guys believe the manga will successfully resolve the many mysteries circulating the characters?

I don't know Apo's final goal, but I'm pretty sure it did explain it wants to sync (not merge) with Allen by merging with Crown Clown. It is confusing to read at first and even Allen was confused-- he thought Apo was talking to him but I think it was speaking generally about being united with both Allen and CC at the time. Apo is very focused on Innocence. It talks to CC at times without bothering to explain anything to Allen (ch 203-204-ish), and even calls Kanda "Mugen's user" instead of using his name. (Actually come to think of it, it might not even know Kanda's name or who he is, considering it didn't realize Kanda could get his memory back after it was erased.) Apo even thinks that what it's doing is going to "save" Allen-- I don't think the initial appeal it made to Link at the end of chapter 202 was a lie. Allen really was probably going to fall into a deep sleep and become the Fourteenth at that point, if Apo hadn't interfered, ironically. (I also think Apo is probably right that Timcanpy's companionship helped Allen to hang on for as long as he did.) Anyway I suppose it's just important to all Innocence (Apo included) to have active Accommodators, so they don't want to needlessly sacrifice Allen (a willing and highly-dedicated Exorcist) to get rid of one Noah.

BTW I just love the conflict/contrast in what each of the characters surrounding Allen is doing right now:
1. Johnny attempting to support him any way he can
2. Apocryphos trying to merge with CC to "save" him in its own sinister way
3. Deranged Earl alternately attempting to kill him and appeal to him
4. Kanda prepared to kill him along with the Fourteenth, yet at the same time actually protecting his life from both The Fourteenth and Link
5. Link is supposed to get hold of the Fourteenth so his boss can ally/negotiate with him, yet he's had plenty of cognitive dissonance over his role at the Order (I think the farthest this would go is if it looks to them at some point like The Fourteenth is back for good, Link will be the one to stop Kanda from killing Allen)

6. Crown Clown is *actively* helping Apocryphos by signalling where Allen is. Apo said that CC was on its side, and I believe that too.

I believe it's connected with how more twisted the souls inside look when the akumas evolve to higher level. The Order doesn't care about the soul inside, so of course they would neglect it.

What is the Noahs plan?

Isn't it just "Hunt down the Heart" and destroy the world to revenge God? They just have another motive for 14th recently. The Noahs's goals has always been simple as that so no matter what they did, it's aimed for the Heart and 14th.

For now, it's said that it wants to protect Allen. How, I seriously don't want to know.

To protect him from the 14th somehow. The horror thing is, what he already did is effective, at least for the time being.

I would want the cliche ending (the earl loses,allen survives marries lenalee or somebody else grows old and and blah blah blah) because come on guys after everything he's been through and still going through he deserves an ending like that more than any other manga and/or anime protagonist
