I found on youtube some videos about the show and the dynamic is quite simple, they invite an especial guest, give an introduction about the manga, make little quiz games, some of the hosts do cosplay, etc.

thanks for the videos, I have watched the first part n it looks interesting. but what are they gonna do with DGM. DGM itself is kinda dark so there's no way to make it funny in the show. While the show seems to be informative so Im looking forward to seeing what it will be.

Speaking of the new theatre ver of DGM, if it will come out soon, the cover of Akamaru Jump should have shown the news. so....I lower my expectation now lol

The website has confirmed "theatre ver" is a mistype. My friend cropped the pic but I still see the word in the website, is it becoz of my internet setting??
According to the new spoiler from this week, the TV program will show how the manga is done from drafting to painting, plus her special talents (editt just adding backgrounds)

Thanks for the update! I knew that there was something odd about "Theater Ver.". Even though there won't be a DGM movie or OVA coming out, I am still excited to see how DGM is made.

Maybe the show will also announce when DGM will come out of hiatus too. *cross fingers*

I think it's perfectly planned, not only will a new chapter be released after the show, but it will introduce DGM to non-readers as well. Good strategy. :

The show is really cute, but I'm wondering what they'll change in the show to convey the storyline. Maybe they'll try to perform an exorcism? :P

Just wanted to drop in a reminder that the DGM JanBang episode is tomorrow!

14th August (Friday), 6:00 ~ 6:30PM Tokyo time on the TV Tokyo channel.

I'm planning on watching it live using KeyholeTV though the video would be kinda jerky.

I missed it. I can't believe I missed it.

I hope it does turn up on youtube soon, but from the upload times I've seen on the other JyanBANG youtube videos, it can take around 1-8 days after the original broadcast or it might not even get uploaded at all since the last episode on yt was the one six episodes ago.

Unfortunately, I haven't found any videos yet and it will probably be a long time until someone uploaded.

I believed 2ch has posted some information on what happened in the episode, but I'm not quite sure.

Can anyone summarize what the show has shown?? I think I only get the part that DGM manga on Akamaru 17/8 part based on the pics provided by riki.

And I think the contents of the show was what had been said earlier (somewhere, I think).

Something like them giving an overview of the storyline, introducing the fight against the exorcists and the Earl, one tiny bit on how the cover for the new chapter (the one with Allen and Kanda sitting on the floor with lots of graffiti on the wall) was drawn. They talked about the date of return for the manga, and they showed the exorcists' uniforms!! They had the entire set of Allen's uniform and the latest set of uniforms for Kanda, Lenalee and Lavi. I mean, the one with the red lining. And it was quite funny how Akina Minami wore Kanda's uniform and the uniform looked like it was meant for her. XDD She was hugging the uniform and proclaiming that she liked Kanda's uniform (or was it Kanda?) best! I love the picture that Hoshino-sensei drew for the programme!

I couldn't really figure out some of the funny parts of the show but I thought that the video clips the production team made for DGM was very nice! XD But it was too bad they didn't talk too much about the plot.

Uh, that's all I can remember and understand from the show. Hehheh. >< Hopefully subs will come out! ^^

Thanks for the summary! I think Akina Minami is a Kanda's fan. She was very cute when she drew her sword out. Her co-hosts were probably disappointed that she did not take the Lenalee's costume though. In the scene when Akina jumped in the air as she was holding her skirt down, I think she was demonstrating what she would do if she were Lenalee when she was in the middle of a battle.

From what I read on babelfish, a DGM OAD is being planned. Unfortunately, I don't know where the original quote come from so I'm not sure of the verification. Until then, let's wait for more information to show up.

OAD stands for Original Animation Disc OR Original Animation DVD which is similar to OVA, but the main differences are OAD mainly targets at fans n its quality isn't as good as OVA, plus OAD is usually separate from manga. so, OAD normally doesn't sell well

IIRC, OAD is similar to OVA. OAD stands for Original Anime DVD.

An Original Anime DVD (original animation DVD or OAD), is an OAV released on DVD as an extra with a volume of manga

Yea for D Gray Man's ODA/OVAs. Great News start coming after the recent annoucement of return date of D Gray Man manga. Maybe it's better for D Gray Man to continue using ODA/OVA cause manga switch to monthly.
