Now, when you said it...the "Lavi" as I assumed to be him earlier, maybe it's Skin in his form before he got the crosses on his cheek. He has some similarities. But would it make sense, putting a "normal" Skin on the cover on this way? Maybe...

Right, the bandage he had wounded around his forehead because of the bloody crosses. That makes sense xD. So, it's most likely Skin. But how should I recognize a person from this view ^_^"...Will change my conclusion from Lavi to Skin (white form)

That bandage on the forehead confused me in the thumbnail (not to mention my lack of direction). At least there's big scan now. Still amazing despite the absence of Lavi and Krory.

Yeah, I was e-mailing YesAsia for a week about it. ^^;; It's not so expensive... the Japanese volume is cheaper than the Viz version, even if I can't understand it that well, and I bought some CDs with it so shipping was free.

...and now that I see all the pictures... ah, well, hard copies are good too!

Then, the first gag comic is called the "'Katou' Affair". Apparently this is a true story. According to Hoshino-sensei, the staff of the D. Gray-man anime and the voice actors (zomg, I love Okiayu Ryoutarou! ><) from around the Rewinding Town arc all went out to dinner after a recording session, and Mr. T, the mixer, got drunk and began talking about someone named "Katou" who hadn't been appearing lately. Everyone was confused until Mr. T said it was the "Katou" that "Sakurai kun" played, Sakurai kun being Kanda's voice actor. So for some reason Mr. T had been calling Kanda "Katou" in his head. And from then on, everyone called Kanda's voice actor Katou.

Sorry I couldn't translate the rest. ^^;;

Translation of the gag manga 1 I posted in LJ...figure out I'll bring it over here.

Text: This is a real incident that occured during the recording of D. Gray-man anime...

Because the recording usually starts in the evening, the cast and staff go straight to dinner after the recording...

The incident happened while they were eating after the recording of "The Rewinding Town".

The slightly drunk mixer T-shi slowly started talking.

T-shi: Now that I think about it, "Katou" didn't appear recently~
I wonder when he'll appear next~~? "Katou", I mean.

Everyone: ("Katou"...?Who?)

Text: Out of the blue, Mixer T-shi started talking about the mysterious figure "Katou"

T-shi: See, "Katou" didn't appear recently, right?

Text: Confused bunch of people

Allen(when I say the characters' name I mean their seiyuu): "Katou"...?

Linali: "Katou" who?

River: Was there a character like that?

Everyone: (What is he talking about...)

Text: The place quieted down after that.

T-shi: (Eh?)
It's "Katou"! KA-TO-U!! Seriously, everyone's being so cold.
See, the guy who Sakurai-san was playing?(TN: I love how he's smacking Allen's back in this picture.)

Everyone: That's not Katou, it's Kanda!!!!

Text: Sakurai-san is Kanda's seiyuu

T-shi: Er...

Text: Yes! The "Katou" T-shi was talking about is in fact Kanda!
For some reason the name Kanda has been replaced with "Katou" in his head! Why is that so, T-shi!?

Text: That moment they thought that T-shi's head had gone a bit weird due to excess working, and the mystery was solved.

Everyone: You only got the "Ka" part right!
At least you got the correct number of syllables

T-shi: Gooood morning~

Kanda: Ah, T-shi

Greetings, I'm Katou.

Text: -said something like that

Kanda: BATTOU!(TN: Stuff he says while invoking Mugen)

T-shi: KYAAAAA!!!

Text: After that, the Kanda=Katou incident was known to everyone involved in the anime production. Everyone started calling Kanda "Katou"...what are you going to do, T-shi...

Text: Dead end!(TN: A play on the word "Oshimai" which means "The End", instead replacing the hiragana "shi" with the kanji "death")

Kanda: Who the hell is Katou!?

Totally agree with you on that part, snoogen. I simply loved seeing the characters answering questions, it's really nice to see their answers. Plus the pictures are cute.XD I was wishing for an Allen/Earl talk room someday(so they can do their "Ufufufufufu..." thing together. Ha.), but I guess all I can do is hope...
