When they are "unpetrified", their bodies are restored and there are traces that they were once stones. Since Senkuu's neck had stone on it, unpetrifying his neck restored the broken bones and everything.

Actually, Senkuu's Atlas & Axis were of stone and Tsukasa wanted to tear them and applied the sufficient force to do it, therefore Senkuu fainted because of the strength to do so, but needed more to actually tear the stone, implying that Tsukasa can break stones.

Please, no more friendship bullshit on second arc D:
This manga may survive? Jajaja, Boichi and Riichirou are like having Arakawa or Mashima drawing on WSJ, all the editors will try to make it popular even if the public doesn't want it. Boichi's art is wonderful, to my eyes.

The manga doesn't seem bad by far, but as impied earlier, they have to yet to decide on a plot, on what do of it since there are different ways it can goes but it didn't focus in one in particular. It has been an interesting read for me though, Senku is Ken (Sun ken Rock) past version lolol.
Really liked the fact Taiju managed to remain calm after all that and even have a good idea, along with Yuzuriha which i thougt would be useless during most of the manga, glad i was wrong.
Regarding Tsukasa, i can understand from where he's coming, i somehow agree with his point of view but the course of action he uses is a bit too extreme, and his think as already stated here is a bit irrational. He can't tell who's good or not, being "evil", has nothing to do with one age. He's an interesting character though, shows great inteligence but the way he acts is too much of a personal "revenge" conected to what happened to him when he was a kid.

He is probably going to reveal something. From what I have seen in the WSJ thread rankings are good. Among the best of the new series, if not the best. But these editor notes should not be taken seriously.

Even though you should take toc with a grain of salt it appears most Japanese readers are kind of sour on the series already.

This manga is so weird. It never had many named people, most if not all on protagonist level. And the new arc doesn't exactly help there either.
I can fully understand how this is outright boring to some. Actually I'm surprised it even gets the chance for a second arc/volume.

You're right here. Any manga series can put this and just get axed like Double Arts or Oumagadoki Zoo, where you could read those astonishing titles yet ended bad... this only at WSJ. Other magazines just preserve their greatness despite being bad enough to be considered good thanks to the overall quality of the series published.

This chapter got nothing, the monkeys were fodder and not needed, but those remarks! Yeah, this manga is so fresh, i'm rather tired of superheroes with superpowers, not saying i don't want to see unusual features here regarding the stone process, though.

Is it me or did Ch. 14 brake it's own in universe logic and prier chapters? Senkuu finding an intact Taiju barried underground not only that but dragging him(keeping in mind that Senkuu is not know for strength let alone stamina) to the "research" center and places him face down on the floor and poured the nitrite acid on him. Chapter one however showed Taiju above ground and quite a ways away from Senkuu when he finally woke-up on his own.

I went back to check the first chapter and i noticed Senku woke up inside a cave, on a "bed" of leaves and twigs hadn't noticed it before, but had to after this chapter, so it's not incoherent. Yeah he's not too strong, but that doesn't make it impossible for him to carry, though i understand where you are coming from.

Does anyone else think that chapters 13 and 14 where overall pointless filler chapters, because this chapter pretty much showed they where? Also the universe logic is screwy at best the depetrification formula can heal a broken neck with a severed spinal cord but can't reattach broken limbs to a still petrified person.

Chapter 15 also pretty much showed that the series probably won't be around for very long, because it seems the writer has pretty much settled on the whole Tsukasa is the supreme villain and once he's been stopped the series will come to a close plot. I'm not really surprised by this really majorly disappointed but not surprised.

That Tsukasa would be the main antagonist was obvious from few chapters ago. As if it will end after they beat him? Well most likely, unless he can come up with something else to get the plot going, related with the pretrification. Seems to me will see another time-skip sooner or later

Their plan sounds too simple. I don't think Tsukasa would believe them like that.

I liked this chapter. The last 2 I only skimmed and they were a bit on the boring side. While I agree the plan is too simple, i'm betting Tsukasa will indulge them for the time being. He may not know Senkuu is alive, and might think they're plotting revenge. Keeping his enemies close and all that. I'm just mostly excited for the new people. A shift in dynamic is needed right now because these 4 characters by themselves are quite stale.

As I said countless times, the author does not seem to know where he wants to take the history. Maybe he has a crazy editor?
These new series are probbally all on borrowed time unless they can soon prove themselfes (as black clover for the jpn public and MHA did) and with others getting down on the rankings like Shokugeki and Sumo-manga-i-always-forget, so I can´t see this lasting any longer

I agreed, the importance of Senkuu to the group and the pace of his discoveries could be packed in one chapter, because what's truly important is the event that will allow the character to surface as a whole than just the act of survive because mankind is needed again to rule over all...

This chapter proves what was inferred since chapter one, the stones shells have properties, by now, healing properties. Thanks! so this guys on high-heels are a tribe... and travels within the jungle with that? I hope some barriers to Senkuu there.

Most of this chapter wasn't really necessary to show in great detail like it was. The Tsukasa vs. Kohaku fight could've been off screened and just make the about Senku and Kohaku. This is also something I noticed, but Kohaku's knives look to be made of forged metal most likely iron, but in Japan you can only get iron in one section of japan and if you do manage to find it it's not pure iron so you need a special forge to make make weapon's/tools out of it, and Kohaku clearly doesn't know about a lot about modern/past sciences so how exactly is her group of people advanced enough to already be in the bronze/iron age?

I really liked this chapter. I mean nothing earth shattering happened but i've been waiting for Kohaku's full debut for a while now so I really enjoyed seeing a bit of her personality, from the fight with Tsukasa to her sudden crush on Senkuu lol. Her way of speaking is a bit different from someone revived from Senkuu's era so that's another mystery to be solved. She sounds like someone who grew up on fairy tales the way she called Senkuu a sorcerer.

Lol yeah. Good thing that we know what the person looks like. Honestly, I found it kinda cute that she got a crush on Senkuu. Made me kinda lol there. Damn Senkuu, you prince charming saving her, or actually more the prince science. Also, she was so direct 'I think I have ended up.... I really reaaaaaaaaally liking you'. Also, loved the face expression that Senkuu made when she said that XDD

So, how does Kohaku know Japanese but is unaware of science? Even if she is the kid of people who became normal after some time isn't it a bit weird?

@Koi Kage says something intersting, it could adapt well to the development, i hope it's taken for the best.

Senkuu's puller, looking and looking on it, i don't think it would work well doing for real. Strings with soup would only made the wheel to slip on the same position... because of the great weight that are trying to levitate plus the knots that would stop the direction to move to a higher knot in the tree's branch.
