It's too soon to say who a villain is. If they do a crossover is possible Natsu is the demon king. (Or was he a robot?)

That’s true we shouldn’t say this or that character is a villain since we all thought the Demon King robot was a villain but wasn’t. I think Natsu will be the Demon King in the crossover and his magic being mistaken for ether gear.

since mashima like to play around with time travel , maybe we might get a more realistic scenario like visiting a planet where time moves slower/quicker because of its gravity like in interstellar and we get to see a version of a tesseract

Alright, where to start,that was a pretty entertaining first chapter, for what its worth. The similar art style is a little......unoriginal. Seriously, this panel has definitely been in Fairy Tail before:

Pretty sure Natsu and Gray have made this angry face before in the series, but moving on.
That Kingdom Rebecca was in (Granbell) reminded me of Dressrosa from One Piece....A LOT. The concept with toys and humans especially. I was a little surprised that was all an act to get Shiki to live, I was genuinely convinced the King was evil (He actually made for a pretty good first villain). But I get the feeling this isn't the last we'll see of those puppets. Especially Gowther @Demonspeed

I get the feeling the Demon King (That is the guy who was with Shiki in the beginning of the story) pulled some Griffith shenanigans and sacrificed his friends to become the Demon King. I wouldnt be surprised if hes the reason the Cosmos is ruined, so he basically wants Shiki to right his wrongs.

Baiting me with Gowther... Are you trying to tell me that I should read this? Not really interested right now, but I will consider it.

Just finished the 1st chapter, great art as usual from Mashima, that aside I can already see how things will go.
Shiki (Natsu+Haru), Happy and Rebecca (Lucy+Elie+Mavis) goes to a new planet, meets a random new character, befriends him, see's a new big bad and gets his ass whooped, later big bad guy about to beat Shiki up more, new friend shows tears cries out to stop it, Shiki activates (Power of Tears/ Namida no chikara) and 1 hits big bad guy, CALLING IT!

Not I have Asta, man of Anti-Magic based fighting, and Shiki, man of Anti-Gravity Based fighting

About the chapter,
i dont why people are salty about the friendship stuff, it has always been an integral part of his work and it was even nicely put this time . I wont say i liked the chapter alot,nor would i say i dislked it, it was pretty much how i expected it to be like,cliche but whatever.
The designs are bit disturbing to me but i guess i just have to get used to it. ( its like he is creating all of this to make nalu trio 2.0 )

although i'd have to admit, shiki does seem more likable and i like the whole ' lets explore the whole world' thing going on.
i hope rebecca or any other character actually has/gains machina soul power , i'd always wanted to see that to its full potential.

Are you talking seriously? Everyone, or at least the vast majority of the Shounen focus on friendship, some even more than Mashima, rather it would be that you put Shounen does not focus on Friendship, and no, the fact of not saying much the word It does not mean that it does not focus.

I said "not all" ,i didn't say most.There is a difference between the two.Like friendship isn't any important factor in Death Note.

Speaking about friendship is not the problem, the problem comes with the overuse of that word, Mashima keep repeating the same thing over and over again, and is really annoying.
Others shonens can share the same ideals of frindship without the necesity of rubbing that in your face every 2 pagues.

One page of one chapter doesn't show how much that shows focus on friendship, in fact, those two handle it better because they don't have to repeat the same every moment.

Although related by the creator, Shiki and Natsu have different things, Shili seems more empathetic to me, since he showed interest in Rebecca for being who he is, while Natsu was a bit more worthy, just like Shiki is a good mechanic, what gives his abilities a plus, since he is not limited to the fighter's stereotype, he imagined that this will be important in the future.

The robots all had an auto-repair function and didn't have the heart to tell him their batteries would eventually die out for good, because then he'd truly be and feel alone when that happened. But they also knew if they didn't tell him, he'd try his damnedest to fix them all when it was nowhere within his skill. All the more reason to make sure he felt he had no more ties to his home by forcibly cutting them.

Anyway, I do not think that by much shouting I changed some of the ideas, for me, the Manga started well, since it saved us Shiki's presentation time, and to clarify Rebecca I think we will see it in future chapters

Well, maybe in a future Shiki can be built some new robots and demostrate than capable he is, the Manga is to early for we can put a complete idea for this

Shiki's powers are cool. Thought he was a robot when he fell thru that table lol. Rebecca is some kind of idol maybe. She doesn't have that angst Lucy had, so far. She did look like Lucy at times, in the best way

The friend theme was laid on quite thick. It's not "Power of Friendship" though, he just activated his gear. The setup from the robots had some feels.

Fair start.

I have a mixed feeling about that, but I will give it a chance. Starting with good things. Mashima, the master of trolls, still knows how to troll. I was almost certain that the King was a one-chapter-villain, and I was nicely suprised when he turned to be a good guy. I also like new charecters. Rebecca and Shiki look like a bunch of FT characters merge into one, so it's good they aren't copy-pasted Lucy and Natsu. Finally, art is a good side, but it's Mashima, his art is always best.
But there're bunch of flaws too. There is too much "FT vibe" on it. The robot friend looks like Mato/Toma, Shiki's story is similar to Natsu's, the whole conclusion is like Wendy's story with Cait Shelter. Well, Mashima's doing the same thing AGAIN, but maybe this will be the best one? At least, there are no sights of Magic yet, so maybe it will be different.
