Meliodas sent Sunshine imbued Mael packing with his tails behind his legs in his own territory (a humiliation), & you actually think it's still alright to place him as Meliodas' equal? Moreover you even went a step further & equated base Mael to Demon Meliodas? :facepalm
Stop with the exaggeration and confirmation bias.

Meliodas didn't sent Mael ''packing with his tail between his legs'' at all. All we saw was Mael decided to retreat from the battlefield, that's it.

Retreating from an opponent doesn't automatically mean you are inferior to them. The Supreme Deity could fodderize Meliodas in battle, but if she decided to retreat, she's suddenly inferior to him? That's the logic the Meliodas fan-base uses?

And let's not ignore how Nakaba deliberately made Mael portrayed as Meliodas equal in demon mark mode with the whole ''light vs darkness'' yin-yang showdown.

And then let's not also forget how Nakaba confirmed that Mael base is equal to demon mark Meliodas in 282 and even illustrated flash back meliodas (which was demon mark mode) to support this.

Don't misunderstand, Ludo himself made it clear that Mael's power only becomes too much for him as he approaches noon (or noon); how in the world did you think base Mael is suddenly equated to Flash Ludo?
You just answered your own question.

Mael towards noon was too much for Ludoshel, but at any other time even though Mael was stronger - Ludoshel could still somewhat compare himself to his brother and keep up in power.

Looking at the first few pages, we were totally off base. It's amazing how far off we were for a lot of these characters.
Me: Elizabeth is 100,000.

The fandom: wtf

Nakaba: she's 200,000 actually

the fandom: .......

Well, this thread is fun. I'll make a few predictions of my own, then. I'll be givijg a range for all of them, since an exact number is moronic.

2nd Mark Meliodas: 95,000 to 110,000
Holy War Meliodas: 200,000 to 215,000
Current Meliodas: 225,000 to 240,000
5C Meliodas: 380,000 to 420,000
The One Escanor: 215,000 to 240,000
Base Mael: 90,000 to 110,000
Sun Mael(Day): 155,000 to 175,000
Sun Mael(near Noon): 215,000 to 240,000
Sun Mael(The One): 310,000 to 345,000
Indura Mon and Der: 250,000 to 280,000
Elizabeth(8 Wings): 220,000 to 240,000(sue me)
Current King: 150k++, up to 220k

These levels are probably way off and bare inconsistencies. Just my personal estimates based on the currently available information, in essence. Also, the higher end estimates are more likely than the lower ones.

Yes, he literally run away from him lmao. Same shit, in war, if you retreat from a frontal enemy, it is the same as running away, more if the enemy is literally " alone ", all by himself.

Stop finding some excuses, where were they? Oh yeah, it is the Goddess territory lol.

>being biased lmao

That the difference between clear actions and clear biased statements.

Actions speak louder than any statement possible.

Also, Nakaba never said that damsel in distress is 200K, you will say that when he actually do that which is far from happening as judged by how she was in the Mael fight.

I was thinking on how much of a boost Indura gives to its user. Mon and Deri, demons who were at 50.000 before the transformation, were able to oneshot Sariel and Tarmiel (AA that should be around 90.000 as far as we know) and tank without problem attacks from a 201.000 Ludo (even though to be fair he wasn't going all out since he wasn't even using his grace and he himself stated it). It looks like Indura places demons that are on the 50.000 range on an even field with the highest ranked goddesses (Ludo, Mael and Eli). It also looks like it has different phases or "adult" forms, since Mons and Deri were growing even more sinister than before while struggling to beat Eli's light. I'd say that on the first phase, Mons and Derieri were around 175.000-190.000 (since they were being pushed back by Eli in her full power, who should be comparable to a full power Ludo if we go by Mael's statement on both of them being comparable to 2nd Mark Mel) and after "evolving" around 200.000.

Definitely a ridiculous boost, that's like a 125.000-150.000 increase in power if we go by feats. Do you think it's possible that Indura has more phases and depending on the user's PL he/she can have access to more? How strong do you think (PL-wise) the Highest Ranked Demons (Mel, Zel, Chandler and Cusack) in their Indura forms are?

Okay, let us discuss :hurr

Mon and Deri, demons who were at 50.000 before the transformation, were able to oneshot Sariel and Tarmiel (AA that should be around 90.000 as far as we know) and tank without problem attacks from a 201.000 Ludo (even though to be fair he wasn't going all out since he wasn't even using his grace and he himself stated it).
Specifically, it was Monspiet who was able to one-shot both Sariel & Tarmiel during the battle, Derriere had no involvement with their defeat.

As clearly seen above, Monspiet was able to effectively eliminate the Archangel Pair with a singular demonic spell, which looks immensely powerful given its aesthetic and destructive capabilities whilst being used with demonic tongue (spells with demonic tongue, seem to be special). Given Monspiet's ability to be a master at hellblaze, in his Indura form I believe he would be able to use the highest spells of hellblaze with even more power.

As for Derriere, she was easily able to resist the magic of Ludoshel and even was able to physically keep up with him in speed when he has the power of ''Flash'' at his disposal, which is very impressive. Sure, we don't know whether Ludoshel's blessing has another level of power or its in fact more than just simply an enhancement of speed, but given how he didn't use it to a higher degree against Zeldris, leads me to believe that its simply just speed. Ludoshel's statement of ''taking things further'' to me is actually a reference to a possible Goddess version of Indura, given Nerobasta told us he sacrificed everything for the holy war and was ready to sacrifice even more for the sake of it.

Simply, for Goddesses I believe their sacrificial forms are similiar to Indura, they simply ascend to a form that is closer to their true selves, but instead of becoming demonic beasts of destruction, they become angels of a higher order. The higher an order a angel belongs to, the closer to God they are (i.e the Supreme Deity) and thus will become stronger. If you want a better idea, check this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_angelology)

It looks like Indura places demons that are on the 50.000 range on an even field with the highest ranked goddesses (Ludo, Mael and Eli).
I actually believe that the Indura (from Monspiet & Derriere so far) are only at a level that is above Ludoshel, Sariel & Tarmiel but still not on par with Mael or Elizabeth.

Hear me out, whilst Ludoshel is comparable to Elizabeth in power, he doesn't have the specific power to challenge the Indura. In essence, Elizabeth's speciality of superior magic & purification/cleansing/healing gives her the upper hand against the Indura. Elizabeth was able to essentially stale mate herself against the Indura in a 1v2 tug of war and only needed a little boost of power from the weaker archangels (i.e remember how Ludoshel couldn't harm them with his magic but Sariel & Tarmiel's now has such a positive impact?) in order to overcome the struggle and fully purify them. From my point of view, Elizabeth was on the threshold of purifying them and if this was a singular battle (e.g Elizabeth vs Indura-Derriere) she wouldn't need any archangel assistance and would've purified Indura on her own with less difficulty.

Mael's sun blessing obviously allows him to cook the Indura for Christmas dinner... so beside him, the Supreme Deity & Elizabeth the Indura so far are superior to every other Goddess in the clan, until new information is revealed.

Indura is a contract with the darkness, the true form of a Demon - thus seeing the Indura evolve into a stronger form of darkness only emphasises that they can go through stronger. However, I believe that the limit of how powerful they can get has already been seen, as against Elizabeth in Phase 1 (the phase Ludoshel got smacked around on) they were easily pushed back and unable to resist Elizabeth and thus needed to advance to a stronger form of darkness in order to combat her light. Given Meliodas statement, the Indura's had entered into the strongest phase possible:

Definitely a ridiculous boost, that's like a 125.000-150.000 increase in power if we go by feats.
Definitely beyond that, given Elizabeth with 8 light wings was stalemated against the Indura in a 1v2 and Ludoshel's blessing and magic were being overwhelmed.

Do you think it's possible that Indura has more phases and depending on the user's PL he/she can have access to more? How strong do you think (PL-wise) the Highest Ranked Demons (Mel, Zel, Chandler and Cusack) in their Indura forms are?
Potentially, but given every demon individual is essentially the same then Indura should act the same right? They all should have similar phases that they can access.

I mean, Monspiet & Derriere went from being recognisable in their Indura forms to not being recognisable at all, they looked super demonic.

If I had to estimate:

Phase 1: 200,000

Final Phase: 250,000

As for:

Chandler: 320,000+
Cusack: 310,000+
Zeldris: 210,000+
Meliodas: 300,000+

(I used Mel's highest PL to date which is 142k, but he will be higher imo in his prime)

Yeah, it was Monspeet who oneshoted Sar and Tar, and Derieri who was overwhelming Ludo. I already knew that, just that my comment wasn't as specific as yours.

About Ludo, to me it looked like he was barely using Flash during his battle against the Induras (the only time he probably used it was when he dodged Derieri's attack I believe). I think if he had used Flash in its full potential to attack them (not just simple Ark like he did) he would have done it far better than what he did. If we go by physics the force of something is the product of their mass and acceleration (this last parameter should be far higher with Flash active?). Your idea of the Goddess version of "Indura" looks dope and it would be nice if the AA had something like that to made the statement about the "balance" more realist.

Yeah, but he was refering to Monspeet and Derieri's darkness. The darkness of the Highest Ranked Demons should be way stronger, hence my assumption that they could have more phases. But yeah, until is proven otherwise the Induras have two phases (the child one and the adult one, lol).

His magic was definitely being overwhelmed but his grace wasn't since like I said he barely used it.

In my opinion:

Derieri and Monspeet: 195.000-215.000
Chandler: 300.000-320.000
Cusack: 295.000-315.000
Zeldris: 350.000-375.000
Meliodas: 400.000+

You're probably wondering right now: why did I put Zeldris ' Indura form above Chandler and Cusack's, despite the last two having a higher PL than Zeldris (going by the last chapter)? Well, since Mel and Zel are sons of a God they should have more potential than anyone else in the clan so I believe that their Indura forms should be stronger. In the image that I posted, you can see some facial characteristics in Chandler and Cusack's Indura forms, but with the Induras of the demon princes we only see the shadows and that they're bigger than those of the Masters, as if Nakaba was trying to portray in that panel that the princes in Indura are above the Masters in Indura.

Well the topic includes Elizabeth... silly you for thinking I'd write just a small paragraph :hurr

Yeah, it was Monspeet who oneshoted Sar and Tar, and Derieri who was overwhelming Ludo. I already knew that, just that my comment wasn't as specific as yours.
I just like the specifics :heh:fan

About Ludo, to me it looked like he was barely using Flash during his battle against the Induras (the only time he probably used it was when he dodged Derieri's attack I believe). I think if he had used Flash in its full potential to attack them (not just simple Ark like he did) he would have done it far better than what he did. If we go by physics the force of something is the product of their mass and acceleration (this last parameter should be far higher with Flash active?).
Okay, let's assume Ludoshel wasn't using ''Flash'' to its full extent, how does that change the outcome of the battle? Even if Ludoshel could use Flash at a higher level and become fast enough to outmanoeuvre Indura, how does he win against them? Speed alone is not enough for an individual to win a battle, especially if he or her has no means of harming the enemy, which was specified clearly through Ludoshel's ark being unable to harm a Phase 1 Indura.

Unless ''Flash'' possesses an offensive element to its power that Ludoshel can access and isn't simply just speed, leaves me to conclude that unless new information is revealed, Ludoshel is unable to face the Indura. Because, simply Ludoshel's magic is ineffective, so are his physical attacks and his blessing doesn't enhance his offensive power, it simply boosts his speed massively.

Now, Ludoshel could probably definitely use his superior speed to recover his fallen archangels and retreat to safety, but do you see Ludoshel, the renowned ''Leader of the Four Archangels'' and greatest hunter in the Goddess Clan with a tendency to be racist, retreat from a demon in battle? Absolutely not, I'd assume he would rather die than retreat from demons due to weakness.

As for the physics or force of ''Flash'', I'm not a student in this area so I surely don't have the answer to estimate the effectiveness of such phenomenon, but as this is a manga and physics has yet to be an important part of fights, I believe it shouldn't be counted heavily.

Your idea of the Goddess version of "Indura" looks dope and it would be nice if the AA had something like that to made the statement about the "balance" more realist.
What makes you say that Ludo doesn't have the means to counter Indura?
How can he defeat Indura in battle when he is unable to:

Physically harm them.
Magically harm them.
Or use his blessing to harm them?

Nothing in his arsenal can actually kill or wound the Indura's and this was in Phase 1, hence my statement of him not being able to counter them.

He could very well have the purification skill that Eli used but simply choose not to use it.
I don't believe it.

For one, Elizabeth's speciality and superior power in ''ark'' allows her to already have more diversity and strength in her magic in comparison to Ludoshel, but ''Let There Be Light'' itself is an ability names in specific reference to God (i.e The Supreme Deity) which only strengthens its exclusiveness to Elizabeth considering she is the daughter of God, especially when in the same chapter Ludoshel commented on how her mother was going to punish her for saving the commandments.

I'm going to assume until seen, that Ludoshel doesn't have access to this spell and even if he did, it would still be ineffective considering his magic was not powerful enough to hurt the Indura, thus the purification would've failed straight away in the same manner.

I remember him saying that those Beasts were not worth to purify so he probably was too prideful to use that technique.
He simply said that the Indura were not deserving of Elizabeth's ''salvation'' and that she is making a mistake in saving such individuals considering eliminating them would only benefit Stigma and bring the war closer to its end.

Even if Ludoshel could purify, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't use it instead of offensive ark on a demon, especially when he's a racist and wants them all dead. Why have powerful purification spells if you never use them?

But yeah, Eli seems to be all about magic when it comes to fight so her magic power is most likely above Ludo, thing that allows her to affect the Induras at a better degree (I can agree with that).
Elizabeth's magic is definitely superior to Ludoshel's given her ''ark'' is much more flexible and powerful. By feats, Elizabeth has done greater achievements in magic to Ludoshel. She's harmed more powerful demons, healed at a higher degree, cleansed and purified at a immense rate and can even summon a biblical whale for multiple purposes.

Elizabeth & Ludoshel are definitely comparable in PL to each other, but they both specialise in different expertise and abilities, allowing each of them to perform better in different areas of combat. Physically fighting opponents? Ludoshel has the edge. Magically fighting opponents? Elizabeth has the edge. Simply, Elizabeth just had the better tools for the battle, given Ludoshel's other strengths (i.e blessing + physical power) were ineffective.

Though, in my opinion Elizabeth's magic is most likely the entirety of her PL since its insanely strong, which allows her to bypass a lot of obstacles that other fighters might have due to weaker magic, but since she's frail and more fragile, she's essentially a glass cannon, albeit a very powerful one.

Yeah, but he was refering to Monspeet and Derieri's darkness. The darkness of the Highest Ranked Demons should be way stronger, hence my assumption that they could have more phases. But yeah, until is proven otherwise the Induras have two phases (the child one and the adult one, lol).
I'm just saying that the Phases should be the same, but the power for each user would differ.

May all I also add, depending on the user the stats of a person may be boosted differently.. so for Derriere or Monspiet, as they are physical & magical fighters respectively, they would have more power enhanced in their speciality instead of a straight up generic number to all stats.

It's why I believe Monspiet's form seemed more suitable for magic power, given his frail and multiple arms (i.e throwing hellblaze) in comparison to Derriere's massive claw which seems to be used to smash enemies.

His magic was definitely being overwhelmed but his grace wasn't since like I said he barely used it.
Still, speed only goes so far if you're unable to harm an opponent.

Most likely, since Meliodas & Zeldris are the direct flesh & blood of the Demon King, they probably have superior Indura forms to everyone in the clan because they are descendants of the strongest demon, meaning their true forms should be stronger yes?

If Elizabeth's ''Indura'' form was stronger than everyone else's it would make sense, considering she would be closer to God (SD) since she is her daughter.and thus would reach a higher order of angels, making her stronger.

Well the topic includes Elizabeth... silly you for thinking I'd write just a small paragraph :hurr
Well, my topic didn't include Eli, I just wanted to know what people thought about Indura, but since Eli fought against the Indura I suppose you connected the dots? Not that I expected less coming from you :cheez.

My point here is that Ludo was just using basic Ark, he wasn't combining that Ark with his Grace (ex: Gold Shining). I wouldn't say Flash possesses an specific offensive element to its power but rather his attacks seem to be so fast that it can have a burning effect?

https://www.mangareader.net/nanatsu-no-taizai/286/19

Ludoshel: "Burn in agony from my grace Flash".

Plus, Ludo said that this attack was only a demonstration, which suggests that he has stronger techniques that we may see once he goes into his OG Body again. This is supported by the fact that he said he was going to get serious in his battle against the Induras and since right now it's not confirmed that the Goddesses have their own version of "Indura", I think the only thing we can conclude for the moment is that he was going to use his grace at its full potential.

I don't have to much knowledge when it comes to physics either, I just now the basics. But it seems pretty logic for me that if Ludo attacks with a light blade in his regular speed (not counting Flash) it's gonna do less damage than if he does it with Flash since the attack would be way faster, thus have more potency (acceleration) behind it. I know this is a manga and probably I shouldn't be using physics for anything but still, I think this makes sense.

My point is that Ludo wasn't using his grace offensively (he was just using basic Ark attacks) and maybe if he had used it offensively he would have been able to damage the Induras. The fact that he looked confident in handling those Induras before Eli intervened tells me that he at least would be able to battle and damage them to a certain degree if he combined his Grace at its full potential+Ark. We'll have a better picture once we see all of what Ludo can do, tho.

How can he defeat Indura in battle when he is unable to:

Physically harm them.
Magically harm them.
Or use his blessing to harm them?

Nothing in his arsenal can actually kill or wound the Indura's and this was in Phase 1, hence my statement of him not being able to counter them.
I already answered those questions with my first wall of text. Basically Ludo was just using his blessing to evade the attacks, not offensively (he was just using base Ark). His statement of going serious + the poor use of his grace tells me that at least he would be able to compete with them going all out and combining Ark+Grace.

To be honest, I also see Let There Be Light as an exclusive ability of Eli and probably her mother but the thing is that we don't know that yet. I can see Ludo also having purification but to a lesser degree than Eli (who seems to be all magic when it comes to strenght).

I agree with that. Eli seems to have pretty much all of her PL being magic, meanwhile Ludo looks like an all-rounder to me (he is considerably good in all the areas). When it comes to magic Eli seems to be above him but when it comes to overall fighting capabilities (strength, durability, speed, skill...), Ludo clearly has the edge over her.

I also agree with having your speciality being boosted as the most. After all, Indura is the true form of a High-Ranked demon and if that demon specialises in one area like strength the parameter that should be boosted the most is strength (the same with magic).

That's exactly what I meant. Since they are sons of a god and have the highest potential in the clan, it would make sense that their true forms would also be the strongest. I can't say anything about Eli since so far there isn't any indication that the GC have their own version of Indura.

Why do people think base Mael will be that much stronger than his Estrossa persona? Heck, why do you think he’s going to be stronger at all?

Estarossa went insane & couldn’t control himself with 1 to 3 Commandments while Mael could

Series has ready set the standard that regaining one's memories can lead to an increase of power, as we saw with Gowther.

Using the word control loosely, he was mentally unstable the whole time, but I get your point.

Totally nonsense, Awakened AM Mel is far beyond 150K, he trashed the DK power without even trying.

King is iffy and nope of Elizabeth lmao.

I like the wank of Elizabeth but the downplay of Meliodas himself, the dude with the strongest OG magic ever.

Add, Emo Mel's Ridiculous physical strength into the equation will makes things far worse.
