Hey @Doughboy, rereading some chapters here's a plotline we haven't seen yet:

In X782 one of the 12 invaded Ishgar which Zeref put a stop to 1.) because of Etherion and Face 2.) cause he said it wasn't the right time. It had to be Irene right? She's from there and she disliked her country. But why? Interested if this will be covered towards the end of the Alvarez arc

Added, I think I agree wih CatSid the only two options were either Irene or Larcade. Irene's case was simpy she hated Ishgar, I doubt it was Erza driven but it's possible. Larcade could of simply to see his mother or to capture Fairy Heart himself. Maybe to meet Natsu. Also Gray's Trump card is next so another plotline will fall.

I think Irene or Larcade invaded Ishgar in X781 since Irene hated her country and what they did to her in Ishgar and Larcade's jealousy of Natsu and Larcade said he wants to kill Natsu. Well Zeref did bring it up in the beginning of the arc so it would only be right if Zeref give us an answer to this plotline. Unless Larcade was the one who invaded Ishgar in X781 so Larcade would be the one to give us an answer to this plotline.

yup, I think Larcade being the one could tie in when we find out his creation process. So that would be whenever him and Mavis meet.

If Makarov is really dead, then I would like to see his funeral by the end of this arc.

I would also like to see the reactions of all the members, as well as who would be giving the eulogy/speech. It's probably either Laxus or Erza, but I'm hoping for the former rather than the latter.

If everybody gives some sort of speech, that would be even better. I honestly believe there should be an entire chapter dedicated to Makarov's death and funeral.

I'm kinda curious on who would take it the best and who would take it the worst. Kinda like Erza's fake funeral scene during the ToH arc.

I chose the history of the Spriggan 12, and a lot of people seem to be interested in the reason why Zeref sought out these mages in the first place. I feel like we're certainly getting an August backstory soon anyway. You know, how he met Zeref and Brandish.

I agree if the one who invaded Ishgar 10 years ago was Irene but it wasn't because she hate Ishgar or Erza i guess. Because first her true goal is to get revenge to Acnologia, Second, She seems to not afraid of Zeref, just like how she talk with Zeref back in Fairy Tail guild. If we look at FT time line, X782 is when Lisana move to Edolas, and in between 781-784 is when Gildart meet Acnologia in Mt. Zonia for 100 quest. Maybe Irene intention to take FH is connected with 100 years quest and Acnologia being in Ishgar. And conceidence or not, Mashima first time introduced Irene character is in Mt. Zonia and she seems know very well about the history of Mt. Zonia.... Gildart <---> Acnologia <---> Irene <--- Zeref ---> Natsu, Lucy, Mavis = Final Battle???

Well, it just my opinion though... it's been 78 chapters long since Zeref talk about that invasion, and more than 200+ chapters long for Gildart's 100 years quest. hahahaha

Saint Wizards #6-10 have no room to join tbh. If Hiro allowed his characters to lose to Spriggans, their introduction would make sense, but now they may be shown only to be destroyed by Acnologia.

God Serena's remaining elements will remain a mystery. We can only guess that since he has fire and wind, he could potentially have iron and lightning. But he also showed us water and earth, so if I were to take a guess I'd say his complete list of elements is fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, iron, ice, and something that'd fit his flashy character like magma or light.

Erza's eye is an artificial "limb", just like Gildarts' arm is. It's designed to be capable of handling magic power and since it's fake, it allows her to see through genjutsu.

I think this list needs an update.

I'm updated the list but I can't change the poll lol. I need a new one @Brandish . What we'll find out next is Mavis' plan. Has to be. I think it's going to her using Ankhseram Black Magic. Or like combining it with something.

This list needs updating since we found what Mavis's plan was, why Zeref is afraid of Acnologia, found out what Fairy Heart does, and found out about/what's inside Natsu's book.

What was Mavis' plan? She only told us what it can do, not actually what is was. I got you on the other stuff though

I think this list needs to be updated since Acnologia's backstory/origin was revealed in the movie.

I hope Manga will expand it someone who was a Mystery and was hyped for almost 300 chapters deserve more spotlight in his backstory than just 5 minutes in the movie But at this stage, I wouldn't be surprised if this is all that we will get about Acno past..

Well Acnologia's backstory is going to only be in the movie since there were some things Mashima wasn't able to put in the manga.
