I'd put Laxus at the highest durability, he tanked all of Assault Wahl's attacks, who I'd say out of all the Spriggan 12 he's definitely top tier in offense then still managed to handle Hades in his beaten up state..
The rest would follow like:
-Gildarts
-Gajeel (he was able to tank all the Curses of the 9DG plus the First and Second Seals)
-DF Wendy (Dimaria's lazer beams)
-Makarov
-Sting
-Max
We don't have enough of Cobra's feats to indicate his durability so I'm leaving him as a wild card for now

it had been clearly repeated again and again that erza was a bad matchup for ajeel here.
I mean she could actually hurt him with her water sword. can you imagine a bigger advantage than that
Simply because Neptune sword isn't enough, can you compare a water sword to a mage who uses water based magic who is extremely skilled in using water?? Technically, Juvia can also turn her body into water like what Ajeel does in his own body. Besides, Erza drained her magic when Ajeel attacked her with the sand of death which is basically like a tornado sand, and it can dry up the person inside it, and Erza wasn't able to requip because of Marin. So it wasn't a fair fight on the first place.

Ajeel would dominate Juvia.

First of all, Ajeel isn't super vulnerable to water. Ajeel is simply immune to most swords because he can turn anything that touches him into sand. Presumably the sand then harmlessly bounces off his body. Stuff that Ajeel can't turn into sand can still hurt him, and that's why Ajeel was effected by Jupiter and Natsu's punch. Secondly, Erza's sword has the ability to harden sand. That's why the sword can hurt Ajeel. Ajeel is turning the water in Erza's sword into sand, and the sword is hardening itself so that it can cut Ajeel. Now, even giving Juvia the benefit of the doubt that her water can harden sand like Erza's sword, a wave of water thrown at Ajeel would simply feel like getting hit by a wall of hard mud - at worst, rock. If Ajeel can tank a blow from Jura, he would have no problem tanking hits from Juvia. It wouldn't effect him like slayer magic effects their targets.

Secondly, Ajeel has better magical reserves and AoE. He can simply overpower Juvia. His AoE abilities with sands of death and sand worth is massive. if Juvia does throw a wave of water at him, there is no reason he can't scatter it like with what he did with the Jupiter cannon. There's also no reason he couldn't overpower the attack with sands of death. There's no reason he couldn't absorb the moisture from her attacks the same way he did with Gray's ice either. All this is assuming that Ajeel even has to go on the defensive.

Lastly, Erza beat Juvia and Lisanna back on Tenrou Island with her Sea Empress armor, and Erza has had way more improvement than Juvia since the Tenrou and 1 year timeskips. Erza didn't even defeat Ajeel by herself or with water. Erza had help, and she was using her strongest armor. That armor had the ability to dispel magic. Juvia isn't on Erza's level, and the way Erza beat Ajeel isn't even within Juvia's capabilities.

either way, if Ajeel hurts or if he has hots for Gray then he should run away because Juvia would get such a massive boost that even Acnologia would be scared ;)

Gildart said its not using its power when it FOUGHT me. What don't you understand?
He also says it all happened in a moment, which means he got blitzed or close to it. If there was a fight it would have spanned a few seconds.

It doesn't matter, you're ignoring cold hard facts, he got stabbed and it went through his body. Natsu had. Knife thrown at him and melted that instantaneously.
Natsus has an ability to melt knives with heat, it has nothing to do with his actual durability.

Natsu shot a gun in his mouth and lived, and guns are way more lethal compared to a knife or sword whatever. You can't ignore cold hard facts when it's in front your face.
A stab from Brandish is going to be far more lethal then then a bullet shot.

August even sees her pulling out the blade.
And? Need I remind you that he had just accepted to hear them out? Need I remind you that Brandish had just told him that he is like a grandpa to her? Need I remind you that the real enemies were right behind them, and thus he could have just as easily thought she would attack them? Your logic is one-dimensional, you aren't evaluating a feat like you are supposed to.

A knife goes through him like butter. AKA Durability feat.
Nope, he still has his guard down, its not a valid durability feat.

Makarov: Dude easily tanked Jupiter
In the very next page it shows just how much damage Jupiter did to the area that it hit. So no he did not tank it, he is simply lucky that Jupiters AoE is small compared to the rest of his body.

Also, DF Wendy has like.......no durability feats.

@Dr.Monty DF Wendy has durability feats, she took on several of Dimaria's attacks and could still move enough to defeat Ezel so she's pretty much mid-tier durability

Thats endurance, not durability.
That's durability. Endurance would be how long someone can last before being exhausted, while durability is how much damage someone can sustain after being hit.

Wendy tanked Dimara God Mode attack.

He clearly tanked the attacked. Luck had nothing to do with it. Jupiter was the same size as the one that Bisca fired at Azir and Phantom fired at FT. This comment makes no sense.

He is perfectly fine after being hit with Jupiter.

Your definition of endurance is actually the definition of stamina, they are very very similar so I suppose that doesn't really matter. However your durability definition is blatantly wrong, I'll elaborate below.

Wendy tanked Dimara God Mode attack.
The attack was very very weak. The fact that Charla survived it means that its a dud of a feat. Charla doesn't get the same plot immunity (especially in her fighting mode) as Happy (since she has not shown any of the "impossibility" that Happy has) does so anything on her is fair game.

Anyone can "tank" an attack that only hits their arm. Look at the area that was hit by Jupiter, its covered in blood. I'll remind you what durability means:

du·ra·bil·i·ty
ˌd(y)o͝orəˈbilədē/
noun
  1. the ability to withstand wear, pressure, or damage.
Makarov did not withstand Jupiter because Jupiter clearly damaged the area it hit extensively. Its not how much someone can sustain after being hit, its how much someone can sustain during the course of action. What you are referring to is endurance;

en·dur·ance
inˈd(y)o͝orəns,enˈd(y)o͝orəns/
noun
  1. the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way
But like I said, anyone can endure an attack to the forearm. Frankly characters should be able to endure through downright having their arm cut off, it doesn't even take a superhuman to do that, especially one on a mission.

Your post makes zero sense. Makarov withstood the damage Jupiter did to him which by your definition means he tanked the attack going towards his durability.

By your definition Wendy withstood the damage that Dimara attack did to her. Also Dimara attack was pretty powerful as it had a huge amount of Area damage and is a Spriggan. So by feats and Hype it was a powerful attack. Also Carla never tanked the attack, Chelia did which doesn't make the attack weak.

You are just not understanding what I am saying. Makarov endured the damage perfectly fine yes (since it only hit his hand), however Jupiter still damaged him extensively, it bypassed his durability. He tanked nothing. Him getting very injured on his arm by Jupiter and continuing battle says very little about both his durability and his endurance. I suppose Jupiter not going right through his arm does say something about his durability, but Laxus and Gajeel should be on the same boat, easily.

Charla did tank the attack, she was right next to Chelia. Yes the attack was big but the fact that someone weak survived it without significant damage makes that redundant. Based on feats the attack wasn't that much more powerful then Bradmans exploding helix, if at all, and that did absolutely nothing to Gajeel. Base Wendy is incredibly fragile (almost as fragile as Charla) and DF wouldn't do a whole lot for her in that department (it accentuates her speed and magic more then anything else).

I think if someone gets damaged you can still use it as a durability feat. But it's likely less accurate then using a feat where little to no damage is taken as the drawing of 'moderate to high damage' looks quite similar. It's always best if you have enough feats that you can tell what a character can no-sell, what gives them low damage, and what gives them mid-high damage.

When someones broken/dismembered I don't consider it a durability feat at all.

Being able to block Jupiter is proof of durability. Imagine if anyone else tried that. They might get their arm blown off and the rest of their body too. Taking damage from an attack does not mean durability is thrown aside. An attack that would beat others if it lands, but only damage someone is proof of durability. If a tough guy gets a stone slammed to his head, and he bleeds, but doesn't die, doesn't have brain damage, doesn't get knocked out, that makes him durable. Taking a shot with or without damage still makes it a feat of durability. Being able to take what is dished out is durability. Having a shield or armor of any kind including sand is armor. Defense is the ability to dodge and escape attacks.

I wouldn't say Bradman's helix attack along with others are weak. That's how it seems if the guy is made of metal, not covered with metal, made of metal. That's durable. A tough guy makes strong attacks look weaker than they actually are. A fragile one makes attacks look super strong when it hits him/her.

Durability, defense and endurance are three different things.

Read my post on the Gildarts vs Natsu thread. Denbunked everyones argument.
The only way Tenrou Gildarts is above Natsu is if Hiro forgot about Bluenote v Gildarts. But he didn't. as Natsu oneshotting Bluenote with a roar is proof Natsu has ascended beyong pre-skip standards. Further proof is that the Spriggans can fodderise pre-skip powerhouses (God Serena soloed 4 people with mid diff or less).

This is not a knock on Gildarts, this applies to powerhouses stronger than Gildarts pre-skip such as Hades and Mard Geer. Hades was taken out by Laxus who was in bad shape. Mard Geer would likely be beaten by current Erza.

It's a rather annoying power inflation but it is what it is.

Look Wood, I read that thread and you didn't really debunk much at all, in fact you barely debunked anything to be blunt. While I'm trying not to be rude I don't trust the word of someone who think Gildarts based on his Tenou and Ice Trail feats could blitzed August and Brandish.

Hades stronger than Gildarts? Natsus roar would've demolished him if he hadn't healed with his Devil heart
Yea it would have, but the same roar can likely take out Gildarts. It was most of Laxus' MP dumped in one roar, not many spells have that amount of power pre-skip.

Hades was beating Makarov rather easily, beat team Natsu, beat Laxus... can Gildarts do all of that? Maybe, but probably not beating Makarov easily.

Gildarts has magic to cancel out any spell Irene or August uses but the hax ones. He has speed feats that none of them can counter.

Hades was cheating, he has a stored up magic heart that restoring his magic every single time he got hit. Its like Natsu roar didn't affect him at all. Wanna know why Laxus dropped him in one hit while being a histora? he didnt have the heart to heal him.

Gildarts would cancel out all his spells and throw mountain bussting punches.

Gildarts has great defence but he's not cancelling the 2 spells we've seen from August and Irene. Gildarts needs some kind of range/time do use his defence - as seen on Tenrou when Natsu got too close - he was unable to use a defensive magic. Essentially most CQC moves are unblockable.

August's melt spell exploded in an upward direction. It was essentially instant. With this type of attack Gildarts will be hit before he can defend it.

With Irene's attack she enchanted the air in an instant, and it hit Acnologia. He was strong enough to stop it from crushing him. Then Irene hit Acno somehow from the front. This sequence is close to unavoidable, unless there's a hax.

So Natsu LFDR could take out Gildarts? he cancel it out.
Depends on the situation. If Natsu is overwhelming Gildarts like he did Hades, then the roar is probably unavoidable.

If Gildarts has some distance between Natsu he might have the time to disassemble the roar.

The Heart does increase Hades endurance to a ridiculous point, but you still need to put him down. I'd say a Tenrou LFD roar would put Hades with no Heart down. He'd probably be as hard as Warrod to defeat. As for the Historia's, I'm still not totally sure about how they get restored. Do they come back as strong as the memory recalls them to be? Or are they as strong as they were in their life? Neinhart uses memories to make the Historia's, so it's hard to tell. I assume Laxus beat Hades without Heart.

Gildarts cracked the mountain. That's what his magic does. He trips and cracks a village. His magic is conducive for destruction, but can he crack people with such ease? He used crash punches on Bluenote, and they were largely ineffective until he used Empyrean. I class Empyrean as a better feat than cracking the mountain.
