Jellal knocked all the seis down and they thought he was going to kill them. Regardless if the seis trained or not, obviously they were still relevant with Cobra doing just as well as the other ds against dragons. If Wendy fought Zirconis alone until Natsu broke the time gate she'd be dead. I don't remeber Cobra being that vulnerable against his dragon. If he was a s weak as Max with dsm he'd be dead from attempting to fight a dragon. Again you are proving very little. I don't remeber the seis being in a cube the same way Jellal was. Every time Mest needs Cobra he sees him in a prison with bars. You still haven't proven anything. You don't give the full credit of Jellal. Therefore you're not making the clearest of answers. None of the ds did better than anyone. Wendy at the time was weak. The others did equally as well fighting dragons, including Cobra. If you are stuck on prison talk, pay more attention to how he actually did instead of wasting time about other stuff. I'm not gonna say Cobra is on currently on the level of Natsu because he is not, but if you won't accept the fact that Cobra did just as good as the other ds against the dragons then you as you've already proved are biased and won't acknowledge the strength of both guys to give a honest matchup. Therefore you are wrong. Downplay the sema that was about the same size as Laxus nuke on Ajeel? Unless Jellal did nothing during the skip you got nothing. How can he concentrate on amping his magic when their a seal that block his magic from being used? If he has no magic to concentrate towards strengthening then he can't strengthen his magic.
What? Just bcs the other DS didn't do good doesn't mean they're all on the same level. With this kind of thought that's like saying Gajeel is as strong as Laxus bcs they both were ineffective to dragon which obviously he wasn't.
I don't get your entire first sentence so can you explain again? Cobra is the same strength as the OS arc and their was nothing to suggest they trained in prison (it would be stupid of the magic council to allow them to have their prisoners get stronger anywaylol).
OS were still conscious after the attack and he needed Grand Chariot combined with Sema to take them out. It wouldn't really make sense if Jura was knocked unconscious by Sema when severely weaker opponents weren't.
Current Jellal is strength is still unknown is true but with what he's got currently he doesn't look like he's on Laxus level. I don't really care to get into a long tedious debate but if someone makes it I'll put in my thoughts on the matter.
That's wrong on so many level. Racer would get smashed by any main GMG character in any stat let alone him blitzing a Spriggan. That guy was guy couldn't even blitz pre-1st TS Erza even with the help of 2 other OS members and you really think blitzing him is greater than blitzing a Spriggan?--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---![]()

Discrediting characters don't result in accurate strength levels. Sorry to break it to you. And in all honesty those two will be eternal rivals unless they actually fight. And even after Jellal shows his power this arc, I doubt there will be a true answer on strength. Favoritism, hype and character demeanor(overconfidence) will likely be the only things that will sway the decision on who's greater. Just as it is now. That's why I said from the beginning that this argument is too early to be talked about. Discrediting one of them for past feats only proves you got no solid answer. Keep it up though, your talk that about Cobra being weaker than Max is hilarious.
Anyone else think Max was stronger than Cobra in the gmg arc? jko thinks he was. Get your ranking together and stop making excuses. Give me a real debate. And do it after Jellal shows his capacity. Until then this is a waste of time on which one is greater, like I said from the start.
