Yeah, better wait. Then we can vote how many tiers above Erza Laxus is. We can start conservatively at 2. Unless he loses, then we can vote on excuses for why he's still stronger

Ah the good old days, Base Natsu somehow doing better than IgNatsu, punching Zeref in the face somehow hurting him more than literally incinerating him. I will say it is starting to feel like the old days with the amount of discussion/salt going on. In all seriousness though, I am interested to see how much stronger people think FT are, there've been some pretty good power ups going around, better than Alvarez got in some cases.

Wait, Minerva was the strongest in Sabertooth, right? I remember, before Minerva, Erza, and Kagura started their three-way battle, Rufus said that apart from being the daughter of their guild master, Minerva was also the strongest wizard in Sabertooth, even stronger than Sting and Rogue combined and also, when I looked up on Minerva’s profile in Fairy Tail wiki, it says, “Minerva is reckoned as the STRONGEST MEMBER of Sabertooth,” while Orga’s profile in wiki says, “He is ONE OF THE FIVE STRONGEST in Sabertooth” so I think it was clearly implied even in the manga that Minerva was the strongest member of Sabertooth in GMG, though I don’t know up until now if she’s still the strongest, because they don’t have recent feats. Why? Because Laxus was about to absolute wreck Ajeel, while Erza would've lost without help

Ajeel's sand magic straight up countered Erza's magic. Ajeel stat wise isn't above Erza at all, he was just a better matchup.

Ajeel's magic counters everyone. He is intangible unless he wishes to make himself tangible. To defeat his sand storm, a bigger AOE is needed. Laxus can do that with his nuke.

And? So Elfman is Erza tier and can fight on equal standing with Laxus since we have to deal with it? The fact he beat a guy who would have beat Erza in a 1v1 is astronomically ludicrous. Unless he gets feats to back up that feat I am not taking it as a feat.

Dunno. I just take it to mean Orga has the most raw power, which was already confirmed by Lector in GMG. Minerva has hax that makes her the most dangerous, even if she isn't strictly the most "powerful"

Ajeel isn't intangible without Sand storm & Iirc he doesn't become intangible. He just freely moves through the sand.

Overall yes...because he's a hard counter. Laxus could beat Ajeel, because his aoe. Now that doesn't suddenly mean Laxus >>> Erza just because one is a better matchup against Ajeel.

Elfman is so low because logically everyone ahead of him should be able to defeat him in a legit one on one battle without plot intervening. Also all his takeovers seem to be only physical types.

Overall though certain characters powers are clearly mishandled by Hiro in the current arc versus what we have seen from them in previous arcs and information we have on them. Logically Freed should be way higher on the list with his rune magic and what we have seen him do with it. We have seen him create a barrier over all of Magnolia, trap wizard saint level mages behind barriers, stop people from using magic, create rules that stop people from leaving a certain area without following his rules, he has even been able to cause people immense pain with a word and even potential death with a word. He even has some powerful demonic forms.

Even with Wendy. Her ability to go dragon force, combined with her healing power and Enchantments should allow much more power than what we currently see. Mind you during Alveraz she did block a full powered Attack from Chrono's Dimaria. So her defensive magic should allow her to protect herself against anyone with Dimaria level attacks or below and we seen in Dragon force she is exceptionally fast and strong. Her enchantments to increase her power should boost all those attributes.

With Lucy we know Gemini can mimic her gold keys and the properties of them when he transforms into her as we see this in his earlier appearances. There is no on panel/on screen or logical reason Gemini transformed into Lucy can't summon the CSK. Although honestly most of Lucy's spirits and Stardress are underutilized.

Elfman tanked Lucy’s trump card so I don’t understand how he’s so far behind her??? Lucy literally showed us she’d have a hard time dealing with him in a battle.

Also weird how Elfman, who defeated a Spriggan, is behind Lucy and the Thunder Legion who have no similar feats.

Um feats and hype still place Minerva as the top mage of Sabertooth since as was said before, in chapter 350 when Orga was stated to be the strongest, Minerva was a member of Succubus Eye.

When Minerva was a member, back in the GMG arc, chapter 312, when they were on the same level as at chapter 350 (presumably), she was hailed as the strongest which makes sense in canon. One can argue that Mashima wasn't considering her defection but since the paragraph about Orga talks about him already losing to Jura in the games and we all agree Orga being stronger made no sense, it seems that is the case.

The current Laxus is really op, by powerlvl he is above any Spriggan expect August.
Now after get great Erza vs Laxus fight I would love to see Laxus vs Gildarts or August. Im sure he would beat Jellal but the other two are special, still I would love to see these battles.
