No they are not real dragons, real dragons do not succumb to motion sicknes, and have not shown to eat elements of their own kind. And again, Acno referring to himself as a Dragon is just because of the situation he is in (while hypocritical) does not explicitly state He is a real dragon. He even calls the DS dragons despite them not being dragons, so he is not a really trust worthy source

That makes no sense as the reason the parent dragons only stayed in the bodies so the DS don't lose their humanity and become actual dragons.
