I'd say the east army of one million soldiers doesn't exist. The east's supposed army of one million was mentioned once, just once in Chapter 455. The rest of the time the only time we've heard about an army of one million has been the one under Zeref and Invel, who are to the west. I'm putting it down to Hiro either stuffing up his directions, or scrapping that army for whatever reason because really you'd think if they had another army of one million, they'd bring it to get Fairy Heart. Also discrediting there being an east army is Jacob in 477 saying they had no soldiers with them, so to me its pretty clear there isn't an army to the east.
If so, then east Spriggan team is really monster, because they has destroyed a country by themselves.

As for my current views on Gildarts, he'll still be on the same level of power because lets face it, he's probably hit his prime and there isn't much room for him to get any stronger. We haven't seen that much of him fighting at all tbh, only against Bluenote who Natsu has also one-shotted in an arguably easier fashion, which puts Natsu > Gildarts if you compare them from their fights with Bluenote and assume Bluenote could've possible gotten a bit stronger in the 8 years we hadn't seen him. He could play a part in this arc, but I wouldn't expect him to be incredibly impressive against the Spriggan seeing Laxus and Natsu would've well and truly caught up to him by now.
I do understand current phenomenon about Gildarts and this topic is remarkable and complicated. His power level is indeed questionable. Still, his participation in this war would be very helpful.

1. Nothing showed Erza was intimidated. Natsu was the one beat Ikusasunagi because he was standing right next to Arlock, who summoned it.
Indeed The Picture Proves Erza was calm,Fearless. She is just Sweating For No Reasons just like Ajeel sweated On seeing laxus's Nuke.

Or it could mean as much as Erza's (false) statement in Phantom Lord Arc that Natsu was close to her level.
Erza had said One Day Natsu will surpass Her.I don't know why some of The People can't accept it.The Series has reached it's climax and by all Feats Natsu is above her.Has Erza destroyed a Mountain,Casually defeated an opponent who gave Gildarts Good Fight, made a City Buster Attacks.
Oh, you know, beating a person hyped to be on par with the number 1 Wizard Saint. Mid-tier Wizard Saint = fodder at this point. And Bluenote is closer to low-tier Wizard Saint, like Jose, TOH Jellal, and Zero.
Bluenote on The Level of Low Wizard Saints. The Man who gave Gildarts Good Fights,Produced Mountain Buster Attacks,One of The Chapter Cover(423 where Natsu one shotted Bluenote) mention That He Fought on par with Gildarts. He will easily crush Zero or TOH Jellal. It is True Mid Wizard Saints like Bluenote Fodder. But The Worst Thing is Erza hasn't surpassed Them.
Natsu was scared by MP alone to the point that he grabbed his tattooed arm against both Brandish and Ajeel. Erza showed she was mid-tier Wizard Saint level by GMG arc. And repeatedly saying that Ajeel is the weakest Spriggan doesn't make it true. Erza not being able to do anything against Ant Pit is false especially when she has wind armor able to blow away Ajeel's sand and actually beat Ajeel.
Natsu's arm Shaked in front of Brandish or Ajeel but did not in front of laxus who was stronger than Ajeel. He wanted To Fight Brandish.
Your second part Reminds me of a Story.Once Columbus asked His Opponents if They can make an egg stand. They said it was impossible.Columbus showed how to make an egg stand. The Opponents said,"What's The Big Deal.Everyone can do That."Columbus Replied,"Yes But None has Done That Before Me."Same Case Here.Natsu casually burnt The Ant Pit While Erza couldn't do anything There. She had no answer To Ajeel's Major Spells like Ant Pit,Sand of Death or Sand World. She only managed to blow some Sand and had hit a distracted Ajeel. After That Ajeel would have killed her if not for Bisca. So Erza defeating Ajeel is False. In GMG Mirajane said She and Erza together can't defeat Jura 5th Ranked Wizard Saint at That Time.
Erza Coments That Natsu has grown Stronger.

So according to you, sweating = terrified, yes? Interesting...

So now you're saying that Erza sweating = she is terrified, but that Natsu sweating MORE and clutching his arm with Igneel's tattoo = he wants to fight Brandish... And Erza not being able to counter Ant Pit is laughable when she forced Ajeel to use his strongest spell.

As I have said before, Mira doesn't know !@#$ about Erza's power or Jura's power, especially not at the start of GMG.

Character statements =/= fact, and there is no rule that states Natsu must be the most powerful by EoS, especially in base. Did you forget about Erza blowing up a floating island in Edolas arc and casually punching a hole in Cube in Tartaros arc? Natsu does not have superior feats except in the minds of people like you. Bluenote = fodder by current standards and is certainly nothing compared to Ajeel.

Yes, Bluenote was on par with the likes of Zero and Jose. Tenrou Gildarts didn't show as much as GMG Jura and so probably wasn't using his full power. Not that we know how strong Tenrou Gildarts's full power is. Please link me a panel showing Bluenote producing "Mountain Busting Attacks". Current Erza >= Hyberion (in all likelihood) > GMG Jura > Bluenote.

Sweat proves nothing.

Gray was fighting on equal ground with Natsu even after the time skip during the avatar arc. Even he was sweating at the site of Ikusatsunagi. The same way they were all sweating when lullaby turned into a demon. But they all smashed him with ease. Ajeel was shocked to see an attack of that power. That does not mean he would have died or gotten one shotted.

Why they sweat is to show that the opposition is strong. IT'S TO HYPE THE FIGHT AND CREATE EXCITEMENT. Shows the enemy is powerful. The only time when no one is ever freaked out or impressed is in one punch man with Saitama. If no one was shocked at the site of Ikusatsunagi and had no reaction to him, that wouldn't have hyped him as much as it did. Same with lullaby. Ajeel big eyed and sweat shows that Laxus has been training also and that they are at a level to put up a fight with the spriggan. The whole reason why Makarov disbanded ft in the first place was because he knew the Alvarez empire was far stronger then ft was at that time which was in the Tartaros arc. Otherwise if they were simply getting targeted he'd have disbanded during the phantom arc. It took Laxus a lot of effort to smash Wahl in that one attack, combining both his magic and physical power. He put no effort on Ajeel. That was just a demo that Laxus has become much stronger, enough for the spriggan to see they aren't to be taken lightly. If Laxus putting little effort with no sign of exhaustion, would have killed Ajeel, then he'd be able to take on more than one spriggan at a time. I see Laxus winning if he fought Ajeel, but with an attack he did with ease? Laxus would have to have put more juice in his attacks to beat Ajeel, the same way he did to beat Wahl regardless of immunity to lightning.

Therefore sweat is not proof of certain defeat. It's to hype the fight that the challenger is strong. Added excitement.

. The island she busted in Edolas was the size of a couple of city blocks and the feat is overall small town level at best. The Tartarus cube piercing feat was calculated as being small town to town level. Punching a few inch wide hole in a building is not building busting. Similarly, punching a 10-12 metre diameter hole in a 2+ km wide structure is not mountain level. It isn't as if she busted Cube or something. She just punched a hole through it. Natsu has Superior Feats compared to These like Destroying a Mountain Sized Opponent and producing a City Buster Attack. And there is no way in hell Bluenote is fodder when he should be above the likes of Mira and his magic was beginning to crumble a damn hill in chapter 422 - a feat which was accomplished without too much effort. If You don't know Let me Tell You Mountain/Hill Buster =City Buster due to it's size and other factors. He's nothing compared to Ajeel indeed but he's mid-tier wizard saint level and probably stronger than X 784 laxus and on The Level of X 791 Jura. The Statement That Erza won against Ajeel is False.Erza managed to hit Ajeel when He was distracted When Natsu punched Bakyll.Other Than That Ajeel would have killed Erza.Erza was no match for Ajeel.

I believe Erza could have defeated Ajeel easily if Marin wasn't in Lucy's house. It's same as Erza (bigger portion) + Bisca (smaller portion) + Natsu (smaller portion & coincidence) vs Ajeel (bigger portion) + Marin (smaller portion).

That's true that because of Marin, Erza couldn't use her requip, getting her moisture sucked out. Ajeel saying dry up already, or die already. That fight was so odd because Erza always tanks everything, yet some small raining sand dagger attack is the only thing that hit her and all of the sudden she is too weak and held by the throat ready to get her head cut off. She has taken some sharp raining stuff before. There was nothing special about Ajeel's attack. Why is Mashima not making any fair or big fights? I'll stay positive and hope that he has something in store.

The time skip did nothing for Erza in strength. She came back the same as she did prior to the skip. Then beat Kagura and Minerva. How you come up with this stuff that Natsu reached Erza's level in the phantom arc is ridiculous. Even in the short fight Erza had with Laxus after the phantom arc, it wasn't one sided like Natsu was getting toyed with by Laxus. Erza was going toe to toe with Laxus. Df Natsu is a different story. I explained very well in the comment before this that Erza and the Tenrou team came back from the 7 year skip the exact same, thereby making Bacchus still relevant.

Max was not on the same level as Natsu. When Natsu got serious Max shit his pants and gave up. Being able to put up a fight not making it one sided, does not make one in the same level. No way Max was on the same level.

How many different arguments did you start which rooted from Bacchus? You said Sting one shot him. I said it was off guard. Same way Mira was caught off guard and was beaten by Elfman, even though she made Elfman look weak before getting caught off guard. Erza comes back after 7 years with no change. Goes into the games. In episode 161 she is surprised and talks about Bacchus getting stronger after he smashed the chariots in one stomp. In 162 Erza explains in detail about his strength and says he gets much stronger when he drinks. Listen to the commentary. Gray, Mira and Erza are surprised by his abilities. Gray acknowledging that he sees why Bacchus was difficult for Erza, but Erza explained that he is nowhere near his full strength because he didn't even drink yet. When he did drink, he passes Elfman with great speed, landing 7 hits in an instant shocking Erza. Erza impressed saying he got even stronger. The same way Erza was impressed by how Kagura smashed Yukino's celestial spirits with her sword still sheathed. Elfman's lizard armor was said to be very effective against mages using hand to hand combat. But I also said Bacchus wasn't exactly in any desperate situation to begin with, as there was no scalely armor around the center of his body. Stop running away from the subject.

Erza herself said Natsu was as strong as her in Phantom but yet you still deny it? It wasn't one sided because the fight lasted a couple of panel which Erza had to immediately switch to her Thunder Empress armor, while the start of the Natsu and Laxus fight, more specifically the punch exchange at the start wasn't one sided tho it was obvious the Laxus had the upper hand so I don't get your point a non serious Laxus would of wasted them both, and no Laxus wasn't serious against Erza he only got serious half way through his fight with Natsu. Laxus himself didn't even acknowledge Erza on his and Mystogan's level:
http://www.mangapanda.com/fairy-tail/119/15

Regardless if they came back the same Bacchus is still irrelevant, BoS Erza isn't Tenrou Erza.

Max was on Base Natsu's level, in fact he was stronger than him, Natsu only won because of his LFD power up which he got during Tenrou.

The Sting and Rouge and the Mira and Elfman comparison isn't valid, Mira was straight up beating Elfman before hand while Bacchus has never displayed the level of strength that would let him tango with Sting. I know he gets stronger when he drinks that's irrelevant because while he drunk he still failed to beat Elfman. Yes Gray acknowledges that Bacchus would of been trouble for her back in the day, but that;s irrelevant to now, like i said BoS Erza isn't Tenrou Erza plus Gray was accounting Erza's second origin. Bacchus being stronger than Natsu, Gray Gajeel etc now is laughable.

Erza was always talking about how strong he is, the time they tried to fight, the councilman came and made them stop. It was just getting started. In a quick exchange she kicked Natsu. That's all that happened. Erza always supported him, but he never did beat her in a fight. Most of the time she hits him and he goes down. Erza said Natsu is as strong as her, but do you actually believe it?

"Laxus wasn't serious with Erza?" Who said Erza was giving 100% either? Laxus didn't acknowledge Erza, but Mystogan did. So how does that help your argument? Neither one acknowledged Natsu. At least Erza didn't get hit from Laxus playing around or not. Laxus made Natsu look like a joke, and was not serious about it, taunting Natsu in the fight.

What does max have to do with Bacchus? You're only proving my point some more that after the skip, the Tenrou team was no longer the strongest. Meaning to say Bacchus and everyone who was not on Tenrou got strong. Where do you come up with this stuff that Erza surpassed Bacchus long ago? His name was never mentioned until gmg. If that's not laughable I don't know what is. Is it possible that this Bacchus was only even with Erza long ago, that they fought many times long before the time skip? Yes it's possible.

Answer this though: During the gmg Erza was shocked at his strength making one stomp that smashed all the chariots in the anime episode 161. He did it without even trying yet enough for Erza to see that to be able to do that with such ease is strong. In the next episode 162 listen as to what Erza Mira and Gray were commenting. They all acknowledged his strength since acknowledging strength is such a big deal to you. Gray was even more shocked to hear that Bacchus was not near his maximum. When he did drink Erza was so shocked that he did one fly by delivering 7 hits. He was so fast. They all at that moment in the gmg acknowledged him How does that prove Bacchus was left behind? And other than Jura and the ws where do you come up with ideas that ft members have excelled past every guild as if they are untouchable? You credit Kagura for what, Erza acknowledging her strength with a sheathed sword, losing to Erza? Did you see how Erza was also stunned at what Bacchus was doing.

No Bacchus was beating the shit out of Elfman that he wanted to challenge himself. The point of me bringing up Elfman is that he was getting owned by Mira, yet she when caught off guard she got beaten. She had a band aid on her face. The connection between that is because Bacchus was caught off guard from Sting. You've proven nothing. All you've done is make up stuff the way you want it to go. Try harder. Where do you stand. I'm telling you that it's very likely that Bacchus is still relevant and still very strong. You talk like you can see the future. You have no evidence, nothing to back up anything you've said.

How I came up with Bacchus being stronger than Natsu, Gray and Gajeel? Have you read my comments? Go to page 11 comment 202. If you are asking about now, here in the Alvarez arc I said if things go the same way it's been going with other guilds then Bacchus is gonna be strong this arc also. I said we'll find out. Do you still have an arguements why this is not legit? Give logical reasoning, not filling the holes, the unknown, with wishful thinking. If you make that slight tweak I don't know if even I'll be able to keep up. As you are now I don't know anyone better at debating, giving real reasoning and supporting info to back it up. With how aggressive you come out it gets me thinking all the time if I'm wrong. lol btw from experience, any time I've been proven wrong or just don't want to answer others, it somehow inspires the trolls to grow a backbone and target me. If that happens to you just keep on doing what you're doing and enjoy the challenge. Its nice when they come after you because you don't have to go looking for them.

I don't really think it's fair to say that Natsu contributed to that fight, except maybe by giving Erza more motivation. Erza starts attacking Ajeel after Ajeel gets distracted by Bakel. Ajeel notices this attack from a fair distance but can't avoid it. It's pretty much just a blitz. It's not like Natsu attacked Ajeel himself.
Erza definitely blitzed, but the distraction gave an opportunity. Ajeel was evading before that (bar the wind equip, which was partly a surprise attack). This is not a blight on Erza, she would have eventually landed hits sooner or later. Dodging a few hits doesn't mean you dodge forever. I actually think it's quite reasonable to suggest Erza is fast in the Wind armour as evidenced by her making hits with it while being evaded previously.

Ajeel has the best movement/mobility feats of Spriggans that have fought so far, as seen in ch457. He dodged a slash at close range and moved around Erza rather quickly. When he finally acknowledged Erza could hurt him in ch458 he also dodged a slash quickly yet again. Ajeel's CiS for thinking a sword couldn't do damage plus certain distractions definitely assisted Erza in getting some hits - but like I said she'd land them soon enough; though to win this fight she did need help here and there, just like the rest of FT so far.

I feel sorry for Erza for being underestimated, most of her fights are considered one eye, taken for granted. People should have remembered that there was Marin in Magnolia. The one who made Erza's magic didn't work properly so that she was one step left behind Ajeel.

I Quote it From The Wiki as The Summary is Good There.
"When the miniature Marin is taken out by Lucy, Erza regains control of her Requip and requips into her Wind God Armor, which surprises Ajeel, blowing much of his sand away. She then attacks him, but he easily blocks the strike.[17] Mere moments later, when Bakel is blasted through his ship by Natsu, Ajeel's averted attention is taken advantage of, and he is dealt a decisive blow to his chest by Erza,[18] due to her Sea Empress Sword, which allows her to harden sand and thus strike Ajeel, who desertifies anything that touches him. Angry that Erza managed to wound him, Ajeel summons his Sand World, which covers the ship, and the entirety of Magnolia, in a thick torrent of sand that blots out all visibility.

Ajeel then proclaims that in his Sand World, he is God, and then attacksand torments Erza while he melds and moves within his sandstorm. He ultimately grabs her, begins to suck up the moisture in her body, and promises to end her life quickly if she calls him God, but she refuses and requips into her Morning Star Armor, creating a bright light; Ajeel prepares to behead her with his Ramal Fa'as, but the Jupiter cannon is fired through the sandstorm by Bisca Connell, who could aim due to the light, and hits Ajeel and destroys his ship."So You See Even after Being able To Reequip Erza was no Match For Ajeel. It was Natsu's Punching of Bakeel and Bisca's Firing of Jupiter Canon That Saved Her.

I'd say it's Domino Effect. That's why I said "Erza was one step left behind Ajeel". Because Marin interfered, Erza couldn't use her magic and Ajeel's sand dried water out of Erza's body. You can't focus and will perform poor action when you are dehydrated.

In my opinion, comparing Erza and Natsu via Ajeel is not appropriate, since Natsu was never engaged in one full fight with Ajeel.

Yeah i honestly agree with the opinion that Erza is a at least a tier below Ajeel, Even if you believe that Marin did make a significant impact in the fight (which i think he did to some extent at least in the sense that he delayed her countering his Sand Body) Erza has no answer for Sand World so that alone makes her weaker by a decent bit than him at least in my view.

Erza was talking about their current standings or why would have she brought it up. Most of the time, scratch that, all the time their fights are gag fights. And yes I do believe her, why would she lie?

Erza was serious, she jumped straight the the armor that would give her the best chance against Laxus. Did you even read what you write, Mystogan's acknowledgment means nothing here, Laxus didn't acknowledge Erza on his and Mystogan's level so he didn't take her serious, Mystogan's acknowledgment means nothing but it wasn't Mytsognam fighting Erza. And Erza didn't get hit by Laxus huh?

She was hit in her short skirmish and immediately resorted to the Thunder Empress armor. While your points are irrelevant because Laxus would of punked Erza if the fight had went on.

No you're proving mine, Bacchus most likely fought BoS Erza who was about the same level as Natsu BoS who would literally get beaten by Max currently only proving my point Erza back then is shit tier now. This all ends up making Bacchus look not impressive because her fought Erza back then, while yes Erza did pass up Bacchus when she came back, Bacchus had poor showings and lost to Elfman you're the one thinking just because Bacchus fought BoS Erza he can keep up with er currently especially when Erza's growth rate is massive.

Again all of the dirbble is irrelevant, how does that prove Bacchus kept up with Erza when the whole basis of the arc was tha the FT team surpassed everyone who had 7 years on them, those feats makes Bacchus look good but not better than the Twin Dragons, Natsu, Gajeel and Gray like you proclaim.

Bacchus couldn't even fully break Elfman's defense, he lacked to offensive power to drop Elfman who was literally standing there taking all of his blows. I have mad up NOTHING AT ALL, i said Bacchus lost to Elfman which is a fact, nor did I say he was weak, you're claiming that Bacchus is as strong as Natsu and co which is what I disagree with you have proved nothing to imply so and you simply cling on to the fact he fought Erza awhile back which is irrelevant now.

I saw what you wrote and it made no sense, you barely even brought up Bacchus himself.

We have been watching FT for a long time now, and Erza has proven many times that she is superior to Natsu. But as time goes on things change. It had me wondering about how Natsu stands against Erza now. Im not talking about playing fighting or anything im saying a real fight. Yes they both got some new powers and transformations and upgradea. But i think its time to come to reason. Im not doubting Erza but i think its clear now that Natsu is the superior one.

What do you guys think?

Erza has Flame Empress Armor which reduces fire attacks and Erza can change requip fast enough to resist Natsu's magic and counter-attack using different armor. For me, that's Natsu's biggest weakness--he is using only one element, he should learn at least Rainbow Fire to get different properties of fire. If we forget about Flame Empress Armor, I think Erza is stronger than Natsu, but difference between them is small. So, depends on circumstances, Natsu may be able to defeat Erza, but it would be very difficult battle for him and he needs luck or tricks.
