I'd say it's some part tongue-in-cheek, but also Happy has some great speed feats.
- when he flew Natsu to Zeref, Invel said that an object was coming at them at an enormous speed
- he stopped Jacob from using Transport

Yeah the thread was made before this one but since it fits a bit more to fit the topic into Alvarez Power Rankings Miss Mr (you happy now @atomic_2000 ) @Brandish probably merged the thread into this one.

Why should DF Wendy be put over Jellal in speed? Her best speed feats are outspeeding Ezel. Jellal was fast enough to blitz the likes of Jura prior to the one year timeskip. Those feats are hardly comparable.

What does Wendy vanishing prove? That was in the perceptive of Ezel whose reaction speed feats are unknown. Racer is known for being so fast that he "vanishes" in people's eyes yet this is what happened when he tried to tag a Jellal that wasn't even using meteor:

Wendy is fast, very fast but I wouldn't place her on Jellal's level. Laxus and Jellal are not that far off each other. I say Jellal is 10, Laxus is 8,5 and DF Wendy is 5,5. do note that Wendy is only 12 years old. she has a lot of time to improve.

if you train then yes. Zeref spend most of his time in isolation iirc. plus, Wendy is one of the main characters. if she face Acnologia with other DS then she will need to grow stronger unless Hiro will let Natsu to solo everybody.

Dodging Racer isn't really a speed feat that guy can't even beat Max . Racer with the help of Cobra couldn't even connect a hit on Pre-1st TS Erza . Jellal got tagged by Neinhart's weak@ss attack yet he's some top speedster... . The guy is a slouch now.

Not sure why Racer is here, he isn't fast. His magic simply allows other users to be slower than he does which gives the perception that he's this fast, it's convenient.. Lyon solved his magic. . He probably has average movement speed. and his reaction speed is pretty meh.

No, attack speed has nothing to do with their actually speed bud. And Natsu didn't blitz '100,000' people.

The panel you show to prove so shows GLidartz and Serena like 10 meters from each other and in a couple of panels they clash. They move 5 meters in a couple of panels, how is this fast? Also, a depowered version of GS moves as fast as Glidartz in that case.

The shockwave is from the clash not from the speed.

More like Kagura was going to get tagged, and he acted as a meatshield for her.

Jellal blitzed Jura back on GMG.

They aren't that fast in combat/on the ground either. Or at least they have never shown to be.

Running through a bunch of fodders, is not impressive as a speed feat (or a feat in general for that matter).

Gotta ask why any of these two are here. Ajeel was dodging Erza pretty effortlessly. Mira.......blitzed two weak characters.

and yes running through bunch of fodders isn't a speed feat. nor for erza or natsu.

It wasn't a sneak attack, controlling the earth is what Hoteye does. And Erza was already on the ground when Racer attacked her, and he tagged her. She never avoided him so the claim that Racer could not tag Pre-TS Erza is false, or at least baseless.

Base Jellal being a fair bit faster then Pre-TS Flight Armour Erza is still impressive and telling of just how fast Jellal is. I was refuting the comparison between the two anyways.

Debatable. Bradman and DiMaria (Takeover) are pretty fast themselves, Wahl's speed ain't half bad either (equal to current base Laxus speed).
