wait, did I just read that Laxus cannot one shot Bluenote??? GMG Laxus would beat Bluenote lol. I hope that guy is joking. heck, DeS Gray and Erza can do that let alone Laxus.
Base Natsu > Laxus? Base Natsu NEVER showed something as impressive as Laxus did. Seriously, Laxus outclasses him in every feat, it's not even close. Laxus is tiers above Base Natsu, he is even still above FDKM Natsu.
Erza > Gray? That's even funnier. Gray will just instafreeze Erza. A discussion isn't even needed for this, Erza isn't as impressive as she was like 10 years ago.
This is where I rank everyone right now.
Italics are where I predict the power-levels are going to be with future power-ups.
Gaps are tiers.
List is in order, but feel free to +/- 2.
I seriously don't understand how people are ranking Gray on par with Erza, when all of his latest fights have been 2v1 (in his favor). That doesn't give Gray any good credit in terms of comparison with other guild members, because those fights weren't won because of his power alone.
Imho, Erza is above him in terms of durability, speed, and overall power. Gray may be pretty strong, but just not on Erza's level yet (taking into account his poor performance this arc, against a nerfed Ur).
I'm looking forward to his fight against Invel to reconsider my stance on this, but right now, Gray doesn't deserve to be ranked equal or above Erza in any way. His Ice Devil Slayer Magic would not be effective on her, because she's not a demon, so it would just be a slightly more powerful version of Ice Make... I honestly fail to see how this is a good argument to throw around.
Why would Mirajane even have a Mard Geer Take Over? As far as I'm concerned there was nothing left of him for her to even take over like with the other Etherious (barring Keyes)
That Mard Geer Take Over has no chances of existing at all..
Also holy shit, Base Natsu above partially demonized Gray? How is even this a thing? In Avatar we were already shown that those two's spells were cancelling each other out.
To even drive this home further there's their individual performances against the members of Avatar, their spells are equally matched in both AOE and even the general effect:
And no, the Curse Markings don't imply that Gray is using Devil Slayer Ice, we were already shown that he can use basic Ice Make spells even in that mode, so the only thing it would do is give him an increment in magic, nothing more and nothing less.
So that already equates that base Gray=Base Natsu
Base Natsu using FDK Spells is on the level of Base Gray using Devil Slaying Magic:
FDK Natsu should be on the level of Devil Slayer Gray, with the Curse Markings and full out using Devil Slaying Techniques, which we have seen little to no of in the timeskip.
DF Natsu(without the Dragonization, Idk why he should even have one in the first place, unless he somehow manages to do what Acnologia did) is on the level of Devil Force Gray
Need to an iq test to join the website, I suppose.
Most people think laxus > natsu.
What do rest think?
Debate happens when both parties are ready to admit they can be wrong. When they are ready to learn
You haven't shown anything like that from last time. So I ain't gonna talk to you.
I am ready to talk to others
Like @Indira or @Woodenstool the other gray fans. That's why I baited him.
Laxus has knocked out Natsu on more than one occasion. Natsu always admires those who are very strong, and always tries to fight them. Laxus blew up Ajeel's sand wave, Natsu wanted to fight Laxus the moment he was teleported on the ship. That proves nothing, but from the beginning of the manga Laxus has always been stronger. So it's not hard to believe Laxus is stronger than Natsu, even in this arc.
When Gajeel took Laxus hit to save Natsu it fired up Natsu to somehow beat Laxus. Same way Gray saved himself and Natsu from memento mori by taking most of the damage. Being saved by Gray, a guildmate, again gave Natsu a sudden jump in power, but this time it was df. Without the same situation, Laxus has always whooped Natsu and never took him seriously. In this arc it focused so much on Natsu's strength gain, but does not mean he is stronger than Laxus. He could be, but blowing up fodder isn't enough to prove it. Against Zeref, Natsu did not fight with his own power. Against Jacob he was able to melt his dagger from just touching his skin, and ended it in one hit. Laxus did turn bullets to dust that Wahl fired at him and I think that was just from the magic power around his body too. Maybe that would be a good match between the two, but it's not crazy to think Laxus is stronger than Natsu. Natsu beating Freed is what most people would think. Natsu beating Laxus is a tough one. The possibility is there, but odds might still be against Natsu. He isn't the strongest yet. Not in his current form, unless he can switch on df at will, turn dragon, or trains harder, he still isn't at his full potential. Stronger or not though Natsu does have greater potential. It's just a matter of time.
His attack beam was very thin and mountains are way thicker. You find the chapter yourself and you can see actual mountains next to the attack, so no, he isn't busting mountains.
If they're canon then Glidartz has poof speed, but so what, this is movement speed not attack speed, Laxus hasn't shown poof speed but he must necessarily have it in order to pull off things like this:
If those bullets are supersonic then he had time to react to them and attack them before they hit him.
Another speed feat. In one panel he moves several meters, he's so fast he has to be drawed three times.
This is likely another way to represent poof speed
Glidartz hasn't crashed anything from current Natsu. There's currently no way to know whether Glidartz can negate a mountain busting attack unless God Serena Historia's roar happened to be a mountain busting spell, which I doubt.
Problem would be if he hadn't seen it coming, but if he saw it coming and he still was pierced by it... you could actually even think he voluntarily allowed Brandish to stab him in order to have an excuse not to negotiate and go berserk.
She had a sinister face on her with a knife in her hand. August is known for learning all kinds of magics, so i'd assume he can put 2 and 2 together and notice that was a threat. But no, he got stabbed then he got butthurt at Mest. That wouldn't make sense, why would August still think shes friendly when she brings out a blade from her pocket with a bloodthirsty face?
He saw the knife and he saw Brandish. I assume either of the two:
- He didn't consider Brandish a threat and he didn't think she was being manipulated until he'd already been stabbed
- He saw it coming, but he let himself be stabbed in order to have an excuse not to negotiate.
Assuming he couldn't even dodge anyone with no cqc feats stabbing him even when he his body showcases he's got the cqc abilities and he's the king of magic would just be PiS.
They were walking for quite some time and later fly Titan Happy for quite some time so the distance from Magnolia and where August used his spell could be ( in my opinion was :P ) was quite big...
Happy take Natsu to Zeref in very fast and return with him to the guild in the same day while Zeref Army didn't arrive at Magnolia we don't even know if they was close ( and it's normal Happy we talking about )
So i agree with you that the distance was quite big
Base Natsu > Laxus? Base Natsu NEVER showed something as impressive as Laxus did. Seriously, Laxus outclasses him in every feat, it's not even close. Laxus is tiers above Base Natsu, he is even still above FDKM Natsu.
Erza > Gray? That's even funnier. Gray will just instafreeze Erza. A discussion isn't even needed for this, Erza isn't as impressive as she was like 10 years ago.
So I guess Natsu, Laxus and Gildarts can counter Age Seal just because they can?
I seriously don't understand how people are ranking Gray on par with Erza, when all of his latest fights have been 2v1 (in his favor). That doesn't give Gray any good credit in terms of comparison with other guild members, because those fights weren't won because of his power alone.

Erza is regarded as borderline fodder. If Wendy bitch slap levy, she will also be erza tier.
You literally don't have to do anything to be on erza tier.

The problem is erza was also always stronger than natsu. But he pretty much caught up with her. or that what it looks like.
So yeah natsu could be stronger than laxus.
Yeah Crim is ice, there's hardly anyone in this forum (or in the fanbase for that matter) who would put Natsu above Laxus though.
So you're from the Woodenstool team ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Huh? Well yes they did
Provide evidence please.
It doesn't imply otherwise though.
Mountains were probably 10-20 km from the guild, the attack was probably what, 400 km? Perspective.
If they're canon then Glidartz has poof speed, but so what, this is movement speed not attack speed, Laxus hasn't shown poof speed but he must necessarily have it in order to pull off things like this:

Unless they're badly overpowered by that magic: remember Zancrow's flames, they were actually hurting Natsu.
I don't think I brought up this topic to begin with but I'm not denying Natsu can eat GS's flames.
You have nothing to prove August attacks aren't mountain busting.
Don't know about Woodenstool , don't pay much attention to gildart vs August since August pretty hyped up and mishma is a like a kid.
But better be on his team or even crimson ice team. than make my own assumption to prove my assumption
I still remember your Serena low diffing 3 x erza + jura logic.
Don't know how laxus is stronger than natsu.
red lightening, dragon king punch on Jacob and Nakagami starlight seems to be around same tier list.
But maybe most people do.
Maybe you mean all stats included like durability or speed.
But natsu is pretty fast too
If natsu or anyone was drawn three times like this. Would you say that guy is nearly as fast laxus.
Erza is regarded as borderline fodder. If Wendy bitch slap levy, she will also be erza tier.
You literally don't have to do anything to be on erza tier.
Erza is like the only relevant character left in this manga, which revolves around friendship. Who's been fighting for friendship forever and whose fighting spirit is only rivaled by that of Natsu, the main character? There really isn't anyone other than Erza who can fill those shoes...
Also, when the day comes, and it will, Erza will have defeated one of the strongest Spriggans, while the rest are taking the leftovers. Rest assured that the butthurt regarding Erza's character will come tenfold this time, and there will be many tears. But that's a good thing.
But better be on his team or even crimson ice team. than make my own assumption to prove my assumption
I still remember your Serena low diffing 3 x erza + jura logic.
Because:
- Portrayal: Laxus has always been stronger than Natsu, it's obvious he'd still be
- Hype: he defeated a spriggan TOTALLY on his own (only character to do so far, Jellal doesn't count cause he teamed up with the two girls) while having two handicaps: first handicap, his enemy was immune to his magic. Second handicap, he was on the verge of dying due to his organs being pretty much melted.
- Feats: Not even Natsu's FDK demolition fist can compare to Laxus' nuke to Ajeel. Natsu is fast as hell but Laxus has actual speed feats in this arc which put him above Natsu's (unless we're talking about Igneel-Natsu, who blitzed Zeref).
@CharaRose I'd dare say in base form she's got the edge and in FDKM he mid diffs her.
Let's not forget that fate seems to rule an Erza vs Irene in which the former will be stupidly stronger than in her versus against Ajeel, which means that Erza will automatically and by miracle be a notch above Natsu yet again... I HOPE NOT!
I wonder who will fight August , I don't think Natsu will be the one since he probably going to fight the big boss again , that is zeref . Irene will fight erza August will fight who? And the same goes to larcade . They are the three powerhouse in springgan . Gray most likely will just fight invel. And lucy might go against dimaria .
I just can't think of character that might defeat August and larcade , maybe gildart but that's the only one I could think of that is relevant enough to do so.

Mirajane said she took all the souls left over from Tartarus. I'm going to take her word for it. Even without a body, it's possible that the soul still lingers around. Even if it doesn't exist, like I said the parts in italics were my predictions. The type of attacks Natsu was using in the Avatar arc against Gray and the other members were akin to the type of attacks Natsu was using against Bakyl. These are the type of attacks in which Happy can clearly tell that Natsu was holding back.
Those were all weak attacks compared to the power-house attacks Natsu can usually use. In your post, you didn't bother to mention any of Natsu's other feats, such as the attack used against the GMG stadium, or against the Alvarez troops, or against Arlock, or even the roar against Bluenote. Actually, you didn't even display the AoE of Ice-Make: Silver. Compare the AoE of Ice-Make Silver with the AoE of the punch Natsu used against Arlock by scaling the tree sizes. Also compare the AoE of that attack with the AoE of the roar used against Bluenote. When you ask me why I would put base Natsu above a partially demonized Gray, this is why.
FDK mode offers a level of power above that. The demolition fist used in chapter 495 was done in an angle in which we can't see anything in front of Natsu, and we never saw what it did to the battle field in front. Keep in mind that Natsu's demolition fist used against Jacob had even less fire, but carved a path through stone in front of him with just the air pressure and knocked out Jacob. If you want to properly compare AoE's, you have to use feats in which we can actually get a decent view on the whole scale of the attack. This would either be the demolition fist used against Jacob or Ikusatsunagi, or an FDK roar. Ikusatsunagi is a solid 3-4x more massive than the hill Natsu and Arlock were standing on, and the punch Natsu used on that hill is on the same level of Ice-Make: Silver. You can see the impact of the crater in the 2nd image over Ikusatsunagi's right shoulder. Fire Dragon King's roar is at such a scale in which the Alvarez Army is only distinguishable as dots. This is far larger in scale to Ice-Make: Silver, in which you can still clearly make out Ajeel, and Gray's features. Even the evaporation of Lake Sciliora far outmatches the scale of anything Gray has shown so far.
But more important than any AoE comparison, is what the attacks actually do and the level of opponents they were used on. Ice Devil's Zero Longsword that took out Ur scales to a regular Fire Dragon's roar that took out Bluenote. This is being generous to Gray because Gray actually combo'd with Lyon to take down Ur, whilst Natsu defeated Bluenote whilst holding Chelia up by her shirt - literally beating Bluenote one handed. Ice-make Silver, and Gray specifically went into his demonized form for this, caused no damage against Ajeel. The body heat from FDK mode alone was enough to cause Jacob to recoil in pain and dry up the lake north of the guild. The actual demolition fist knocked Jacob out cold. Lastly, Dragon Force lets you wield the power of a dragon and physically changes you. The power of a dragon is simply greater than that of a demon. Natsu already has a partial dragonized form that covers patches of his skin. If Natsu ever achieves a fully dragonized state, he would be a full Igneel tier. That would completely outpace any form Gray could possible have, unless Gray receives some sort of hax
It doesn't matter what he does. Erza attacked cobra with full confidence knowing her team will handle the rest. Racer attacked erza from behind That was also a sneak attack. Erza still didn't know her entire team was on floor. Then hot eye also attacked. That was a sneak attack.
What are you talking about? Cobra attacked, she dodged. Hoteye used his earth attack and she jumped in the air and warded off Cobra and Racer. Then she landed on her feet and Racer tagged her, she got pushed back and Cobra tagged him, effectively taking her down. It wasn't a sneak attack. The first sneak attack Racer did was him not using his magic, so it wasn't fast (Racer affects perception, if she wasn't even looking at him then he her perception of his speed is redundant).
Jellal is probably only faster than base os erza. Not souring armor erza.
She blocked Racer but she was looking at him. Btw just because she blocked the attack doesn't mean Racer did not tag her. And Racer actually attacked Jellal from behind so no.
Don't remember any speed feat from Bradman. Dimeria laser attacked pretty fast. Wahl could barely keep up with laxus. And not lb laxus.
After Hoteye jumped into the fray, before he didn't land one hit with the help of Cobra. She dodged Racer who tried to attack her from the back in her basic armor.
Neinhart threw the explosion, Kagura did not move, Jellal went in as a meatshield. There is nothing against Jellals speed here. Erza was reactionless so......if anything it shows that Jellal >>> Kagura and Erza in speed.
Jellal blitzed a casual Jura who was barely taking the fight seriously. Jura didn't know it was Jellal until he did Grand Chariot.
Terrible excuse. Prove that he did not take the fight seriously and prove that he was trying so little that his reaction speed would have wavered.
Yeah the Dragons are the fastest. Acnologia and Igneel went into the outer atmosphere mid battle in seconds and the four parent Dragons blitzed across a Super continent within seconds. They are definitely the fastest being in this entire series.
Having fast movement speed with momentum is not the same thing as having fast combat speed (see CSK), so I repeat, they have not shown to be overly fast in combat.
Running through a bunch of road blocks and past the horizon twice in a split second is definitely a speed feat. It literally involves speed to do a feat like that.
We don't know how long it took him to do it since we have no time frame of comparison. One panel is not a set number of time. Those monsters were not road blocks for Natsu, they might as well be feathers for someone of his caliber.
Mira blitzed from the Ground to the top of Mercurius Castle before Zirconis got to eat Lucy. And the top of that Castle is a couple KM in the sky.
Mira is definitely a speedster. Erza did tag Ajeel multiple time before he went into Sand World. She was also able to slash so fast you couldn't even tell she moved from her position.
She tagged him two times when his mindset wasn't exactly concentrated on the actual fight. We clearly see that he could swiftly dodge her attacks. He was doing it effortlessly at that.
Both of these girls are fast characters that do can do their attacks as fast as they move. Unlike Jellal who got tagged by Sorano's fodder angels multiple times.
Well lol, Crimson makes well argumented posts but for you to say Woodenstool makes better arguments than me feels close to an insult hehe.
Did I say GS would low diff 3 erzas + 1 Jura? Well I might have since I tend to boost Hyberion to Erza level, not Wolfheim and Warrod though.
So it would be more like 1 erza + 3 Juras. Yeah I do believe GS would low diff. How is it not logic?
It had more to do with you making an assumption to prove your assumption. So yeah it should be pretty high up.
I wished you boosted erza to laxus level instead
Hmm portrayal also put erza above natsu. At least before this arc.
He did defeat Wahl on his own. But he had ass pull and Wahl did give him power too.
mbp only seems to allow Wahl to land free hits on him like Marin did with ajeel. But I dont know.
wasn't gajeel unable to hit Bradman as well. Wasn't ajeel completely immune to swords. So don't think laxus was that outstanding
Well technically not even laxus own red lightening compares to his own nuke
So I dont know how much stronger laxus should be.
When he did that nuke against ajeel.
I thought he is pretty strong.
When erza defeated ajeel.
I thought laxus could mid diff her
After laxus defeated Wahl
I think laxus could maybe high diff erza.
Of course I have no idea about natsu. Since he hasn't gotten a good match yet. Well erza also was unable to show her new magic thanks nature of ajeel magic.
What speed feat you are talking about?
Like that panel where laxus was drawn three times, you think natsu need that to be around laxus speed.
