I think Cana might be a bit of a wild card.

She's got Fairy Glitter. Even if she's not as strong as the others... like in a 1-on-1 she'd still get beat by several in the guild... FG might be one of the strongest attacks anyone has.

Cana's running around with Gildarts right now... maybe she will help him fight August.

For the guild ranks...
Romeo
Natsu, Laxus, Gildarts
Gray, Gajeel, Erza, Mirajane
Lucy, Cana, Wendy, Elfman, Freed
Juvia, Lisanna, Bickslow, Evergreen
Not really confident on the last 2 lines.
Laxus insta nukes Natsu, Gildarts blitz Natsu from the start and throws mountain busting punches. Gray freezes Natsus fire, Erza blitz Natsu aswell, Elfman hits Natsu like he did with Sayla.

Ice Lock? Yes. Ice Slave? No. You said that Invel can just freeze Gray like he did with Mavis.
Like I said before, both spells have very similar effects and probably the same mechanics. Therefore, it is safe to assume that Ice Slave would also work on Gray. The target doesn't have to be frozen, for the caster to use Ice Slave. Invel froze Mavis to make sure she couldn't move and Zeref asked him to free her, so he simply cast Ice Slave on her instead, but they are definitely not related spells.

If you're really going to play it like this, I can say Gray hasn't always fought demons or ice mages, therefore, he is more diverse... And this statement is true because Gray didn't fight ice mages or demons in the other arcs before Tartaros.
How many of his opponents were not demons or Ice mages? Only one, as far as I can remember: Rufus. And ironically, even he did use ice spells during the fight, with his memory make...

Gray doesn't have resistance to ice attacks though... He has resistance to cold air which is different because that doesn't help him in a fight.
He's in his environment, so I don't see how that isn't an advantage, honestly.

Laxus probably won't nuke Natsu if they fight because he'd fight like he did against Wall.

Gildarts would fight Natsu just like he did God Serena. Natsu would be able to land hits, and is much stronger than Historia Serena.

Gray might be able to freeze some of the flames, but not FDK ones.

Erza can probably blitz on occasion. Tbh all these characters you listed (apart from Elfman) are about the same for speed, sans Laxus when he uses lightning to up his speed - and even then Natsu would land hits on Laxus.

Really doubt Hiro is going to unveil a mode without Natsu telling us he's entering one... just think back to when you read chapter 418 for the first time. What did you think? Natsu's flames have improved, or Natsu's developed a new mode?

Even if we assume Natsu was using FDKM, the panel I provided showed a FDK attack without being in the mode, and also Lucy/Juvia/Gray's clothes not melting off.
BDKM was saved for the Zeref f

oncr again you show no evidence that FDKM flames are hotter and can't be put out. Let's make this clear, Gray has divine ice that can freeze ANYTHING instantly.

No one can counter Gildarts speed, and be wasn't trying against God Serena. He broke his spells instantly without a sweat and threw a mountain busting punch. Natsu with his slow speeds can't even land a demolition fist on Gildarts. And if you think his FDK roar would touch him, you're wrong. Did you see that jump punch that Gildarts did? Yeah he would break Natsus spell just like that. That's considering Natsu even gets to use an attack like that before getting pulverized from the start.

Natsu would get toasted by God Serena no matter which state he's in. Demo fist and Kings roar is just fire, and Natsu phyiscal strength is bad. Natsu hits Serena with demo fist, he's immune to fire so the only damage he's taking is from Natsus physical strength.

LMAO its not supposed to do damage, is that really your argument? Its a utility move meant to blind Ajeels enemies while he gets free-will within the SW. It also gives nigh omniscience as he could assimilate into the sand.

Ajeels sand moves all have different utilities. He doesn't have many moves that are meant to do brunt damage. Sand Pit can pretty much OHKO anyone who doesn't have any explosive type attacks or can fly. That includes powerful characters like the GoI and even Spriggan like Jacob.

He activated his etherious form. Wahl did not activate his assault mode. The two should be roughly equal in boost, one used it the other did not. Its REALLY not that hard to understand.

Nope. I don't think you understand what being immune to something means. @Axiomus Summed it up extremely well, from what I read in your debate with him you seemed to be borderline denying facts so I don't bother touching on this further.

Yes it does. Your in denial. Wahls body absorbs lightning and converts it into power. Laxuses lightning coat(s) enhance HIS OWN BODY, they do not damage someone elses. Lightning coat is proof of this. The fact that Laxus CONTINUES coating his punches in lightning even after he is told lightning is useless against Wahl is also PROOF of that.

Really? Is this whole entire post your argument?

If you even bothered going back and reading my previous post, I covered all of these topics. I have nothing left to explain to you.

Since, I don't feel like explaining the 16-page essay that I wrote on this thread again, then I'll just leave you to think whatever you like.

I won't be able to convince you at the end of the day, so there is no point for me continue any further.

But before I give you the last post, I honestly don't know what you are talking about when you said @Axiomus summed it up pretty well.

If you gave me specifics, I could go back and re-read my debate with Axiomus.

But because you didn't provide anything, then I have no clue what you are talking about.

It seems you are trying to grasp at anything to make me seem like I'm in denial.

I haven't denied anything, I've simply explained it in a way that makes sense, instead of false-claiming.

I can't name all Gray's previous opponents from the top of my head but Gray did fight people like Bickslow, Juvia, Racer, Wendy + Mest, Ultear, etc.

He's in his environment, so I don't see how that isn't an advantage, honestly.
It isn't an advantage because his opponent who also uses the same element as him is in the same environment. And because his opponent can also resist ice attacks, that automatically makes Gray at a severe disadvantage.

Go ahead and have the last word because this is clearly not a topic that we will agree on.

Yes, just like your assumption that Gray would still be victorious if Juvia wasn't there to save him... It holds no basis or proof, either.
And I honestly don't see how Gray breaking through Ice was impressive, considering he's an Ice mage. Natsu, without even trying, was far more impressive in that department, as he was not only able to free himself, but also to melt the ice in his close vicinity.

I can't name all Gray's previous opponents from the top of my head but Gray did fight people like Bickslow, Juvia, Racer, Wendy + Mest, Ultear, etc.
I honestly don't recall most of these fights, but I can already see two opponents against whom Gray had an advantage.

That's actually the same to me, but it's more of an advantage than a disadvantage, because you already know what you're up against and how to successfully counter the attacks.

Natsu tried, every complained about it being cold and Natsu set the place ablaze. And that didn't work, he along with his fire got frozen without even noticing who did it. Invel has insane range, and Natsu is slow. Invel would just slap Natsu around with ice attacks from a distance.

Oh but wait "FDK flames are too hot" evidence please?

oncr again you show no evidence that FDKM flames are hotter and can't be put out. Let's make this clear, Gray has divine ice that can freeze ANYTHING instantly.
I am assuming on Natsu's behalf, since the feats he has with them are quite substantial.

Gray might have acquired divine ice. I think it's possible, but not sure yet.

No one can counter Gildarts speed, and be wasn't trying against God Serena. He broke his spells instantly without a sweat and threw a mountain busting punch. Both Bluenote and God Serena have landed hits on Gildarts. So in fairness, Natsu should be able to hit Gildarts as well.

It's quite possible that Gildarts can crack Natsu's spells.

Natsu would get toasted by God Serena no matter which state he's in. Demo fist and Kings roar is just fire, and Natsu phyiscal strength is bad. Natsu hits Serena with demo fist, he's immune to fire so the only damage he's taking is from Natsus physical strength.
Serena is resistant to fire, so he's still able to be hurt. Demolishing Strike is still a punch, so it would do damage on Serena.

Natsu missed, end of story.
2+2=5 because I say so, end of story... :imslow

I wanna see Natsu one shot bluenotestinger with pure strength, no magic.
Oh, he would...

That's right, he can't. He barley moved Jacob an inch.
You think your posts make sense yet they are so ridiculous sometimes...
1st: Do you know whether Natsu was using his 100% physical strength when he dealt with Jacob?
2nd: Do you know the difference in constitution, physical durability and strength of Jacob?
3rd: Do you know Bluenote's? Can you compare them at all?
4th: Why do you believe Bluenote is phisically stronger than Natsu?
5th: You do understand Natsu's defeated opponents with more MP than his own, probably because he's stronger in terms of phisicallity
6th: Even if you had sound reasons to believe so, don't you understand that Natsu phisically has grown stronger than most of the characters because Mashima wanted it this way?
7th: Even if point 6 was untrue, it is unimportant whether a character is phisically stronger or weaker, what is important here is if s/he can defeat an opponent, no matter the method. And the truth is, Natsu can defeat Bluenote by blowing on him. If you deny to accept that it's on you. It's also on you that you always use borderline canon or not canon material in your arguments, or that you rely on pre-pre-timeskip feats (pre-7, Tenrou) when even current Lisanna could likely defeat Tenrou Glidartz by now (that's obviously an exaggeration, but you definetely need to understand Tenrou characters are weakass by current standards, even Tenrou top-tiers are weak now).

You keep assuming characters this, characters that. Heck you might not like Natsu, I personally don't particularly like him over other characters! But you need to stop saying he's slow when you have no proof he is. He didn't use his top speed because he hasn't had the need to just yet!
You're the type of person who would defend that Natsu is slower than Wendy because Wendy showed poof speed (yeah, and pre-ts!) whereas Natsu hasn't just yet! That's a fallacy, I think anyone with certain common sense understands that. Natsu is faster than Wendy but he hasn't shown poof speed, do you understand that?
You get to say Natsu is not fast when he loses a physicall fight in which he used his top speed yet he lost because he didn't show significant speed feats. Not before.
Honestly it's like saying Zeref is not a mountain buster because he didn't bust a mountain. OFC he can bust a mountain if he wants! He is a top tier. Acnologia freaking casually busts islands, Zeref can 99% certainly bust mountains.

I'll just leave a post I made earlier, elaborating about why comparing the Historias is pointless:

About HistWahl and HistMan, there is a fairly good reason why HistMan may have gone Third Seal. First off, the First Seal wouldn't affect Rogue, he's a Dragon Slayer meaning that his lungs are "made of shadows" (as much as I hate this explanation it's canon). His Second Seal was likely an annoyance, this is a heavily nerfed version of Bradman so it makes sense that his Second Seal would be much weaker, and Bradman's Second Seal doesn't even look like it's been activated given the fact there's no field of bones or skulls anywhere. As for Over Skelter, I highly doubt he's used it considering that in the Gajeevy fight he only used it after they withstood the barrage of curses.

Something I would like to draw attention to is that HistMan may only have a heavily nerfed version of his Three Seals, throughout HistMan vs Rogue we've only seen them trade physical blows, we haven't seen HistMan use any of his offensive curses (MBP's won't work, no "field of bones", no 9DG curses) so it's entirely possible that HistMan only has his intangibility (which Rogue can counter), a heavily nerfed Three Seals and his H2H skills. Basically, this version would be much weaker.

To be fair the above could be said for Wahl too, we've only seen him using basic explosions, he hasn't gone Assault Mode and he hasn't used anything besides those basic attacks. Also (just in case someone argues this) there would be no point in prolonging either fight so while both Historias are winning at the moment, they're not stomping at the slightest, if either of them could beat their opponents quickly they'd do it and then move on to fight someone else.

What I'm basically saying is that there is no point in comparing their Historias, both have been heavily nerfed and have barely shown anything and the only thing we gain from comparing them is skewed information as both of them have lost much of their skill set. If any comparison is to be made between the two it should be how the actual versions of them perform as we have actual evidence there whereas we're speculating here.

Na I don't think thats how it works. Gajeel is basically a metal man, he has screws and everything so it stands to reason that his lungs could potentially be metal and its still feasible (there are even such things as prosthetic hearts). Laxuses lungs aren't made out of lightning, he just has abnormally powerful ones. We did not get much of a glimpse on the battle between Rogue and Bradman, there could be skulls though thats besides the point.

We don't know whether he used curses or not, he may have and he may have not. Either way, point is that if Bradman and Wahl were equal Bradman would be in base against Rogue right now and even then we would have to assume that Minerva ain't downright stronger then Rogue as well as consider DF and Drive non-factors. Unless you wanted to claim that Etherious gives Bradman a bigger boost then assault mode does for Wahl (i'd argue its the opposite).

To be fair the above could be said for Wahl too, we've only seen him using basic explosions, he hasn't gone Assault Mode and he hasn't used anything besides those basic attacks. They aren't stomping but they seem to be Easy-Diff them since there is no visible damage and they don't seem to be showing any signs of exhaustion. In Bradmans case I'd argue its more of a Mid-Diff fight since he is in his strongest state (even if he isn't using the curses, which I would question).

Except its not really intricate. Minerva should be stronger then Rogue (I am even assuming that base Rogue is full power Rogue here for Bradman). Wahl is defeating her in base. Bradman is defeating Rogue in etherious form. Its pretty straight forward IMO. Wahl gets massively underrated for whatever reason. He's easily in the top 5 among the Spriggan. Immune to 95% of hax (due to his machina disposition and weakness magic) and raw power close to Laxuses. Bradmans lower on the spectrum because the curses are somewhat outdated (the only one that still holds up is Tenchi Kaimei but even thats kinda eh by Spriggan standards). Ima wait till DiMaria uses Age Seal against a Spriggan (namely Brandish) before making a Spriggan rankings with full detail.

Yes, we are comparing a persons pre time skip feats to the current Natsu.

"I've shown no proof that Natsu is slow"
I mean everyone read the latest chapter, he missed his first punch because Neinhart dodged it.

You said Natsu would one shot bluenotestinger without using any fire spells with his hands. Where's your evidence?

Natsu wasn't even phasing Jacob with his fire punches.
http://www.mangapanda.com/fairy-tail/478/5
Read the chapter. Natsu wasn't phasing Jacob at all, even his fire claw combined with Lucy only moved him a few meters.

Bluenotestinger and Gildarts were trading blows that were causing huge explosions and magic wasn't involved. Gildarts used one crash infused punch and one shot him. Gildarts used magic a few times in the fight, and Natsu isn't retarded. He didn't accidentally make a huge roar, he knew him from the past as a threat.

Natsu had to punch Neinhart while being pushed back by a whirlwind. Not an accurate representation of his speed.

Natsu barely phased Jacob because he was holding back, the moment he was able to go all out Jacob went down with one attack.

I do hope you realize that if Gildarts and Bluenote were trading blows that, as you say, "were causing huge explosions", then Gildarts beating him with a crash infused punch ISNT a oneshot. Pretty simple concept to understand.

He was in FDKM when he entered the stadium, Happy himself remarked that he wasn't holding back, the series always makes a point to show off when Natsu isn't holding back, like when he was kicked out of the Guild by Makarov to chase after Lessio, they all knew he was holding back..
Honestly I think people slightly overlook the fact that he was in FDKM in the GMG since when he uses base flames later on no one's clothes came off
He was in Base state in GMG.For the first time we hear about FDKM was in chapter 464.Moreover he had intense aura in FDKM which he lacked at that time. The stadium started melting after he actually attacked.Compare it in FDKM where Jacob started writhing in pain even before he actually attacked.

Fair enough, my bad. I'm actually glad tbh, it means Bradman can deal with DS's more effectively.
We did not get much of a glimpse on the battle between Rogue and Bradman, there could be skulls though thats besides the point.
I think it's fair to speculate that his Second Seal hasn't been activated, in his fight with Gajeel the field of bones were still there long after his activation of the Second Seal. It's for this reason that I'm almost certain that the Second Seal hasn't been used.
It's hard to measure how much of a boost his Etherious form gives him, he didn't exactly do much for going into his Etherious form. In fact I'd say that proves his Etherious form gives him a great boost, he only started using the 9DG curses when he went Third Seal and he can only use his most powerful curse (Over Skelter) in that form. With the above being said I would argue that his Etherious Form gives him a greater boost than Wahl's Assault Mode.
As I raised above, I don't think it's fair to judge Bradman going Third Seal as him being pushed, as we've only seen him use the First and Second Seals in his base mode. The fact that we haven't seen his Historia use any curses in the Third Seal form is an indicator that he can't use them now, as the first thing he did against Gajeel was spam the 9DG curses whereas against Rogue he's just using CQC. To put it bluntly, he may have been nerfed so hard that he only has his Three Seals (which would be heavily nerfed) and CQC. The fact that's he's against Rogue doesn't help either as Rogue can also go intangible, meaning that one of his main advantages (MBP body) is moot.
As I mentioned above, HistMan is up against someone who bypasses his best defense and is a CQC fighter, with all the evidence we can get from the few panels we have HistMan hasn't been shown using any curses whatsoever and he's still winning his fight with ease, the same ease as Wahl.

Again, I'm not arguing Bradman > Wahl (I see them as equals or Wahl slightly stronger due to anti-MBP gun) but I think comparing their Historias is pointless, as both of them have been incredibly nerfed (Bradman going from soloing Sabertooth to being challenged by Rogue, Wahl going from keeping up with Laxus to being challenged by Minerva). If we want to compare them we should judge them by their feats when they were still alive, otherwise we're comparing a Historia that can't use any of the 9DG curses and is up against someone who bypasses his best defense, to a Historia that can't use any of his best attacks but still isn't up against a natural counter.

Yes, we are comparing a persons pre time skip feats to the current Natsu.
Nice how you evaded most of what I said.

Well, then, I honestly don't know what you're trying to discuss here. Since Natsu can oneshot Tenrou Glidartz, Tenrou Bluenote, Tenrou Hades, Tenrou Makarov and Tenrou the rest easily. If you fail to see that, you have a problem.

"I've shown no proof that Natsu is slow"
I mean everyone read the latest chapter, he missed his first punch because Neinhart dodged it.
1. It is debatable whether Neinheart dodged it or it kind of hit him but OK, let's assume he dodged.
2. He's a spriggan. Remember the hype of the spriggan? Unprecedented hype which said that one of them could solo the guild, that they were above Makarov in terms of MP, etc... Why could he not dodge a punch from Natsu?
3. He's an enhanced spriggan. Who was immune to Brandish. Completely immune. Understand why it's rather sound that he dodges a punch from Natsu and that does not make Natsu slow?
4. Natsu was fast enough to punch him for a second time, that time he did it faster because the first time he wasn't fast enough for Neinheart, so he modified the speed. Which means, Natsu hasn't used his full speed yet.

You said Natsu would one shot bluenotestinger without using any fire spells with his hands. Where's your evidence?
It is pointless to argue about pre-TS feats or characters who have pre-TS abilities, and I mean Tenrou characters. Natsu's evolved way too much to be compared to the likes of Bluenote even just in phisicallity.

Natsu wasn't even phasing Jacob with his fire punches.

Read the chapter. Natsu wasn't phasing Jacob at all, even his fire claw combined with Lucy only moved him a few meters.
1. Jacob might've well be using magic to defend from magical attacks.
2. I don't think there was a pure physical battle there. All of Natsu's attacks are fire-imbued. It'd be interesting to see what'd happen if both Jacob and Natsu didn't have magic. So you're talking about an hypothetical case scenario that did not happen.
3. During that brawl in the guild, we can't know what would happen if it was a pure h2h combat since they were using magic; but we do know that during that fight, both were unfazed, with mild scratches. That does not necessarily prove Jacob being superior.

Both were using their magics before empyrean. Re-read the fight.

Also, what @Daniel9dsi said

The only thing I might agree with you on this post is this: "He didn't accidentally make a huge roar, he knew him from the past as a threat." You can very well interpret it that way and it is correct.

Bloodman didn't solo them in the second day.Sting did say that all 3 of them soloed entire ST,BP.And powerwise Wahl is above.Wahl's attacks seriously injured Laxus while Bloodman's attacks though injured Gajeel but not to the extent of Wahl's injury on Laxus.
