Watch the end of Gildarts vs BlueNS. He was several meters away and was in his face and punched him instantly. That shows you Gildarts wasn't going all out.

Lol I get what you're trying to say, even if you didn't word it correctly, but still... Fairy Tail doesn't do hax speeds so anyone who's noticeably faster, which is often hard to tell in manga unless specifically told so, is always impressive in this series

The only way really tell if someone is high speed in this manga is stuff like after images (Jellal, Laxus), reputable character statements or blitzing top tiers (Acnologia). Prime Gildarts is fast, not Jellal/Laxus fast, but fast enough to be FTE to fodder. Tenrou Gildarts was fairly average, faster combat speed than Natsu but nothing special. Which makes sense considering he is a lot older and missing a proper leg and is half made of metal.

I've trail is cannon to the story so I don't get your point. Gildarts has shown to insane speed in the main story aswell.

What insane speed? Manga speed is very hard to tell without a character acknowledging that speed. Just because Gildarts appeared from several meters right to Bluenote's face in like a panel doesn't mean he has "flash speed".

Well you're not exactly right. The feat does matter because the feat itself depends on the character they're doing it against. I think that was your point, but you just worded it incorrectly.

I'm not trying to prove why the characters I showed are super fast. The basis of Woodenstool's argument is that since character x was several meters away from character y in one panel and then character x appears right next to character y in the next panel character x should be super duper fast. I'm showing why that logic is flawed. The character getting blitzed is irrelevant to the argument.

Gildarts several meters away and attacking before Natsu notices. This proves in fact that Natsu is indeed slower than Gildarts.

Exactly. All of my examples have been of Gildart's pre-timeskip. We are comparing Natsu as he is now to the version of someone a year before. Natsu's laser lightning beams of death don't mean jack shit if Gildarts blitzes Natsu and starts throwing mountain busting punches faster than Natsu can react. They also don't mean jack shit if Gildarts destroys them before they touch him. I also guarantee Gildarts is stronger than he was a year ago.

Gildarts busted a mountain casually, and Natsus spells aren't that size. Gildarts would break all of Natsus spells without a sweat.

Gildarts casually punch on the ground has a huge range. He would easily break Natsus FDK roar just like that.

Think about it, if Gildarts went all out. He would be throwing multiple mountain busting punches instantly. Those punches are infused with crash and would break all of Natsus spells. What counter argument do you have now?

Natsus spells too large, he's too fast, etc. I've already refuted all your claims bud.

I dont agree with after image part. And i think you would agree with me when i show you that erza also has produced after image.

Erza sliced through Neinharts guards like tofu. And we can assume those guards are equal across the board for each spriggan. Meaning Mirajane had to use her most op form to take them out. Just because she made nukes and evaporated a part of the ocean, doesn't mean her feats are better than Erza.

Lol, Lucy would stomp Juvia. What's she going to use? Water slicer? Lol. Her cow form would melt her with ease.

I have her near Mirajane's level right now.

Freed, especially Freed during Phantom Festival, isn't beating her. Current Freed might be on her level though, seeing as he was able to smash Wall's alternate bot and create a barrier around Magnolia.

That's not even close to a reasonable comparison. First of all, Zeref DOES have feats that prove he isn't weak. Secondly, Zeref has humongous hype while Mirajane has zero.

Alegria takeover is Mirajane going all out. It uses most of her magical power and leaves her in a state of exhaustion. Zeref is immortal and can tank blows from Igneel powered Natsu. Spriggan 12 members have been oneshotted by Natsu without Igneel's power. There's no reason to believe Zeref is weak in the first place. Even without going all out, Zeref is at the very least above most Spriggan 12 members.
