That's false equivalence. FDKM giving a boost in speed is a hell of a lot more reasonable than your hypothetical Gray powerup. Dragon Force has already been shown to boost speed. Why can't FDKM?
Just because someone thing more reasonable than another doesn't mean they're both unreasonable, heck Natsu's power up is more unlikely because we've seen it twice and we've seen no massive speed boost. If DF can boost speed why can't FDKM? Because DF=/=FDKM.
Please stop, Wodden has mad no good point whatsoever. He assumed everything called 'a laser' is lightspeed which is just factually incorrect, while even then Sting's roar was called a laser which would make these so-called light speed reactions not impressive anymore, while Wodden has also tried to say Gildarts' is the fastest in the show because he makes a fucking poof sound when moving..............which indicates nothing to super high-speed movement. You know what else makes a fucking poof? A fart. Wodden has failed multiple times to make any decent points and he isn't good to make any good points anytime soon.

Nobody in FT is light speed, stop this bullshit, I know this thread hasn't sunk this low.
I've seen people on Reddit use the term "poof" speed as a way to showcase his speed. It's just another way to say he vanished, Natsu has never done that in the series.

Um, I'm not the one saying they're both unreasonable. That's YOUR claim, isn't it?
The first time we saw FDKM we didn't get to see much of the fight afterwards, and the second time we saw it Natsu was already flying through the air. So there's nothing really there to indicate that FDKM doesn't give a speed boost.
Yes DF is different than FDKM but in terms of their effects and their purposes they're pretty similar.
Gildarts blitzed Bluenotestinger when he first arrived to fight him. He couldn't react to Gildarts, they weren't fighting evenly, Every time they punched one another, Bluenote was pushed back.
Bluenotestinger-"me? Pushed back?"
When his magic power returned, Gildarts grabbed his leg and blitzed him. Then after that, Gildarts blitzed him once again with his crash punch that sent so much force that it blew away the clouds.

....
Are you serious? I can't believe I'm seeing something like this....
How the hell does disagreeing with someone lead to you dropping the Sexist Bomb?
If you'd read some of the past "debates" Stoll has pitched... Well... Just read them and come back later...

Yes and? They're both unreasonable, heck Gray#s trump card is more reasonable because it could be a lot of things while we know what Natsu's mode does. Again neither of those instances are my fault, nothing hints to a big speed boost are or speed boost at all, nothing indicates that FDKM, at all.
Oh your saying we barely saw FDKM but yet you can say it's similar to DF? Please, stop, Jacob is beating Natsu.

Yea that was a blitz. But Bluenote didn't really see it coming. When they were fighting though - which is the most important thing - Gildarts speed was essentially irrelevant.
I'll concede Gildarts was stronger. But his Bluenote was trading blows with him, they took similar damage. If it's not a clean even bout or 50/50, then I'd say it's like 55/45 at best in Gildarts favour.
That's not a blitz. Gildarts didn't need to blitz him he was at Bluenote's feet. He used his power to send Bluenote flying. And Empyrean wasn't a blitz either. Landing a punch doesn't qualify as a blitz.
Now you're changing your argument? And stop this regular punches malarky, Gildarts can't even properly control his magic on a regular basis let alone in a fight, he was using crash.

They were separated from each other after Gildarts destroyed his black hole. Right after that, Gildarts did his speech and sent him flying up at high speeds. The shockwave had enough force to divide the clouds, that was Gildarts first magic empowered punch and it took him out. Bluenotestinger used his black hole and gravity all of which was broken apart.

I'm saying that DF is similar to modes like LFDM and ISDM because they all basically do the same thing. They boost the user's stats. There's nothing that indicates FDKM is any different than those modes in terms of its effects.
I never said they were your fault, and the nature of the modes we've seen in the series does suggest that FDKM could quite possibly boost speed.
Anyways, it's clear that neither of us are going to change our positions and what we're arguing about is purely speculation anyways. Let's just agree to disagree.
Laxus' lightning allowed Natsu to flat out blitz Hades.

They were about 2 metres apart. The blackhole pulled Gildarts towards Bluenote. After he cracked it, he used Empyrean. What Empyrean did has nothing to do with Gildarts speed.

DF is similar to LFDM and ISDM but not FDKM, for almost all these mode they've required an external source of magic power (apart from DFNatsu in tarturus and now Wendy). Only thing in common is that they're transformations. Nothing in the series implies that Natsu gets a speed boost, every form isn't the same.
Don't change your mind it's fine, it still stand as of right now Natsu would lose to Jacob and all you have is some flimsy assumptions for Natsu's side.

You do know that manga artists can't or won't draw out every single motion right? That was from BN's perspective, and BN only remarked on Gildarts being able to break free of his gravity magic, not his speed
Oh, what's this? Gildarts accidentally destroying a whole town because he can't control his magic?

Natsu blizted him because of the increase of magical power with that form, though later on the boost goes away but I wasn't arguing that.
You Gildarts D-huggers don't know a lot about him, that or selective reading.
