The manga even shows him charging his fist and the next panel was him in the air. Hiro also does the anime, I'm pretty sure he made that scene clear. He's the one picking out the voice actors for the spriggan 12.

Gildarts seemed fine after just an angry punch that leveled a mountain.

I've seen the TMF and that people said he fragmented it which is wrong because in the anime it show it being destroyed.

Hiro has control of the anime, so it is a credible source. He is the one choosing the spriggan 12 voice actors, he's the one switching studios for the anime.

The fights this arc need to be fluid because this is the final arc for Fairy tailz

Please show me the source that states that Hiro has control over the anime.

Also if we play the "Anime is more trust worthy than the actual source material" game than that would mean other characters would get upgrades (especially Natsu) due to the fact that the anime is known for inflating feats quite a bit.

@Woodenstool @AsunaIsMyBae You two need to stop. Saying Gildarts is the second strongest character in the series is really insane. Crash is cool and all, but do you really think he could defeat the leagues of Zeref and August with it? It doesn't even make sense judging by the portrayal of these two. You also have no right to call other people biased here.

Other than haxy Spriggans I can't see any of the Spriggans 'stomping' Gildarts tbh, possibly Irene, August or Larcade since we're just going off hype with them, but otherwise I don't think so.

His fights with Bluenotestinger and God Serena showed tell you that he is indeed faster than Erza, Natsu, Laxus.

Those lazers by the way came from machines, not magic. So it's safe to assume that they were going at the speed of light... Did I just contradict myself? Yikes.

1- This is not Fairy Tail it's a spinoff so it's not canon. Unless Mashima says so. As for the filler arcs, they are not canon because although the events of one were referenced later on in the manga, some events are inconsistant if to be taken as canon. It is also not cannon because it was not written by Mashima nor drawn by him. And even if it were canon:
2- What do you base your claim they're the speed of light from?
3- You can even see this is no light, it actually looks like rounded bullets and they have kind of like a pattern in it.
3- You do understand that if he were Mach 3526970 he could blitz every single spriggan and even Acnologia right?

Tell me how the other points of her still stand please... Actual feats from Glidartz:
- Mid diffing Bluenote (Natsu can oneshot him)
- Destroying a big hill (not impressive anymore)
- Defeating 30% of God Serena with mid difficulty (he got injured and scratched)

Compare this to Natsu two-shotting a 120% spriggan (he was enhanced). Yes Neinheart is weaker than God Serena, but they can't be compared in their states: Neinheart was enhanced (+) whereas God Serena was severely downplayed by the historia (-).

Natsu's feats are currently better than Glidartz's, even if I like Glidartz much more than Natsu. People just need to accept it.

If Gildarts used crash punches, the entire area would've been demolished, no actually the island would.
