dude brandish said that it would be more accurate to call him the "strongest individual " and then explained it more by saying that both august and irene share the title "the strongest individual" which means that power wise irene is at best august's equal which is my opinion and i think that that the fact that august was the one to be chosen as a general and the one to be dealt with last proves that he could even be slightly stronger .

silver wasn't the leader and not to mention that he didn't die as an antagonist while koyoka did , and jura and minerva aren't antagonists they are allies so the rule doesn't apply to them and just so that you know you are free to not be convinced by that logic but i personally have seen it in most of the situations in a lot of mangas so i really don't see any reason as to why it shouldn't apply to this situation .

Cs are fodder without jellal. Jura takes them out himself.
Jellal has shown nothing to be equal to erza. Enhanced erza is whole different story.

Me thinking that jellal is stronger than erza is my personal opinion and its not even the main topic here , i said that august took down crime sorciere without even attacking and erza is weaker than them combined and you say "Cs are fodder without jellal. Jura takes them out himself" , i ask you about whether jellal was one shotted by neinhart or the other way around and you still didn't answer it , stop changing the subject lol

Then kagura saved him
Then jellal took five minutes to charge a spell which was as strong as yelling natsu punch or below that spell one shot nienhart

You know when people were asking about what happened to the sky

As for 1vs 2 and 6 vs 1
People hype dehype according to their desires
The above example could be constructed as erza is stronger than cs. Or irene is a fodder to august
People decided to go with standard erza has to be weak line rather than manga hype


People tend to hype who ever they want.

Erza rekt midnight low diff. Crime CS are fodder, the only relevant members are Jellal and Cobra.

Cs without jellal are as strong as tartarus erza at best. They counldnt even take out tartarus jellal. And they were actually working tigether then

There is one problem there
Natsu doesnt defeat the strongest opponent
His contract clearly says he takes out a normal opponent. And the boss.
The boss should technically be zeref

Irene >= august
Feats
Irene >>>>> august

i am not discussing whose stronger erza or jellal because this just a personal belief of mine that i can't back up yet so i really can't argue with you about it .
anyway you have to admit that fighting irene is different from fighting august , when both erza and wendy ganged up on irene , wendy enhanced erza's power to be able to withstand irene's basic attacks while helping her in fighting her too but we all saw what happened when irene got serious , she gave her one hit that broke most of her bones , however august fight against crime sorciere is much much different because he didn't even have to attack at all let alone get serious , all he did was to turn their magic up against them as if he was teaching them lol , its only up to you to figure out which one was more impressive , however my point stands still which is that dragon irene's feats aren't really superior to august's feats .

I totally agree with you he definitely can do that to dragon irene (or even human irene imo)
but do you really think that someone other than jellal will end up defeating august after all this dramatic build for the fight ?

Soloing Jellal, a top tier arguably on par or even stronger than Erza by himself, as well as the rest of his guild is definitely equal to shattering Erza's bones.

The benefit of the doubt will be given to those who havent been shown at their limits yet. So yeah, a fairly large group of people that doesnt include Erza

You realize Hiro doesn't plan everything. He writes each chapter weekly.

Doesnt mean he doesnt have a game-plan. He planned out Natsu and Gajeel being over 80 many years before it was revealed. For all we know he's always had Erza's mum in the back of his head. Eileen being the creator of DS magic suggested that yeah, she had a fair bit of planning out.

depends on who fights Irene next.

if its Acnologia and she puts up a fight then she is WAY above.

if Laxus fights with huge advantage then she is slightly above.

nah, Jellal got owned badly. he can barely stand at this point.

he will need to get a huge PoF. maybe even the biggest in FT history to fight August.

Look i agree erza as strong if not stronger than laxus. But how the hell is jellal on par with erza with only two feats.
One being knocked out by nienhart nuke
And two powering up a mid tier move so that it had enough power to rival natsu un named punch

If august break every single bone in laxus body with one punch. I will agree he is near irene.
