Erza's power was nothing but max PoF. It's made clear cut especially when she was able to jump down on Irene with broken bones and then one shot her dragon form. :l

Well it was more Wendy's DS advantage that led to Irene being one shotted in her Dragon form rather than Erza herself doing any damage.

Maybe, but that would mean Irene's master enchantments are comparable to Brandish' casual manipulation abilities... and that's not something I buy so easily. These scenario's seem reasonable aside from that.

I think we might be downplaying Deus Sema a bit. Sure Erza smashed it, but she had Makarov's power (which I am still unsure WTF that is) and/or POF to the max. The broken bones bit makes it even more suspect... Deus Sema > Jellal's True HBM is something I believe is true for sure.

At the very least August will stop Deus Sema. I'd back the stronger Isghal wizards too. Because really the only time I felt enchantments were decent offensively was when Acnologia got sent flying.

I dont doubt the damage Deus Sema would do should it hit, just what would happen if it was intercepted by a mass of rock far larger mid air.. Deus Sema is definitely above Jellal's True Heavenly Body magic, and would deal far more damage than if Brandish dropped island sized rocks on people. I just think that If Deus Sema would hit a island sized rock mid air, it would not simply drill through it, it would explode. Its the main reason i put Brandish pretty high in the gauntlet, cause imo stopping Deus Sema with an island sized rock would be more effective than what Jellal, God Serena and maybe Wahl(bar Etherion) could do.

PoF can be used as an argument but only to a certain extent. If Erza with broken bones is able to destroy a meteor, PoF or not, i genuinely believe any decent character (Laxus, Natsu, Gray, Gildartz..) would be able to.

Overall i agree with you, though Mirajane is placed quite low in your list. Care to explain why? I know that she has no feat but damn. At least she's shown something new in her arsenal, whereas Erza showed no improvements aside from her Bunny form. WHy is there such a gap between them when they were always portrayed as equals?
If you're judging her only by feats i have to agree with you though. But yeah, kinda harsh for her :S

I'd think that Mira is more suited to combat that, say, Lucy or even Wendy... Som of her TakeOvers are just oriented towards fighting. But yeah, Hiro trashes her.
At least she's going to put Jacob in the dirt (albeit off paneled )

5. FDKM Natsu, Laxus, Gildarts

I rank FDKM Natsu right up there alongside Laxus, both have had pretty comparable feats this arc. Gildarts is up there just cuz he's Gildarts

3. DeS Gray

Gray has his own little spot here; not quite as strong as Natsu or Laxus, but still stronger than characters like Erza.

2. Erza, Gajeel, WSDM Sting, Jellal

The last couple of chapters have not changed my opinion in the slightest about Erza's ranking, anything PoF for her get automatically thrown out the window. Gajeel has shown somewhat similar feats this arc. WDSM Sting with Rogue's mp was barely able to take out Larcade so without it I'd place him here. Jellal's only feat this arc was oneshotting Neinhart so I can't put him any higher than this.

The rest of the characters aren't Spriggan level and aren't worth mentioning (yes that includes Mirajane @BluePegasus )

Spriggan rankings will probably come later when I have time.

Hmm... Pretty solid list. I'm curious as to why some characters are a little low. But I'm looking forward to your Spriggan list!

Erza is done fighting Irene. Mirajane is still fighting Jacob. Implications.
I don't mind if people say Mirajane is on Lucy's level or the GOI's level.

Rating some of these characters is a mess due to Hiro's writing. Erza based off her fight with Ajeel should be somewhere near Spriggan level given her nerfs but obviously her performance in the most recent chapter with easily destroying Irene's strongest dragon form attack with one sword whilst having all her bones broken says otherwise. Natsu and Gray are pretty close to each other at the moment, fight was pretty equal with Gray having a buff due to Natsu being a partial demon but then I factored in Gray's trump card that he plans to use against Zeref so I just made them equal. Jellal initially looked like he was up around Laxus level or even higher when he casted Grand Chariot one shotting Neinhart with major emphasis on how that spell changed the environment, however Natsu rendered his only feat obsolete by casually one shotting a enhanced Neinhart so now Jellal's best feat is Grand Chariot's environment changing. Mira's feats aren't as great as I want them to be, she needed to use her strongest form to beat Juliet and Hynne and whilst she curbstomped them, the form doesn't last anywhere near as long as it should to rank her higher. Hoping we see better feats against Jacob but I doubt it. I don't think I need to explain why the Gods of Ishgar as so disappointing. Didn't rank Gildarts in there because he is a bit of a wild card, he could be sitting somewhere around Gajeel/Mira level or he could be up near Laxus.

I assume her Sayla form is decently powerful with Macro but her lack of stamina is what puts her at the bottom of the barrel.
