base hades didn't have a chance which is why he went on to use his demon eye version. Zero isn't close to hades level so comparing DF natsu to team natsu plus laxus isn't worth debating on. The fact of the matter is DF natsu didn't dominate zero. Doesn't matter how powerful their attack is hades the fact of the matter is he tanked combination by team natsu
For me, what matters more is the end result. I agree that LFD Natsu overwhelmed Base Hades. But DF Natsu actually defeated Zero which is more significant in my opinion.

Also, I disagree with the notion that Zero isn't even close to Hades' level. If you're talking about Hades with his heart, then I would agree. But without it, I don't think he is that strong. In fact, I believe a full-powered Laxus would be able to defeat him. And Laxus is comparable to Jellal, who I think was around Zero's level during the Oración Seis Arc.

As for Hades tanking Team Natsu's attacks, I still don't believe that was an outstanding feat. Anyways, I don't think we'll agree, so I'll let you have the last word.

DF Natsu didn't have much difficulty against Zero.He surely dominated him by a great margin. The only thing Zero did noteworthy was sending Natsu to land of Nil but Natsu burnt it away.

U cant use the end result to justify who is stronger sometimes you got to analyze the fight. That like saying natsu>laxus during the fighting festival arc because he finished off laxus. Yes zero lost to DF natsu. But natsu wasn't dominant in that fight. It's hard to quantify hades power level without the heart. But for a fact that team natsu attack>DF natsu strongest attack
DF Natsu didn't have much difficulty against Zero.He surely dominated him by a great margin. The only thing Zero did noteworthy was sending Natsu to land of Nil but Natsu burnt it away.
plz stop with this trolling http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/7.html http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/9.html http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail. /v19/c160/9.html. http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/9.html http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/9.html zero was winning right here http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/9.html http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/9.html. Natsu wins barely http://m.mangatown.com/manga/fairy_tail/v19/c160/9.html. So DF natsu had trouble beating zero

Laxus pwns natsu first of all pls follow forum rules and respect other's opinions.Calling others members trolling is against forum etiquette.

Secondly the fight was not one sided but it was dominated by DF Natsu. The panels you posted signify that it was not one sided. The reasons why he dominated were many-one of them was Natsu flicking Dark Capriccio with his hand easily.

But anyway i believe Hades>Zero and i never went into that particular debate.

Apology accepted. It's more about following forum rules rather than apologising to me

But any way as i am in phone and can't get back to laptop until tomorrow i will quote from wiki the parts where Natsu dominated
Natsu then grabs the Dark Guild Master by his
shirt and throws him over his head, straight
into the floor of the chamber. Quickly
recovering, Zero shoots another Dark Capriccio
towards Natsu, but he deflects it with a flick of
his hand, greatly shocking the Dark Mage.
Natsu quickly dashes towards Zero and
physically hits him multiple times. When Zero
retaliates with a kick, Natsu makes a comeback
with a kick of his own. Face split with an
insane smile, Zero uses the back of his hand to
land a heavy blow to Natsu's skull, who
promptly counters this with a Fire Dragon's
Roar, sending Zero crashing into the ceiling. As
he falls, Zero recognizes the Magic emanating
from Natsu as Dragon Force
As Zero looks on in pure shock, Natsu marvels
at the Magic he obtained, commenting that it's
the same as the feeling he got when he
consumed Etherion before. Zero ponders the
Mage's new power, smirking as he recalls how
Dragon Force gives the user the same strength
as an actual Dragon , the power to destroy
everything. He then taunts Natsu to come at
him with the power of a Dragon, with the Mage
confidently stating that he can win with this
power. Natsu then charges towards Zero.
Zero blocks the attack and casts Dark Gravity ,
causing the floor beneath Natsu to crumble.
Falling to the lower floors of Nirvana, Natsu
narrowly avoids plummeting to his death. He
has no time to rest, however, as Zero charges
down at him, launching an attack, which Natsu
manages to dodge. Engulfing both his hands
with his Darkness Magic, Zero creates whip-
like extensions , and strikes at the Dragon
Slayer, who manages to evade the quick
attacks, countering with another Fire Dragon's
Roar. However, Zero emerges from these
flames unscathed, managing to overwhelm
Natsu with a vicious attack, and following up
with a small burst of Darkness Magic, which
sends Natsu flying backwards. Not willing to
give his opponent anytime to rest, Zero
launches multiple discs of Magic at Natsu, who
manages to evades all of them.

It's more accurate to call the fight equal until Natsu unleashed his full power and defeated Zero.

Wiki isn't really accurate as they r using the anime filler fight to describe what happened. in the manga (the canon source) they were equal for a bit and then zero started taken over but natsu then wins btw unleashing his final strongest attack

Erza >>> August, apparently he became a poor shit who can only copy the opponent's magic against them.:kappa That is Fairy Tail for you.

Jellal should've stick to Mystogan's staves instead :kappa

Pretty sure he just knows his opponents magic better than they do and uses it against them, he doesnt copy anything.

Except he does. Well, you will see for yourself in the chapter when August turns out to be a hack.

My problem with August isn't even that he copies magic. It is that ridiculous weakness against holder magic and how pretentious he is for someone who didn't actually master all magic.

I still don't buy him being able to keep magic. He didn't read Gildarts's mind, didn't reflect Cana's cards or Gildarts's arm, didn't cast any advanced spell other than magic blasts. He didn't use Laxus's spell, didn't use Mest's memory manipulation, didn't use teleportation, not to mention all other spriggan magic he should've copied.

He might have a limit to how many magic he can keep and decided to go with meteor, but very iffy.

But is he really weak to holder type mages? All it means is that when he fights Holder types he has to do it like any other wizard does, rather than just eating their attacks without worry he has to dodge or block them. Not really much of a weakness, he doesnt take extra damage or deal any less damage.

As for him having a limit to how many magics he can keep, i doubt it. He wouldve learned Meteor around the same time as Relfector, assuming he hadnt already learned it before(which is likely since thats what he said). I'd wager he doesnt use all those magics simply because it would be a hassle for Mashima to incorporate all of them into a fight, he'd be virtually unstoppable. Its basically a bunch of PiS and CiS. Similar to how Zeref doesnt use Law on all of Fairy Tail.

Personally im hoping August knows the One Magic and thats why he can learn any spell just by observing them.

August can easily swipe away holder-types items and beat them over the head with his pimp cane. I mean Bickslow did it.

I believe August, who has copied and mastered almost all magic, is searching for a way to learn the One Magic. If i remeber Lucy said One Magic is connected with the concept of love, and we found out that August wasnt loved so i believe he doesnt know how to use it yet. And this is probably the main reason he is provoking Gildarts, so that he can learn what is love suposed to be(love between parent and child). Just a theory of mine.

I just read in the chapter thread that Jellal is redeemed/still a top tier, am I missing something? His feats are practically out-dated showing nothing of top tier level (outside of maybe magic power to produce Grand chariot?)
This made Jellal's power level look even worse. This dehyped his intelligence level, when Cana of average tier proved to be smarter than Jellal, and provided a tactic that Jellal was incapable of coming up with on his own.

He was oneshotted by neinhart, and destroyed by August. Even Cana seems to give him more trouble. Jellal is a mid tier now and went down in the power scaling level.

To be fair Kana didnt come up with any strategy, she just used her main magic. Gildarts was the one who figured everything out so he's the intelligent one. Also as far as i know Crime Sorciere doesnt possess any holder mages other than maybe Angel(if she got some new keys, Angel magic sux) who wasnt fighting, so it wouldve been harder for Jellal to figure anything out. Though i never thought of him as particularly intelligent anyway, confirmed dumber than Erza at least.

With that being said imo Gildarts no diffs Jellal based on their fights. Jellal was still completely helpless and couldnt keep up with August at all, unlike Gildarts who could match him speed for speed and actually land a hit not long into their battle. While from what we saw on panel Crime Sorciere together couldnt touch August. I suppose you could speculate maybe someone(not necessarily Jellal) landed a spell on August off panel and it was simply nullified, but tbh niether Jellal or the other members of CS has really given us a reason to suspect they did, or that they could.

In the end it doesnt really matter, we already knew Jellal was far weaker than August from the get go. Him getting no diffed was expected, doesnt make him look any shitter than having to use Grand Chariot to beat regular Neinhart(though imo it was overkill).

That's true, but since Jellal was living with Angel for many years, you would think some one who's generally hyped as a prodigy in smarts can figure that out.
He's pretty average smart tbh.

Based on this arc, I'd rank Jellal below Erza now. Used to have him higher. He's on par with Mirajane for me.

The prodigy part was anime only. As far as i can tell he's just an average joe, Erza proved herself more intelligent when she figured out Midnights magic, when Jellal couldnt.

I rank him the same as Mira too.
