It wouldn't have mattered what attack Azuma used. Erza would have tanked them all. Terra Clammare did more damage to Erza than any of Azuma's regular attacks. It knocked her unconscious. If Azuma used his own power instead, Erza would have still had the divine protection. Whether or not Azuma was blasting Erza with the tenrou tree's magic, the tenrou tree would have still granted Erza it's divine protection. That's simply what it does. Azuma's miscalculation was simply thinking that he had full control over the tree's magic. He did not.

Mirajane had the divine protection the entire time. Ever since she stepped foot on the island. Everyone with the mark gets divine protection and a boost to their magic power, and it's been happening the entire time they were on the island. The Sirius tree didn't decide to just turn on towards the end of the arc. Mirajane was simply running out of magic power despite the fact that she was boosted from the island. I could even argue that she's only even still alive after shielding Lisanna because of the divine protection.

Okay, but compare Mirajane's performance against Seilah to the stuff that Erza is pulling off. If we exclude stuff like stealing senses, then Erza was very much on Kyouka's level when it came to raw combat prowess. If not on the level of Kyouka with her strength enhancement, then at least on the level of Kyouka's regular form (which already outstats Seilah).

The Divine protection was only granted bcs he used Terra. Do you see anyone else getting amped with magical power of Tenrou? She was KOed briefly and didn't die so the divine protection still protected her. She also heard Jellal's voice in the first one and then started hearing everyone's voice in the second one which is telling that she was protected in both attacks. There's no way Erza was capable of getting smacked with Gild's mp alone let alone the entire guild and the island's mp. She only survived bcs the magic protected her twice. If Azuma used his own power then she wouldn't have Divine protection since the tree was out of commission. Even if the tree was up, the tree literally favored no one in battle outside two instances either way lol.

Other than that, everyone was operating at the same capacity they have always been at. If Mira gotten the power of the tree then there is no way she would be out of magical power. Why? Bcs the tree boosted Team Natsu back up to full magical power lol. No. The divine protection was active all the time. Azuma thought he had full control over the Tenrou Tree and prevented that from taking effect, but he was wrong and it still provided Erza (and probably everyone else with the guild mark tbh) with it's divine protection. If Azuma had tried to blast Erza with his own power, the divine protection would have still been in place. It would have done even less damage to Erza.

Either way, Mirajane had the divine protection the entire time she was on the island. The tenrou tree does 2 things. (1) Protect you from dying and (2) boost your MP. It does that to anyone who has the guild mark. That's the whole reason Makarov chose to host the test on the island. When it was down, it could only offer it's divine protection to Erza. Once Ultear restored the tree, it started boosting everyone's magic power again. The Tenrou Tree restored some of their magic power. Mirajane was running out of magic power because she was using more than the tree could boost. I would even argue that the only reason she was able to use Satan Soul was because the Tenrou Tree restored her magic faster than usual. She kept saying she couldn't keep using Satan Soul before Azuma trapped Lisanna.

The only good guy on that island that wasn't being buffed by the tree at any time was Laxus, because he had his guild mark removed. Everyone else had all the buffs until Azuma dropped the tree.

Again, Kyouka actually has better attack power than Seilah, so her slashes should simply be stronger than Seilah's explosions. There's no getting around this. Erza is stronger than Mirajane.

Sorry but if you exclude nakama power and plot armour in which erza has a lot, then she isn't. I like erza a lot but compared to other characters in the series the author hates seeing erza lose.

So anyway I'm going to go somewhat off topic (well actually on topic if we consider the thread). If Mirajane's basic satan soul is confirmed above Gray and on par with Skullion what does this mean for Halphas if it gets introduced in the manga, Sitri, Seilah, any other Tartaros form she has an Alegria? So really, if we think about it, given what 100 years quest showed us, BSS would beat Gray probably as easily as Skullion did and Sitri could just be low diff?

Simple answer, Yes. Alegria is so immense that it shook 2 of irene's best enchantment. See, those 2 girls never got scared when they saw makarov even in his giant form but got scared when they saw alegria. Although Im not saying that alegria is stronger than makarov.

I don't really understand why they are not shown as frequent as possible. I understand alegria and seilah because it uses too much magic power. But sitri and halphas is okay.

Gildarts is on tbe tier on its own. Depending on how they interpret it natsu should be above them all. But they keep toying him and showing that laxus, erza and gildarts are still above him lmao.

Oh you're one of those losers who call PoF? Lol. FT is a bunch of PoF deal with it. PoF feats are still feats. Mira can't even beat Jacob without him being nerfed.

Don't tell me about erza's feats because she was just hyped. Ikagura, azuma, kyouka and irene. Clearly, they are stronger than erza during their battles but obviously, she was saved by her plot armour

POF is a plot amour. You'll see someone was hyped if the enemy is much stronger yet easily beaten because of POF. FT does have POF, but it was minimal during the first season. The last chapter gas the worst POF.
