How would rank these beings in FT

Dragons
Machias
Humans
Demons
Celestial Spirits
Gods
The average rank of these beings or how strong they can become ?

Gods are not that good if you look at Chronos (still better than 99%of the Universe but not as good as other beings) but Anhkresam seems to be the stronger entity out there (a replica of his curse was about to take down Aldoron, a god Dragon)

Humans are overall the weakest ones. But they hold the possibility of being among the strongest

By average :
Dragons
Gods
Demons
Celestial Spirit
Machias
Humans

By their strongest representative I'd say

Gods
Dragons
Humans
Celestial Spirit
Demons
Machias

Jko likes Mira too much and hates Jellol too much lol. IIRC, he thinks base Natsu > Jellal.
During the Alvarez arc base Natsu > most people

@Axiomus
What's your take on Jellal getting "one shot" by Neinhart? Did he go down due to damage or due to breathlessness?
Dunno. I'm inclined to think he basically drowned. Maybe the blast hit him in the head and knocked him unconscious.

But as far as the actual damage done to his body after we see him get back up? Well, that was very minor. He was basically fine. He still took a beating from August afterwards, and then did everything he did against Acnologia after that too.

Yep, exactly.

The damage, if any at all, was minimal. IMO too, he clearly just drowned (from force) and became unconscious.

Completely agree. I'd just swap Dragons and Gods, for average as well. Ikatsunagi and Dimaria Cronus are mere incarnations of the original respective Gods, the OG ones are likely on a completely different tier.

For any practical power rankings, dragons are the strongest. We have like...what? 7 Acnologia tiers in the series now? That's 7 characters capable of soloing the rest of the characters in the series. Now there is an argument to be made that gods are the strongest with Ankhseram. But he's an outlier compared to the other gods we've seen so far.

Chronos and Ikusatsunagi should just be rated as they were shown. Chronos' merged Dimaria's bloodline as a takeover, and we don't really say Mirajane's takeovers aren't as strong as the real thing. Ikusatsunagi was just himself. Just like how Lucy's spirits have their own baseline MP that is irrespective of any summoner, Ikusatsunagi should have his own baseline level of MP. A stronger summoner might boost Ikusatsunagi's powers, but should he attempt to summon himself he would be even weaker than when Arlock summoned him.

Imagine current Lucy using Fairy Heart's energy while summoning the Celestial Spirit King. 😮 He'd have infinite stamina, full powered, and Lucy would never die because she can just reverse the damage (unless she's fighting someone who can burn magic itself).

Come on dude. You think the deity responsible for time would be so weak?

Just like Ankhseram can alter the life and death of practically anything, the original Chronos should be able alert the time of practically anything.

As for Ikatsunagi and his comparison with CSK. The CSK summoned by Lucy couldn't even get base Mard serious (Mard even commented on how weak he was). While, we know that, in their past encounters Mard and CSK were stalemate, and it's implied that Mard transformed back then (Mard tells Gray that he hadn't transformed in a very long time, which means he did transform against someone. Who? Likely CSK).
Point of all this, is that clearly the summoner's power is important. And it's not necessarily true, that the being who is summoned will be summoned with their original magic power as base. CSK, when appeared in his own accord, stopped time and appeared way more dominant; suggesting to me that the base power they get summoned with is much below their true power in THEIR realm

I wouldn't call it weak, but yes. I don't believe there's a difference between Chronos herself and Dimaria's takeover. Because well.... Dimaria's ancestors literally took over Chronos the same way Mirajane took the souls from everyone at Tartaros.

Mard didn't say CSK was weak. CSK's movements slowed down when Lucy ran out of MP, and Mard commented on his reliance on a summoner being his weakness. Even if CSK was stronger in the past fighting Mard, that would only mean that he had a stronger summoner boosting his powers above what Lucy could. CSK never stopped time.

Dimaria's ancestors worshipped Cronos and he rewarded their lineage, it's not like they overpowered Cronos and took him over (that's how Mira does it, right?)

CSK stopped time when he first appeared in the series. Around episode 30

Wish we could have seen the gods before the Dragon Gods. Ever since the God Slaying Magic's existence was revealed in the FTverse,I was hoping at some point, there will be an arc for them. Like, there's so many gods to choose from.

Well at some point they took over her soul. Never really said anything about Chronos rewarding them. Not that it matters. She could have rewarded them by giving her soul to them.

I know what the filler scene that the wiki is basing this off of. CSK kind of made Loke's glasses float. That's not enough to say he was manipulating time. For all we know, it's just his MP making Loke's glasses float. Like how MP tend to make rocks and water float sometimes. Actually, I think CSK also made a bunch of water flaot in that scene. Also, those fillers were from before Hiro really got more involved with the anime. The manga just shows Loke taking off his glasses.

Never knew it was filler, I didin't read wiki on that. I saw the episode and it seemed like he stopped time for everyone except Lucy and Celestial Spirits (water stopped flowing, glasses got stuck etc)

Well, there is one more thing. It's is demonstrated that, putting everything equal (like stats), God Slaying magic > Dragon Slaying magic. Doesn't this also suggest that Gods > Dragons is the norm?

It was. The manga doesn't have Loke's glasses stopping, which is the main thing. The water didn't stop flowing when CSk showed up in the anime. It was moving all over the place.

Well no. Because I don't equalize stats. Any dragon slayer strong enough to actually slay a dragon would wipe the floor with the 3 god slayers we've seen so far in a 3v1. The one exception to this is Chelia with 3rd Origin, but that's more due to 3rd origin than anything else. Also, there are dragon slayers who are stronger than 3rd Origin Chelia, even without using up all the magic they could have potentially achieved in their lifetime.

God Slayers pretty much only has 1 advantage over other slayers. That is that you have to empty your MP reserves first to eat God Slaying magic. This is obsolete if they fight someone that uses a different element.

In the anime, water did stop flowing, Just rewatched it.

My point is that God Slaying magic is far superior to Dragon Slaying magic. The nature of the magic is completely different, with God's magic being superior. This suggests that Gods being superior to Dragons is the norm, not the exception.

We only know of one God in it's true power, Ankhseram. He can solo the verse in an instant if he wishes to. Your judgement is based on other two.
- Dimaria's was a takeover, and the power of the takeover depends on the MP of the user, see how Satan Soul's power changed over the series as Mira herself improved.
- Second one was a summoning, whose power depends on the summoner, and Arlock was weak. In fact, if we factor in his (and his guild's) weak MP and see how strong Ikatsunagi was (no sold base Natsu's attack) inspite of the weak summoners, it's logical to assume that the real Ikatsunagi is an absolute monster of a powerhouse.

I doubt Ankhseram is that strong, in fact I don't think he's even strong enough to beat Acnologia, who's a human. Gods as far as we've seen are pretty mediocre, definitely below humans. Giving people immortality is an ok feat i suppose, if you want to even call it a feat, but it's still below dragon level, just look at the dragon that gave Acnologia his DS magic, it turned Acno into a far superior being than Zeref. So yeah, Dragons>>Gods
