Ok.......back to the power rankings.

Viernes will be the strongest DG.
Nah man, Ignia. Ignia is gonna be the dragon Natsu takes on after the rest are beaten. Honestly I hope Viernes and Selene team up, get this whole show done quickly. Knowing that there is 3 left makes the plot feel so damn slow, it's like a fetch quest. But yeah, Igneel's son will be the strongest, except for Natsu.

I got hope for my boy Viernes. Other than the dragon gods. We still have the WW and her cult, and Diabolos. And we got the main vilian Elfseria left.

Is the white witch still a threat? She don't feel to threatening right now. I imagine Diablos will be scattered throughout the arc. Maybe they'll actually eat Viernes or Selene. I wanna see them eat at least one dragon

Good, because that's exactly my point. Natsu's baseline strength was greater, so his FDK attacks were greater.

Yeah, I know, but you rank IgNatsu significantly higher than I do. For me it'd be FDK IgNatsu>END>FDK Natsu>Base IgNatsu>Base Natsu, without the gap between any of them being particularly significant.

They also both exist outside of Natsu's emotions, they have a baseline strength.
FDK's high end feats are better, because Savage Natsu was better when using them, it is Base Natsu's strength that determines FDKs strength, FDK itself doesn't really do anything other than be one of his stronger attacks. As for it being capable or using positive emotions rather than negative ones, that's only if Natsu is feeling more positive than negative, and even then it's not ordinary PoF. If you want to say FDK has the potential to exceed END because Natsu is generally more positive and no one dies in FT, then sure, I'll generally agree, but beyond that, no.
Flames of savage emotions are him using the power of the guild, I see no difference between that and him using Atlas Flames power.

His flames are stronger too because Igneel's baseline strength is greater, same with Ignia.
Well yes, Natsu can use FDK with very little POF. The can be seen through his feats against Makarov or Jacob. His feats with Purgatory also show us where he's at now. END without any emotions simply gave Natsu a coma. He had to be in a rage just to overcome the coma.

POF aside, I consider FDK as a superior type of fire to END's power. Remember, FDK is Igneel's fire. When Natsu is using FDK, he's really just trying to recreate Igneel's fire with the level of MP he has. The full potential of FDK should be Igneel's level. If Igneel can shoot off attacks like the one Ignia did, and he probably can, then it's way stronger than what I consider END's power to be capable of. Factor POF back in, and Natsu already has attacks with FDK that I would argue is stronger than END's attacks. I don't consider any of END's attacks to be flat out superior to Demolition Fist the same way FDK Purgatory is.

Natsu had to eat Atlas Flame's power for a power-up. For flames of savage emotions, Natsu just has to think about the guild. One is an external power-up that must be eaten. The other is just POF.

Isn't that because Laxus was casual against her? He had no intention of killing her. Laxus probably spent like 5-10% of his total MP on Kyria. While, against Wahl, he put all the power he could muster in that one attack (and, IMO, Wahl wouldn't have been one shot if not for him not having his guard on due to assuming he's immune to lightning, and if not for red lightning which has corrosive properties)
Wahl would mid (high at most) diff Kyria IMO

I'd put Ajeel above Wahl too (because of intang and sandstorm), but in terms of stats I'd put Wahl above Ajeel
Surely I can't be the only one who sees the irony here?

For all your time here, you have tried to convince us that Serena was equal to Gildarts. When Serena only managed to trade blows with Gildarts briefly while the latter was casually going at it. Once Gildarts has tested the water like how he did when he fought Natsu during the S-Class trial, he deemed Historia Serena's strength as disappointing and quickly sent him flying with his first serious attack. That shows a massive gulf in class between them. Somehow, this led you to the conclusion that if Serena was still alive he would be equally powerful as the Gildarts who fought with the same intensity as when he fought August.

Oops, sorry, wrong Phantoms. :XD

Totomaru seemed to be stronger than Natsu for the first half of the fight, by the way he both controlled Natsu's fire and beat his ass effortlessly, until midfight Natsu just powered up, gained full control of his fire and destroyed Totomaru (and then went on to kick Gajeel's ass).

About element resistances, I guess it's true that Gray gained magical resistance to cold temperatures when he became a slayer (his original ice make magic didn't provide him much resistance to it since Ur had he had to train his body to become accostumed to low temperatures rather than the magic giving him immunity), but Invel was clearly even more resistant to cold than he was. Invel was just an ice mage stronger than an ice slayer, and so the strongest basic ice magic user in the series by a big margin.

Wahl was strong since he could fire etherions and all that, but he didn't last a single second without element immunity. His performance was deplorable.

If we take into account the facts that you support: Gray's immunity to Invel's element and Gray's ability to just eat Invel's element to recharge his strength, then the implication is not that Laxus > Wahl = Invel > Gray, but rather that Invel >> Gray with an unknown correlation to Wahl and Laxus.

Gray's strength was already cemented as quite beastly since the previous arc, yet a character who supposedly should be disadvantaged against him (Although Invel claimed it was the other way around) gave him the hardest fight in the series, and that just implicates that Invel was a proper overpowered Spriggan like they were supposed to be, something that Wahl wasn't.
Agreed.

From what we've seen, Invel should be one of the stronger Spriggan. However, he doesn't seem to be regarded as such. The guy is actually durable enough to block and nullify a zeroth longsword with a hand, shook off an injury after the first zeroth longsword managed to slash him across, and got up from a melee assault from Gray who was powerful enough to clash evenly with END throughout. Offensively, Invel isn't spectacular by any means. However, the potency of his attack revolves around his freezing capacity. It seemed to be the theme with him. His magic was potent enough to freeze Natsu and his DS flames despite the incredible heat they are capable of. And Gray despite his tremendous resistance to cold.

The disappointing part with Invel was that his strongest spell wasn't really an attack, rather an ice armour that froze anything that touches it. That means it is a reactive spell, not a proactive one. However, the spell did somewhat live up to what Invel said it can do, as Gray was on the verge of being frozen solid until he managed to overpower the armour's defensive capability in the dying seconds. It took Gray to employ what is likely his strongest attack to finally put Invel down for good too. Despite being brutalised, the guy could still carry on a proper conversation afterwards lol.

In contrast, the likes of Jacob and Neinhart were knocked out cold. Bloodman took a headbutt from Gajeel once in their fight. Once Gajeel found a way to bypassed his intangibility, Bloodman was destroyed. Invel have shown he is a more resilient fighter than any of them by quite a margin. His spells such as Ice Lock/Ice Slave were effective in their purpose of freezing his foes' thoughts and making them do his bidding against their will. Quite impressive when you think FT characters has far greater willpower than your average character in the series.

END didn't give Natsu a coma, fusion did. END by itself with no emotions makes Natsu too powerful for Brandish or Dimaria. All Natsu requires is willingness to use it's power, though emotions can force its use.

I disagree, if all it took was Natsu to think of the guild he'd be that powerful all the time. In fact he'd be that powerful in Tartaros and GMG too. Infinite magic is infinite, so Natsu being naturally weaker in earlier arcs would be a drop in an infinite bucket, he would be Zeref tier all the time, since the start of the series. Savage Flames is as much of an external powerup as Atlas Flame or Etherion, just greater, and with less clear circumstances surrounding it.

1. I never claimed Gildarts was serious against Historia Serena. My claim of Serena = Gildarts was from portrayal, Serena
2. Historia Serena still tussled with Gildarts for a while and managed to give him some injuries. While Kyria failed to put even a scratch on Laxus
3. As for Gildarts testing Natsu, it was clearly different. Natsu still couldn't do jackshit to casual Gildarts, where he didn't even move an inch from his spot until the last moment. He actually battled with Serena and they matched in physical combat. So much force emanated from their clash that even Natsu and Gray were pushed back. Surely you should be able to see the difference.
4. All this was by Historia Serena, if his Historia could do all this, why should I suspect that his full power couldn't be a threat to serious Gildarts?

You may say this isn't conclusive evidence to put Serena on Gildarts tier, but you don't have conclusive evidence to put him below as well. Him no diffing Jura + 3 mages tiers above him at least proves that he's far above the average Spriggan in STATS (in before you respond, note the key word stats here. Jura is Makarov tier, and Makarov would be above half the Spriggans in stats). I use this, as was as Gildarts statements to assess he would be Gildarts tier at full power

The lack of proof is evidence enough. Gildarts blitzed August.

So what? Like any spriggan could have done this. Why is it some special feat lol?

I use this, as was as Gildarts statements to assess he would be Gildarts tier at full power
Oh ok, so I will use this logic and say that because August praised Hyberion (like Gildarts did with GS), Hyberion = August.

All this was by Historia Serena, if his Historia could do all this, why should I suspect that his full power couldn't be a threat to serious Gildarts?
He didn't do anything to team Nastu other than catch them off guard.

So much force emanated from their clash that even Natsu and Gray were pushed back. Surely you should be able to see the difference.
Bruh....they didn't even move. They didn't even comment on it.

False, he pushed him back.

One injury. That's it which isn't a feat.

And till this day you have no proof of said potrayal.

Scan of this? Because I certainly missed it.

Again why does this matter? I can name you 20 mages right now that could've solo'd the GOI.
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Not you nor any GS fan can prove why he's an above average Spriggan. The only special ones were August, Irene, and Larcade.

He's not stronger than Dimaria, Bloodman or probably even Invel.

Sure, Natsu might not be dying if it was just the demon seed. Natsu still needed to be emotionally charged to tap into END's power. When he calmed down, END's power disappeared.

Igneel's fire is FDK. The only difference between FDK flames used by Natsu and Igneel's fire is that Igneel has more MP. The full potential of FDK should be comparable to an attack that Igneel would use at full power. When Natsu uses FDK without POF, his attacks are much weaker than what Igneel himself can do. As Natsu gets stronger by tapping into POF, he starts edging closer to the full potential of FDK. Obviously Natsu isn't reaching peak levels of POF all the time, but when he does he is able to tap into the full potential of FDK flames. Also Natsu wouldn't be just as strong in the previous arcs simply by tapping into POF. One, because he hadn't learned FDK yet. And two, because his baseline is simply stronger during the Alvarez arc.

Well, that's literally how Natsu tapped into savage flames. He thought about Makarov's speech, and realized that he should be thinking about the guild. He's still not eating anything for a power-up like with Altas Flame's power.

Well he doesn't really need to, he just has to choose to use it, but sure, emotions allow it to take over as well.

Well yeah, exactly, Igneel has more MP, that's my whole point. Stronger user makes the spell stronger, the full potential of any spell should be comparable to an attack from Igneel, that is if you have Igneel level MP. Even a mere physical attack is comparable to a full power spell from Igneel.
Irrelevant, if Natsu can jump to Infinity magic levels just by using PoF, he would be near exactly the same strength as he was when he faced FH Zeref at the start of the series. Natsu's Alvarez strength shouldn't matter at all if he's getting infinity strength from PoF anyway. Gajeel, Jellal, Zero, Hades, Rogue, Mard, he should have been FH Zeref tier against all of them when he broke out the PoF.

Not eating =/= not getting power. What Natsu did is probably similar to what Fairy Sphere does, converting bonds into power has always been an Acno tier move. Or maybe not, but whatever he did, it's clear that it's not something he can always do, who knows what the circumstances behind it are.

Which never happened. Even if Natsu was forced to make the choice between dragon and demon, he probably wouldn't choose to be a demon anyways. The only way for END's power to activate to a noticeable point was for Natsu to be emotional.

The full potential of FDK should be comparable to an attack from Igneel. Not every spell has the same potential, so you're going to have to convince me that every spell can reach Igneel level.

POF doesn't give Natsu infinite MP. When Natsu fought Zeref, he was still using a finite amount of MP. The MP was able to generate FDK flames hot enough to burn time and magic, but it was still a finite amount of MP. I believe I've pointed this out before, but Ignia's flames were probably just as hot. We know this because they too burned Natsu's hands, and the temperatures required to burn Natsu's hands was at the temperatures required to burn Zeref's time magic. They also wiped out Mercphobia's MP for the foreseeable future, which is par for the course for what we should expect from something on the level of savage flames.

Natsu's not getting a power-up from someone else. Nor is what he is doing really similar to Fairy Sphere, which requires a bunch of people to literally link hands and share their magic. What Natsu is doing is simply tapping into POF. Even if you say that he was tapping into the guild's bonds and whatnot, this is still just POF. POF generally involves "connecting hearts" with your friends and loved ones, and getting a power-up from that.
