Dragons aren't immune to magic either. They just have really tough scales. We've seen magic work on dragons, particularly types that control their minds.
Erza with dragon slaying magic can inflict lethal damage to dragons on Irene's level. I have very little doubt that Gildarts and Laxus can do the same.
If Natsu ever becomes a full dragon, he would probably be around the level of the god dragons. Think Ignia or Igneel in terms of stats. God Dragons have proven to be so durable that they can tank attacks from all of team Natsu with a slayer advantage. Igneel would rather face Acnologia as a dragon than transform into a human, so the stat advantage at their level is probably large enough that it outweighs their vulnerability to slaying magic.

I don't think Gods and Demon's powers have the properties of slaying magic when used against each other. Dragons do, and that's why they've evolved over time to be so durable against everything else.Don't debate that logic to me lmao, take it up with Mashima. God slayer magic is pretty much God's magic used by humans, yet is super effective. Devil Slayer magic is just demon magic used by humans, yet super effective. It is what it is, even tho I agree that it's pretty nonsensical.
