Nah, if anything it gives the other DGS a boost since they all scale to each other at full power and they all long surpassed AcnoAt this point, Acno victory talk is Time Lapse or hax dependent. Selene gave Acno a boost too when she broke the verse. An Merc is saying that the power she’s excerting right now is nothing to a Dragon God.![]()
Also Wendy was able to counter most of Eileen enchantmentsEileen went down to Erza + Wendy, but her strongest form was hard countered and in the end she basically proved that she could've stabbed Erza in the end and won, even if by a margin, but instead stabbed herself.
Suzaku canceled out a named attack from Selene and cut her. August didn't want no smoke with Acno, and Irene didn't damage Acno.So for now Suzaku is stronger than some Sprigans and weaker than others ( than Dimaria and Brandish because of their hax, Irene, August, maybe Larcade) but he may prove to be stronger than August and Irene. Skullrion is literally Ajeel 2.0 but using ashes, Madmole and Kyria are below Skullrion's level so they both are low Spriggan level, more or less.
To be fair August most likely couldn’t do anythingSuzaku canceled out a named attack from Selene and cut her. August didn't want no smoke with Acno, and Irene didn't damage Acno.
Skullion is above mid Spriggan level. Not August/Irene level, he's not stronger than Larcade (in portrayal) or God Serena (in statements). He's above the rest of the 12.
Madmole and maybe Kyria are above 6/12 Spriggans.
An as was pointed out to them. Neither was anything to really brag about. August watched him murder his comrade with 8 different dragon magics at his fingertips, and was shook. Irene took a few pot shots, but did no damage, didn’t even push him to eat it. POF Jellal had 2 good moments, but people still can’t agree on that. Suzaku is the only person to step to an Acno tier and do damage without a continent of Mages backing them up, and holding them still. Some people are overhyping Suzaku. I mean, Selene is strong as Acnologia but the last one has the advantage of cancel magic. As other people said, Irene, Jellal, etc. managed to exchange blows with human Acnologia for a while, Jellal was even able to push back Acnologia dragon form with his Meteor. Actually, even Cobra endure some attacks from the ''mind Acnologia" in the Space Between Time. First, we need to see how serious Selene really is and if she is using all her power against Suzaku.
So for now Suzaku is stronger than some Sprigans and weaker than others ( than Dimaria and Brandish because of their hax, Irene, August, maybe Larcade) but he may prove to be stronger than August and Irene. Skullrion is literally Ajeel 2.0 but using ashes, Madmole and Kyria are below Skullrion's level so they both are low Spriggan level, more or less.
Alvarez Empire started a war with another continent to steal Fairy Heart, the infinite magic, to make Zeref strong enough to defeat Acnologia, why would August challenge Acnologia to a fight if he knows that he will not win? If August or Irene or the 12 together could defeat Acnologia they won't start a war to achieve Fairy Heart. August just did not want to pick a fight that he would lose. That doesn't mean that he couldn't do small injuries on Acnologia. Chocking Spoiler: Suzaku will not defeat Selene O:Suzaku canceled out a named attack from Selene and cut her. August didn't want no smoke with Acno, and Irene didn't damage Acno.

So what? Acnologia blitzed God Serena and killed him and August choose not to take revenge. God Serena has joined the group last than a year ago, why the leader of the 12 would deviate from the main objective for God Serena? Zeref would defeat Acnologia later if Alvarez won the war.An as was pointed out to them. Neither was anything to really brag about. August watched him murder his comrade with 8 different dragon magics at his fingertips, and was shook. Irene took a few pot shots, but did no damage, didn’t even push him to eat it. Skullion is weaker than August, Irene, and Larcade bc hax. I have no reason to think any of the other Spriggan can touch him. An the idea Suzaku is low tier Spriggan when the strongest Spriggan were too shook to step, and powerless even with a DS advantage.![]()

Yes, Skullion can turn a whole city into ashes, and more, and it's not even his strongest attack. He's a cut above average spriggans, the likes of Ajeel has no shot against him.About Skullion:
But Ajeel can cover all the city with sand and he can merge with the sand, can Skullion turn all the city into ashes? because if he can't do that, Ajeel will escape merging with the sand. Both of them can kill with one spell. So I see them pretty close.
Irene (who's on August level) fought Acno, and she never damaged him once.If August or Irene or the 12 together could defeat Acnologia they won't start a war to achieve Fairy Heart. August just did not want to pick a fight that he would lose. That doesn't mean that he couldn't do small injuries on Acnologia.
Gildarts stated that God Serena would've a strong opponent for him in his prime. x792 Gildarts > Jellal > God Serena, they all on the same level.Jellal feats actually are better than Suzaku because Jellal doesn't have DS magic, so it is easier for to Suzaku challenge and harm a dragon than is for Jellal. Jellal pushed Acnologia, dodged a blast launched by Acno that split the ocean, blocked an attack launched by human Acnologia, etc. Suzaku is fighting better than God Serena, but on Serena's side is the fact that Acnologia was hunting DS, so Acno came against him with killing intention while Selene seems that was underestimating Suzaku until he cut her face.
Acnologia was toying with the dragon slayers in final battle, he never moved once from his spot. Acno with killing intent ends Fairy Tail.As I said, Cobra tanked a physical hit from Acnologia that caused internal damage and kept fighting, Cobra is a ''weak'' mage nowadays, so a DS with some hype needs to do what Suzaku is doing at least.
Skullion beat x793 Gray. Gray matched END, who destroyed God Dimaria with her time hax. Dimaria >> Invel > Ajeel. He is intangible, "truly" intangible, not like Ajeel who only transforms swords and other weapons into sand when they touch his body. But Ajeel can cover all the city with sand and he can merge with the sand, can Skullion turn all the city into ashes? because if he can't do that, Ajeel will escape merging with the sand. Both of them can kill with one spell. So I see them pretty close. The thing is Skullion has the Dragon Force, so he can surpass Ajeel's level with it, but in his human form, I see them as equals. We don't know until now if Skullion can endure strong attacks once that his intangibility is overcome.
We know that Mirajane Classic Satan Soul could make ''some'' damage to Skullrion and this TO only has physical attacks and explosions, so explosions can hurt Skullion somehow. Wahl can make explosions, and probably create a wind weapon to overcome Skullrion intangibility (which officially works); Neinhart can use wind magic, so even he can overcome the intangibility while his Historias fight Skullion (but he will probably lose because he is Neinhart); God Serena too can use wind magic; Dimaria can stop time and hurt him before he can turn his body into ashes...
I want to see if Gray will have a rematch against Skullion because, if Gray wins by using Invel's True Ice Kamui ice, Invel will be another Spriggan above Skullion..
Madmole is stated to be on x793 Base Natsu level. He's clapping half of the Spriggan 12.Kiria is kind of bad so will skip her, but Madmole seems more durable than lots of Spriggan, but since his DS property is "being durable" I don't know how strong he really is overall, he doesn't seem fast or intelligent, or really good to anything besides endure attacks and have relevant physical strength (which isn't big deal when all relevant characters have it too).
Ok. But it doesn't mean anything because the Black Ash doesn't have the AOE of the vortex, so what really matters it's the Corpse Dragon's Utter Ash covering the city. So Skullion >> Ajeel. But if Ajeel fights in a desert area, he may escape the AOE by merging with the sand underground. Thus, Skullion is above but isn't a relevant difference until he used other spells at least.Yes, Skullion can turn a whole city into ashes, and more, and it's not even his strongest attack. He's a cut above average spriggans, the likes of Ajeel has no shot against him.

It never was stated that Irene fought directly Acnologia in the past. She just saw him killing other dragons and ending the war. And by this time she wasn't a dragon.Irene (who's on August level) fought Acno, and she never damaged him once.
Gildarts stated that God Serena would've a strong opponent for him in his prime. x792 Gildarts > Jellal > God Serena, they all on the same level.
Irene is also a dragon slayer who's much stronger than Alvarez Gildarts, yet she inflicted no damage on Acnologia.
Acnologia was toying with the dragon slayers in final battle, he never moved once from his spot. Acno with killing intent ends Fairy Tail.
Skullion beat x793 Gray. Gray matched END, who destroyed God Dimaria with her time hax. Dimaria >> Invel > Ajeel.
Madmole is stated to be on x793 Base Natsu level. He's clapping half of the Spriggan 12.
Kyria is roughly on a equal footing with an Erza using weaker armor sets. She beating low-tier Spriggans like Neinhart, Jacob and Ajeel.
What do you mean? he could consume the sand in a desert just as easily, his AoE is bigger than Sand World's. And how does Ajeel having a means of fleeing the spell, when he's in a battlefield that favors his element, mean that he's not well below Skullion? I mean Skullion could easily dodge anything Ajeel has too regardless of where they fight, he can teleport. Black Ash is all Skullion needs to deal with Ajeel, he could end the fight before he even thinks to use Sand World. And if he does use Sand World? Skullion has that beat too. All avenues lead to Ajeel's loss, even if they were to fight in a desert.Ok. Thus, Skullion is above but isn't a relevant difference until he used other spells at least.
I'm talking about when Irene fought Acnologia in the Alvarez Arc. Suzaku cutting Selene and canceling out her attack > Irene's battle Vs Acnologia. It never was stated that Irene fought directly Acnologia in the past. She just saw him killing other dragons and ending the war. And by this time she wasn't a dragon.
Are you trying to imply all 7 Dragon Slayers in the final battle are stronger than God Serena? Because that's major cap, God Serena is portrayed to be a near high-level Spriggan. Acnologia oneshotted God Serena with killing intent, he didn't take the dragon slayers seriously until Natsu's speech and 7 dragons power-up. He stayed standing in one spot the entire fight.Acnologia wanted to defeat the DSs and transform them into crystals to establish a balance in the Place Between Time, so... anyway, he was stronger than Selene is right now with the up from Place Between Time, so even if he was ''toying'' it doesn't mean that his attacks were weak, once his physical attacks were causing internal injuries.
It's called power progression. Dimaria got murked by END, she got PTSD and abandoned fighting altogether after that encounter. Gray fought that same END on an equal footing. A year later passes, the Fairy Tail guild got stronger, then Gray proceeds to lose to Skullion. It's not complicated, it's power scaling/ranking through feats: Skullion > Dimaria > Invel > Ajeel.Skullion beat Gray but didn't beat Elfman :B. And the fight against Gray was in the middle of the sea, which makes it hard for Gray to move.
It seems that Dimaria was defeated by the End Awakening, so Natsu was more brutal hitting her than when he fought Gray because Natsu regained some consciousness ( as we can see because he untied Lucy) before went to fight Gray. I agree that Dimaria > Invel > Ajeel, but Ajeel overcome Gray's Devil Slayer magic too, and Invel almost shattered Gray into pieces of Ice and Gray has resistance against Ice; Gray needed to replicate Invel's Kamui Ice to overcome him. The thing is: Skullion almost killed Gray because his magic kills turning the target body into ashes, it doesn't mean that it will succeed if he fights an Ice stronger than Silver's Ice and if he fights someone who can stop time. The logical "A defeat B, B lost to C, so A >>>C" is so simple, you can't ignore the context or the magic compatibility of the opponents.
What do you mean? he could consume the sand in a desert just as easily, his AoE is bigger than Sand World's (1). And how does Ajeel having a means of fleeing the spell, when he's in a battlefield that favors his element, mean that he's not well below Skullion? (2) I mean Skullion could easily dodge anything Ajeel has too regardless of where they fight, he can teleport. Black Ash is all Skullion needs to deal with Ajeel, he could end the fight before he even thinks to use Sand World (3). And if he does use Sand World? Skullion has that beat too. All avenues lead to Ajeel's loss, even if they were to fight in a desert.

1) Yeah, but Irene didn't try to fight Acnologia and failed. She didn't harm him, but he didn't harm her also. Irene was just entertaining Acnologia until Universe One is ready to be activated. The comparison isn't good. Acnologia actually praises her mp even when they just exchanged two attacks. Wendy using 1% of Irene's power defeated a Diablos DE in DF mode, if no-DF Suzaku isn't 100 times stronger than this fellow he isn't strong as Irene. I will not put him on Irene and August level until the conclusion of this battle, he isn't the first mage to stand against a dragon and show a ''good performance'', although I agree that Acnologia wasn't serious with the others. Anyhow, we really don't know how much strength Selene is putting into this fight and if she can bring her all right now. And overcome a ''name'' spell is good, but Acnologia didn't use name spell with anyone, even when he wanted to kill the person, maybe because Acnologia's element is ''immunity'' to all elements, so he can't really use an element and doesn't have ''named elemental spells".1) I'm talking about when Irene fought Acnologia in the Alvarez Arc. Suzaku cutting Selene and canceling out her attack > Irene's battle Vs Acnologia.
3) Are you trying to imply all 7 Dragon Slayers in the final battle are stronger than God Serena? Because that's major cap, God Serena is portrayed to be a near high-level Spriggan. 1 - Because Skullion wasn't in the city, his AoE was just so large that it would include the city as part of it's destruction. Ajeel on the other hand was in Magnolia, and used Sand world to surround it.1) What? Ajeel's sand covered all Magnolia, a city with 60,000 inhabitants. Skullrion's ashes could spread from the sea and involve all Ermina, but Erminia is a port town that doesn't look bigger than Magnolia, so why the Skullrion AoE is bigger?
2) I'm saying that Ajeel can even deal with the AoE of the vortex if he is fighting in a scenario that is good to his magic. Ajeel, as well as Juvia, fights better when they have more of their element to control.
Skullion must fight better in some places than others too. The sea is good for him, once his magic is to turn "things" into ashes. Unlike Ajeel, who can "summon" a sandstorm that covers all the city, Skullion needs to turn a "big thing" into ashes and it spreads it turning more things into ashes, so the sea is a good scenario for creating a lot of ashes able to cover a city.
3) It's totally an assumption. Nothing prevents Ajeel from start the battle casting Sand Word. You're downplaying Ajeel because his performance off scream against Elfman and Lisanna was ''very low'', but Skullion fighting Mirajane and Elfman wasn't as impressive as when he fought Gray also. The manga didn't show that a huge area of the city was turned into sand in the end of the battle, so Skullion didn't do anything impressive. We're comparing their abilities and without '' inexplicable plot restrainments".
Anyway, Sand Word isn't just ''sand'', is a sandstorm, so sand and wind. The wind is something that overcomes Skullion magic, so can Skullion really fight well under the sandstorm?

2) No. I agree with you.
3) There's a Q&A that ''explains'' (not really explains seriously) that Dimaria was hit two times by Natsu, the ''boom'' END awakening when he was tied and after he thought Lucy was dead, he strikes Dimaria again. Anyway, I was thinking better and that doesn't matter, because Dimaria was in her base form (without the Chrones TO) and she seems just normal in human form, I mean, her attributes. I just remembered that she tried to attack Kagura when the latter was distracted and Kagura blocked her attack...
Power scaling happens, but it isn't like you're saying. Brandish is seen as very strong even after 1 year, Ajeel to, and Irene more than ever. Wendy and Lucy still being defeated by an opponent who doesn't seem so strong to rival the Spriggans (Kiria), etc, etc. You guys acting like ''people got some new power'' and everything just changed, but it's not like that. By the time of Alvarez Arc, some demons of the Tartaros would still strong and could rival some Spriggans (Kyouka, Silver, Mardgeer) and until now the Spriggans are stronger than the Diablos by feats. And I'm ignoring the ''gag'' that was Alvarez Gray and Lyon having difficulty against Ur, a character that was strong by the time of the second arc of the manga.... because at this moment Mashima was saying that the ''power scaling'' doesn't matter at all.
Yeah no. None of the demons rival the Spriggan at all. That’s the issue. Some people can’t scale. Mashima was clear that the Spriggan are beyond any other villian in the series so far, and you still have people arguing why he’s wrong and these other characters scale to them, when absolutely nothing suggests that’s the case, at all.1) What?
