That is actually not true as Elf dude even knew about Natsu’s Fire and Wendy’s Sky magics even after those events, and even about the magic council members which were around for less than a 100 years, even about their actions, so Elf dude did not lose his powers, otherwise he Wouldn’t be turning into a dragon either.

He had knowledge on that because they were taught by their dragon parent 400 years ago, his Law Dragon Slayer magic could still put this info in his database 100 years ago. About the council members he just have looked it by himself. The entire reason why he couldn't tell other DG locations was because he lost the knowledge granted by his powers.

This spell from Gray isn't bad. He's adapted to survive extreme cold and ice conditions, so it's only natural that he can outlast his opponent.

It could also be because Igneel was with Natsu and can’t know what happened then because he was too powerful, it did mention the power is something he can’t know about as Selene mentioned. Yet he couldn’t look up how Acno was defeated? They use their own archive magic, something he wouldn’t have access and they possess great secrecy to even their personalities as well. He even knew about some of their weapons as well. He didn’t lose his power just that it grew powerful for him, he still has knowledge on it as he still stated that it was made by his pupil. And as he mentioned, he and the heart are still intimately linked.

Technically, it is a matter of power difference as Selene mentioned. His heart became too strong for him despite being connected to it still. That explains why he can’t learn about the DG’s as much. And he can still use his powers, such as he knew about Face secret and the traitors in the Magic Council which happened after his heart was eaten.

If we”re talking about nerfed definitely Irene wins considering the scaling from full power and even nerfed DG and average Spriggan strength that the latter can harm them at most.

I already met someone thinking that Dragon Irene is Igneel level, the Irene wankers from this sub thinks that she can take the 4 BDSK when not even August should be able to take this team while Irene is extremely vulnerable to DS magic and now this? I had enough, time for Irene slander

Wendy can beat one of the DDKs and ghost Irene is still stronger than her, so can Erza and Wendy‘s magic is greater than Erza’s as her enchantments can work against her, so yeah, Irene can take them. Irene would only be vulnerable to DS in Dragon form considering that she was hit by DS magic in DF when caught off guard in human form before and still stood Like it was no problem.
